“The God of Storytelling happily entered his lover’s domain, practically swooning as soon as he smelled the familiar, comforting scent of flowers and heard the familiar sound of Tony’s music and a very handsome voice accompanying it.”
“Darling!” Thespius exclaimed happily as he heard his lover’s familiar narration. He stopped singing, put Tony aside, and sat up excitedly out of the relaxed, slumped back position he was in while he was making his music.
“The Deity couldn’t help but feel his heart become warm and full as he saw his lover’s excitement at his arrival! It made him feel so happy to see how much he was loved, why, his lover was practically waiting for him like an excited puppy! So Click Clack quickly ran over and with a mighty heave and a LEAP!! Landed next to his darling flower, climbed him a little before happily pressing a kiss on his cheek and saying, ‘Oh, Thespius mine, I’ve missed you soooo much!!’”
Thespius giggled happily at receiving the kiss.
“Oh, honey-bun, I missed you too! Ooh! What do you have there, hun?”
“As much as Click Clack would’ve loved to listen to his beautiful flower’s adorable giggles, the question he asked brought his attention to the slip of paper he was holding, causing him to remember why he came. While he always wanted to be around his handsome hubby, he had a special reason to be there today! Something that he wanted to give his lover… a joke!! A flower joke that he found that reminded him of his wonderful, beautiful Thespius.”
“Oh, a flower joke? For me? Well, then, let’s hear it, hun!” Thespius smiled happily at him.
“The storyteller hesitated for a moment. While he was wooed by his lover’s enthusiasm, he was a little nervous. He wasn’t even sure it’d be funny to his Thespius! Nevertheless, he took a breath and read the paper. ‘Alright… what did the flowers say to each other when they first met?’ He looked up at his lover, waiting for the typical response.”
“What did they say?” Asked Thespius.
“‘They said: Hey bud! How’s it growin’? Heh…’ The Storyteller felt a pot of dread bubbling up in his belly as he didn’t hear a response from his lover. He just stared at the paper, too embarrassed to face his lover after that awful unfunny joke! His mind raced with worries as Thespius still hadn’t responded, when all of a sudden…”
All of a sudden, as if the joke had hit him out of nowhere like a train, Thespius burst into a fit of giggles and laughter. He was practically laughing so hard he was crying!
“Click Clack watched as his darling laughed to the point where tears pricked at the corners of his eyes and his belly began to hurt! Click Clack was surprised! The joke wasn’t even that funny, yet Thespius was acting as if Click Clack had said the most hilarious thing! It certainly left the God confuzzled. Yet… his confusion had quickly melted away as he listened to his Darling Flower’s laughter. It sounded sort of a high pitched giddy little giggle mixed in with a large belly-laugh. Not to mention the fact that he occasionally snorts in between giggles. It was… absolutely adorable to the Storyteller god!”
Thespius’ laughter slowly died down to giggling, to nothing. His face turned a little red.
“You think my… laughter is cute?”
“Click Clack let out a small squeak of embarrassment as he realized his lover heard all that. Still, he wasn’t going to deny it. ‘Yes, of course!’ Click Clack confessed. ‘I find everything about you adorable of course, my dear, but your laughter is music to my ears!’”
Thespius turned even more red. More flowers seemed to bloom in his hair as a goofy, lovestruck smile spread across his face

“Aw, Clicky… you’re too much for me sometimes, y’know that?”
“Click Clack smiled as his lover used a simple yet, favorite nickname of his. He felt a warm, fuzzy feeling in his chest as he saw how happy his most wonderful Thespius was when he heard something that Click Clack adored about him. Suddenly, Click Clack remembered something else. ‘You know,’ He started, ‘If you thought that was funny, I wrote down plenty extra! In case you didn’t find the first one funny.’”
Thespius’ eyes lit up. “Oooh, really?? Well then, lay it on me, honey-bun!”
“Click Clack smiled as he scanned the paper for what corny flower joke to tell next. He grinned, thinking about how happy he and his Chrysanthemum were going to be for the next few minutes.”
