Gamin entered the room and walked in. The room was empty, no one was sighing. That was strange, Sehyun said everyone was there. Gamin didn’t think much and just sat in his usual seat and opened his book right away. He needs to study to catch up with everyone.
Gamin focused on his book, trying to solve some math problems. After a few minutes in silence, suddenly the door opened, everyone got in and the chaos began.
“Happy birthday Gamin! Happy birthday Gamin! Happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday GAMIN!!”
Gamin stood up immediately, everyone gathered around him. Sehyun holding a cake with a candle on top of it. while the others stand beside him.
Gamin looked at everyone in front of him, Sehyun, Jiwoo, Heewon, Jun, even Hyunwoo and Geonyeop were there, to celebrate his birthday. Gamin had never thought that this kind of day would come, a day when he had friends who celebrated his birthday with him. He looked at everyone who smiled so brightly, being happy to be able to enjoy this rare moment with him. Then, he closed his eyes, praying to whoever God out there, praying for this moment to come back again, praying for them to always stay by himself, praying for everything to never change.
Gamin opened his eyes, blowing the candle that was rewarded by everyone cheering and applause.
“Now, let’s eat the cake!” Heewon said, Sehyun put the cake on the table and everyone followed. Sehyun handed Gamin some knives to cut the cake.
“Who's gonna get the first cake?” Jun asked jokingly.
“Isn’t it obvious!” Hyunwoo answered while looking at Sehyun.
Without hesitation, Gamin handed the first cake to Sehyun.
“Of course it will be him.” Jiwoo said while crossing his hand on his chest, his tone was flat, but there was a small smile on her face.
“Aaafter al the things I did for you.” Jun says while pretending to cry, hiding his face on Hyunwoo’s shoulder that immediately gets pushed by Geonyeop.
“Go get your own boyfriend then!” Geonyeop stated while resting his hand on Hyunwoo’s shoulder. pulling the other man closer to himself.
Gamin handed Jun the cake, “Don’t sulk, I’ll teach you new technique later.” he said.
Jun grabbed the cake, “ASSA!!” and
Gamin handed the cake to Heewoon, Jiwoo, Hyunwoo and Geonyeop. Everyone went to their usual chair and started eating the cake.
“Is this all?” Geonyeop asks after finishing his cake.
Jiwoo looked at Gamin, “Is there something you want to eat or something you want to do Gamin?” she asked.
“Yeah, we haven’t prepared any gift for you. Let’s do what you want!” Heewoon added while clapping his hand and looking excited.
Gamin staring at them for a few seconds, “There is something I want to do, but promise me you guys not gonna get angry.” Gamin said.
“Why would we get angry?” Sehyun asks everyone.
Gamin looked at Sehyun and then smiled.
“I think I know what this is about.” Geonyeop says that makes the others look at him.
“What?” Jiwoo asked, but Geonyeop didn’t answer, just shrugged his shoulders.
“Just promise you all won’t be angry, okay?” Gamin asks again, taking back the attention all to himself.
Heewon nodded and everyone nodded too.
“Can I spend this day with Sehyun, just the two of us.” Gamin says.
Sehyun just blinked at Gamin, Jun and Jiwoo judging Gamin with his eyes. Heewoon smiled, while Geonyeop just nodded as if saying he knew it would come, while Hyunwoo looked at Gamin with his mouth open.
“In return, I will take you all to the amusement park next week. Let’s all go together and have fun, my treat.” Gamin says again.
“That’s better!” Jtun said.
“You should start with that!” Jiwoo added.
“Amusement park!! I’m in!” Heewon said.
“You promise yoon Gamin!” Hyunwoo added while standing and got ready to leave the room, so did Geonyeop.
Gamin smiled, satisfied with the other reaction.
Jiwoo and Heewon get up as well, “You promise Gamin! Amusement park!” Jiwoo said
“See you tomorrow guys!” Heewon said and left with Jiwoo.
Jun stayed there looking at Gamin and Sehyun. Gamin looked back at Jun, raising one of his eyebrows as if asking what Jun was still doing there. Jiwoo comes back, pulling Jun by his collar shirt, “come with us you idiot!” she says while taking Jun away from the room!
Sehyun was too stunned, but then he came to his senses, “WTF Gamin, you kicked them out?!”
Gamin smiled, then he patted the seat beside him as if asking Sehyun to sit there.
Seehyun stayed still, standing right beside Gamin, he crossed his arms on his chest and looked directly at Gamin.
Gamin can sense that Sehyun was annoyed. So he looked at Sehuyn with his puppy eyes.
“It’s my birthday, can I have something special for myself?” He said while poting.
Sehyun takes a deep breath, his shoulder loosen, and now he looks at Gamin with his soft eyes.
“But still, you can't just kick out everyone like that.” he said with a softer voice.
Gamin stretched his arm and then grabbed Sehyun's waist, pulling him closer, “I'll make up with them later.”
Sehyun took out a deep breath, “Okay then, it's your birthday anyway.” he said and Gamin smiled, resting his head in Sehyun's stomach.
Sehyun hugged Gamin back, patting Gamin’s head constantly. Suddenly, Gamin pulls himself from Sehyun. He looked up with his big brown eyes, “Hyun-ahhh, can I ask for a kiss?”
Sehyun smiled, He took his hand from Gamin’s head and then cupped his face, “Of course.”
Sehyun leans down and kisses Gamin’s lips, soft and fast, then he stands up again and squeezes Gamin’s face, “Such a cute little baby.”
But Gamin kept looking at Sehyun's eyes with his dark eyes. Suddenly, he pulled Sehyun down so now Sehyun is sitting on his lap.
Sehyun was a little bit startled, but he managed to control himself, holding on Gamin’s shoulder to steady himself. He felt Gamin hand on his waist, warm and secure.
“I mean, the proper one,” Gamin says with shining eyes behind his glasses.
Gamin leaned his face toward Sehyun, his move slow and steady, as if giving Sehyun a chance to stop him, to run away. But, who is Sehyun to deny it, when his handsome boyfriend looks at him with so much desire? How can he say no, when he himself had been waiting for this.
Sehyun closes his eyes, feeling Gamin’s warm lips on his own, soft and wet. Sehyun’s hand grip on Gamin’s cardigan, tight and firm, holding on it like his life depends on it. He can feel sweat running through his palm, and blood on his veins. But, the feeling of Gamin’s lips on his own overshadow all those feelings.
Gamin moves his lips, slow at first, it drives Sehyun crazy. The slow movement makes him feel the texture of Gamin lips, making him wonder how it feels if those lips touch other parts of his body. His hand clinging more on Gamin’s cardigan, Sehyun knew it was gonna make it tangled, but he didn’t care, definitely not his number one priority right now.
Gamin moves slowly, becoming faster, deeper, more demanding. Sehyun can feel Gamin grip on his waist become tighter. Gamin pulled him closer to himself, erasing every gap between them, feeling their chest touched. His other hand goes to Sehyun’s neck, keeping him steady, caving Sehyun so he will not be able to go away.
Sehyun let go of his grip on Gamin’s cardigan. His hand moved slowly, circling both of his arms on Gamin’s neck, aligning Gamin’s move to erase their gap.
The kiss became sloppy, the sound of their mouths crashing filling the room and Sehyun’s head was spiraling, dizzy, longing for air, yet he had no plan to stop.
As if he can read Sehyun’s mind, Gamin pulled himself, just a little so both of them can breathe. In those bright moments, Gamin took out his glasses and put them on the table. Then, without warning he catches Sehyun's mouth again.
Gamin move was rough, fast, uncontrolled. Sehyun tried his best to match Gamin move, lifted his head so it’ll be easier for both of them, catching a breath in between their crush, feeling Gamin hand holding him tighter.
They kiss like it will be their last time seeing each other, like there is no tomorrow to catch, like it will be their last chance.
The air turned hot in the room. Nothing else moves, but Gamin and Sehyun mouth. The whole world becomes blurred, nothing else matters, just the warmth of Gamin’s breath, the softness of Sehyun’s lips, the strange feeling on both of their stomachs.
In the small room that was only filled with their breath, all Gamin thought about was Sehyun, and all Sehyun wanted was Gamin.
Right after Sehyun was about to lose his mind, he pulled himself from Gamin. Both of them panting, breathing, trying to catch the air. Sehyun refused to lose the warmth of Gamin's breath, so he put his forehead on Gamin.
“That was amazing.” Gamin said while smiling, a smile Sehyun cannot see because he is closing his eyes, “Can we do it again even if it's not my birthday?” he added.
Sehyun laughed, then he put his head on Gamin’s shoulder, leaning on the one who made him lose his mind, “emm, we can.” he said with his soft voice.
Gamin stroking Sehyun’s back.
Sehyun shifts his head, looking for a more comfortable position, “I have a gift for you.”
Gamin looked down, trying to see Sehyun's face, “A gift.” he repeated.
Sehyun lofted his head and sat properly, facing Gamin face again. He nodded while looking right into Gamin’s eyes.
“But, it's not something expensive, just some bookmark I made by myself.” he smiled hoping that Gamin wouldn't see his insecurity.
Gamin smiled, then he lifted one of his hands and touched Sehyun's cheek.
“Hyun-ah, everything you gave me was precious. It will be the most pricey thing in my life, because it was made by you, for me. It will be the most important thing in my life.” He said.
Sehyun smiled, knowing that Gamin would never disappoint him.
“Besides, I already got the best gift anyway.” Gamin added.
Sehyun frowned, “What is it??”
“You.”
Sehyun can feel his blood running faster inside his vein, even faster than the time they kissed.
“You are the best gift I have ever had in my life. Thank you, Kim Sehyun, for coming into my life.”
Gamin smiled.
Sehyun can feel his face become warm. He leaned his head on Gamin's shoulder again, trying to hide.
“You are so sappy.” Sehyun murmured.
Gamin laughs while patting Sehyun back again.
Both of them stay still for a while, enjoying the silence and the warmth of each other's presence.
“Should we do the main course?” Gamin asked.
Sehyun gets up immediately to see Gamin's face, “What is the main course, you wanna do something else?” Sehyun asks, hoping, wanting, exciting.
Gamin smiled again, his usual gummy smile, “Studying.”
Sehyun blinks at Gamin for a few seconds, trying to process what he hears, or if Gamin really means it. Then he laughed, loud and cranky.
“You wanted to study, on your birthday?”
Gamin nodded, enthusiastically, that Sehyun had no heart to laugh again.
“Emm, I wanted to study with you, just with you, like the time when there were only the two of us.” Gamin says again
Sehyun feels his heart filled with a warm feeling, something only Gamin can do.
“Alright, let's study then.” Sehyun says while trying to stand up, but Gamin holds his waist, forbidding him to move.
“You said you wanted to study, let me go.” Sehyun says while trying to push Gamin’s hand.
“Let's study like this,” Gamin says again, still holding Sehyun's waist.
“How do we study like this???”
Gamin moved Sehyun's body, made him face the table while still sitting on Gamin’s lap. Then Gamin put his head on Sehyun's shoulder.
“We can study like this.” Gamin said with a bright smile on his face.
“No we can't, how are we going to concentrate in this position??” Sehyun said while shifting his head so that he can see Gamin’s face
Gamin pulled himself from Sehyun’s shoulder and moved back a little so that Sehyun could see him clearly. He pouted his mouth and attacked Sehyun with his sad eyes.
“You can't always go away with anything using your beautiful brown eyes, Yoon Gamin.” Sehyun said half laughing knowing he will give up anyway.
“Pleaseee…. hyun-ahh….”
Sehyun no longer had any will to fight his boyfriend. He can just smile and nod.
“Alright, alright, let's do this, get your glasses.” he said and Gamin obeyed immediately.
Gamin got his glasses and they started studying. Gamin asks and Sehyun explains whatever it is. all of it while leaning his head on Sehyun’s shoulder, sometimes kissing Sehyun's cheek, or holding Sehyun's hand.
Sehyun didn’t mind, it's his birthday anyway and Gamin deserves all the love from this whole world.
They stayed in that position for 10 minutes, before Sehyun snapped and forced Gamin to let him sit on his own seat.
This time Gamin surrendered, he let Sehyun sit beside him and they continued the study session.
But, Gamin never gets his hand out of Sehyun. He holds Sehyun’s hand, sometimes kisses it. When Sehyun got angry because it was hard for him to write, Gamin let go. But, then he will hold it again. repeat
They keep repeating the circle and then get lost in their own mind.
“If you can solve the rest of the questions without holding my hand and kissing it, I'll let you kiss me again like before.”
Gamin froze, then he let go of Sehyun's hand, holding his pen and then focused on the question. He had a goal to achieve.
