Chapter Text
This was kind of my first attempt at drawing a furry/anthro. She's supposed to be based off an Icelandic sheepdog, and I named her Freyja. I might sneak her into a future work, but many people who are much more experienced have suggested I stick with just one for now. Her uniform is supposed to be kind of military, if you couldn't already tell from her Lee-Enfield inspired rifle.
The legs were kind of a tough part for me. It seems like a lot of people draw their legs differently, or just choose plantigrade feet/legs. But for my first drawing, I don't think it's that bad. I did try and add some shading, but I've never really shaded before so it's a bit rough.
The second drawing I finished was this one of an African wild dog. I named her Asha. She's supposed to be a kind of ranger, and I've given her a Martini-Henry inspired rifle. I do have some ideas floating around my brain for future fics involving her, but those might not come for a while.
Overall, I do think this drawing is better than my first. I didn't really try any shading though, but I'd like to get better at that. I plan on drawing characters from my actual current work (Wanderlight) eventually, so hopefully my next post might have some of Harper.
