Were a date, right?

Summary:

During a *date* with Gord, Jimmy reflects on his relationship with the rich kid.

Notes:

I have some fanfics of my favorite Bully ships that I'd like to share here. Starting with Jimmy x Gord.

Work Text:

Jimmy hated those dates with Gord.

Datees that took Gord shopping for new clothes at Aquaberry, that made Jimmy sit for hours waiting until Gord chose everything he wanted, and then it was the redhead who had to carry all the bags.

Jimmy couldn't tell the difference between the "baby blue sweater" and the "turquoise vest," but Gord could, so Hopkins learned to just say things like "You look great in everything you wear," it wasn't a lie, and that made the Vendome smile. Jimmy liked Gord's smile.

Gord could spend hours just talking about his clothes, about how well he dressed, and well, Jimmy might even get a little annoyed, but he was always the one at the door of Harrington House with flowers stolen from the girls' dormitory garden and an Aquaberry sweater just to flirt with the prep.

Gord loved to brag about his money, as did everyone in his group, and of course he made sarcastic comments about Jimmy, but the redhead didn't care; he responded in kind, that's how their relationship worked.

The prep wasn't bad… okay, he was far from a saint, but who in Bullworth was? Pete? Maybe. But Jimmy wasn't the most polite and kind guy in the world either, but the truth was he tried very hard to be more sentimental with his boyfriend.

Boyfriend… Were they a couple? They kissed, slept together, went on dates, and walked hand in hand through the school. Actually, Jimmy couldn't remember the last time he'd kissed anyone other than Gord. But the request had never been formal.

“Gord?”

“Yes, darling?”

“Will you go out with me?”

The question caught Vendome by surprise; his expression was as if Hopkins had asked the most obvious question in the world.

“I thought we were already dating!”

“Now we are, officially.”

They remained silent until Gord kissed his now-boyfriend on the cheek.

“You’re going to carry the bags for me, aren’t you?”

Jimmy rolled his eyes; of course he would.
