Mizi ignored their comment. It was for the best.
Did she consider Sua her mate?
Yes, she loved her dearly. She could never love anyone else, her heart would crumble by the mere thought of it.
Mates as a whole, was a funny concept.
A breeding partner to create smaller versions of them. Mizi would never have a smaller version of her. While she loved Sua more than anything. So pretty, so small and so adorable... there would never be a youth running around with her gods beautiful purple eyes. And Mizis own pink hair.
She knew others saw her as a worthy mate.
Popular, friendly. Beautiful to. Atleast thats what people tell her. Act around her.
So why is it so hard to for them to understand that her mate is Sua? Just cause they cant produce a young?
Was that really all that was to them?
Mizi looked up at the blue box that was the Anakt Gardens ceiling. A heaven?
Would she even like having young? Well. Its not like they could get one together anyway. Not when it almost was their turn on the stages.
Mizi spaced out. She already knew how the first round would go down. She dint mention it to Sua. She knew. And sua couldnt know, never know. It would crush her, she was so easy to crush.
Mizi was put out of her trance when Sua sat down beside her. She looked sad, not a frown on her her pretty face. Just. Sadness laced in her eyes. Mizis hand went to Suas and held it. They made eye contact and Mizi slipped in her big usual smile. Suas eyes dint light up. But she smiled, pulling Mizi into a hug. She would enjoy it.
There wasnt many evenings like these left for them. Unbelivable how Sua has cut her heart up, crawled into it. And sewed it shut from the inside. And only makes it beat faster. As if a second heart and soul beats with her. She wonders if Suas feels her heart beat with Mizis beside her own to. She Hopes.
Sua. Her love, universe and god.
