Soonyoung leaned back in the passenger seat, looking at the night sky through the window for a second before back at Wonwoo, who was driving, opening his mouth to say something but was cut off…
“-We’re almost there…”
Silence fell among them…
“How’d you know what I was going to say?!”
Soonyoung sat a little straighter, looking at Wonwoo with a slight smirk, a little taken aback…
Wonwoo just shrugged, glancing over at him before back onto the road, resting his free arm on the arm rest between them, smiling very softly…
“…I just know you that well, love…”
Soonyoung rolled his eyes but it obviously wasn’t meant in a rude way, leaning back in his seat, grinning as his eyes turned into crescent as they always did every time he smiled…
“…So how’d you find this place, huh…?”
Wonwoo glanced back at Soonyoung for a second again, looking back at the road, still smiling gently…
“…Hao recommended it… said it was amazing…”
Soonyoung nodded as he looked at the road in front of them, smiling a little, glancing at him for a second,grinning again…
“…you trust him with all those places,don’t you? - I don’t blame you though…he always knows the best places to go”
Wonwoo nodded in agreement, keeping his eyes on the road still having the same soft smile of his face, he seemed genuinely pleased to be able to spend time with him. It was so adorable, Soonyoung had to look away so he couldn’t melt and it wasn’t even close to summer!
Wonwoo immediately noticed how he looked away, becoming a little worried for a second, instantly rethinking about what he said or did, he didn't do anything wrong he thought…
"…You alright…?"
Soonyoung looked back at him as he heard him speak, just smiling softly at him, his eyes still in crescents…
"Yeah? What's up?"
Wonwoo smiled back at him, as he shrugged looking back onto the road, this just proved to him that it was all just in his head…
"…I don't know…I just thought something was wrong…"
He said quietly but it was loud enough for Soonyoung to hear what he said clearly…
Soonyoung then smiled at him softly, before glancing at the screen, showing the directions to the skiing resort, they were almost there. He then remembered how silent it was but it didn't really matter right now…
The silence was always comforting when he was with him…
A few minutes later…
"…We're here, Soonie…"
Soonyoung immediately looked at him, putting his phone away, looking around before opening the car door, getting out of the car. He didn't even notice that they were even there yet, he smiled looking around as he glanced over in Wonwoo's direction, seeing him on his phone still in the car. Soonyoung quickly went to the other side of the car, opening the car door for him, grinning ear to ear as he saw how Wonwoo looked at up at him, looking so soft and gentle…
"You can't just sit in the car the whole day, you know?"
Wonwoo smiled a bit brighter than usual, as he got out of the car, standing next to Soonyoung, as he closed the door behind him,now going over to get their things from the trunk.
Soonyoung walked over to where Wonwoo was, taking the luggage out of the trunk, smiling as he looked at the resort, it looked amazing…
"…you can't lie, the places Minghao picks are always good…"
Soonyoung nodded at what Wonwoo said, still grinning softly as he got both of their luggage's out the trunk, closing the trunk door after he did, glancing at Wonwoo who was just standing behind him, having his arms crossed. He gave Wonwoo his luggage, holding his own, walking towards the entrance of the resort, walking a little ahead of Wonwoo, who was slowly catching up behind him…
Wonwoo looked back at his phone, following behind Soonyoung, just double checking if he really did book them a place, he wouldn't want them to have wasted this time, coming all the way here all for him to have forgotten to even make a reservation for them. He thankfully did reserve them a place, smiling as he glanced over at Soonyoung, seeing him now looking over at him, as they were now at the entrance….
They checked in, now heading to their room, it was better that they rested before starting anything tomorrow…
"What made you want to do this…?"
Wonwoo glanced over at Soonyoung, instantly smiling as if he was shy, looking a little down, which caused Soonyoung to look at him completely confused. Wonwoo just shrugged as he noticed how he was looking at him…
"…Just because…?"
Soonyoung chuckled gently, as he watched Wonwoo go to open the door to their hotel room. Grinning again, as he kept his gaze soft on him. They walked into the room, Soonyoung placed the luggages to a side, just hugging Wonwoo quickly for a second, before patting his back…
"You should rest…You were driving the whole time"
Wonwoo just looked at him quietly, as he nodded, letting him hug him, going to hug him back but Soonyoung let go a bit too quickly, but he knew he was right, he should rest. Wonwoo then just walked over to the bed, taking out the bedding,which was tucked under the mattress for some unknown reason before immediately flopping onto the bed, his head in the pillow…
He must have been really tired, due to how fast he was able to fall asleep. He didn't even remember what Soonyoung was last doing before he even fell asleep…
The next morning…
Wonwoo slowly woke up,glancing over at the clock on the bedside table…
'8:46am'
He shrugged as he sat up, putting his glasses on, pausing for a while, not remembering if he even took them off…
Wonwoo got out off the bed,he just figured that Soonyoung took them off when he noticed it still on him,while he was asleep. He went over to the other rooms, looking around to see where Soonyoung even was, knowing he was awake since he wasn't in bed…
"Wonu! You awake?"
Wonwoo looked over through the door way, seeing Soonyoung sitting at the kitchen counter, just on his phone. He smiled as he walked over to the counter, nodding as he did, but then he was curious if he even slept…
Soonyoung then stroked some stray hairs away from his face as he smiled back at him.
"Slept well?"
Wonwoo nods again, as he looked back at him, looking at his expression to see if there were anything that proved that he didn't sleep…
"Did you sleep at all…?"
Soonyoung chuckled as he leaned against the counter,his eyes turning into crescents again,his hand lingering behind his ear for a bit before taking his hand away…
"Yeah? - also you could've taken the glasses off before you slept, you know?"
Soonyoung said, grinning as he tapped the temple of his glasses teasingly, smiling a little more as he saw Wonwoo roll his eyes at him, knowing he wasn't mad and he was just playing along with him…
"…We should get ready…so we could eat then head out…"
Wonwoo said quietly, as he started to walk back to the room, going to look through his suitcase to see what he could wear for the day,noticing how Soonyoung was following quietly behind him…
As he opened the suitcase, Wonwoo then felt Soonyoung's arms now wrapped around his torso. He glanced behind at him, seeing his head now resting on his shoulder, his cheeks slightly puffed out. Even when Soonyoung seemed slightly taller compared to the average man in Korea , he seems way smaller when it comes to people like Wonwoo and others…
"…You not going to get ready…?"
Soonyoung looked up at him, as he heard Wonwoo speak,before resting his head back on his shoulder.
"…We have plenty of time, It's fine if i stay like this for a little longer…"
Wonwoo smiled a little, as he focused back on the suitcase in front of him, nodding as he listened to whatever he was yapping about…
"…Alright then, Suit yourself…"
He said, as he shrugged a little, causing Soonyoung to look back at him for a second before back at what he was doing…
A while later….
Soonyoung stood near Wonwoo,who was getting them the ski equipment, just looking at his phone before putting it away in his inside jacket pocket, so he wouldn't loose it….
Soonyoung looked up at Wonwoo as he finally got the equipment, smiling at him, as his hair was stroked back due to goggles that rested on top of his head…
"…Here"
Wonwoo handed him his equipment, smiling back at him, before sitting down on a nearby bench, putting on the skis, making sure they were on securely, looking over to Soonyoung who was already done putting on his things, taking the helmet and poles into his hands…
"…You always finish things so quickly, Soonie…"
Wonwoo grinned a little, as he also stood up with Soonyoung, quietly chuckled, as he pulled down his goggles,thank goodness he brang contacts and didn't have to wear his glasses with the goggles…
"…let's go now, hm…?"
Soonyoung chuckled nodding to what Wonwoo said, as they left, going to the ski area, glancing behind him making sure Wonwoo was behind him…
Soonyoung putted his helmet and goggles on, glancing over at Wonwoo who was doing the same, looking at the view in front of them smiling as he did. He took a few steps onto the snow, holding the poles in each hand by his side…
After a few more steps, Soonyoung started sliding onto the snow, glancing behind him at Wonwoo, grinning as he felt the cold air that surrounded the mountains. He looked back ahead of him, focusing on his surroundings, as he glided through the snow, avoiding any obstacles in his way. It was good that they came at a not so busy time where there was barely any people at the area…
The snow underneath his feet, was smooth which made skiing a lot more easier, he looked around him again, doing a parallel turn, looking behind him again, to see if Wonwoo was anywhere to be found. He didn't see him but they both had each other's locations so it'd be fine, instantly turned back around, glancing at the sky for a second as he traversed through the snow, the wind feeling stronger the faster he went…
Eventually, the wind started to become more calmer, as he started to arrive to the end of the line, he successfully pulled the landing, looking around to see where Wonwoo was. Maybe he started to ski later than he thought, taking off his helmet, as he now managed to spot a familiar figure, immediately grinning as he knew who it was…
Soonyoung chuckled as he saw Wonwoo join him at the end of the slope, just grinning, his eyes turning into crescents though not visible due to the goggles but Wonwoo still knew they were there.Wonwoo took of his own helmet off, glancing over to Soonyoung.
"So…?"
Wonwoo instantly smiled once he heard Soonyoung speak, laughing a little, clearing off any excess snow off his skis using the ski poles.
"…It was great, You think the same…?"
Soonyoung immediately nodded, still grinning, as he watched what he did, having one hand on his hip, as he held both of his ski poles in the other.
"Of course I did, we going a few more times?"
Wonwoo nodded, chuckling as he brushed Soonyoung's hair away from his face, before they both head to lifts to go and ski a couple more times…
