_Tai whispers to you: come to 458 1273
You whisper to _Tai: why
_Tai whispers to you: surprise
You whisper to _Tai: i swear to god if this is another trap
_Tai whispers to you: just come
Judelow sighed and muttered under his breath, "that fucking guy..."
Digging in his shulker for potions, he couldn't help but hear someone sneaking around him.
He just ignored it because he knew what was coming.
"BOO— ow-" Judelow raised his hand and smacked Sharpness in the face.
Judelow pocketed the potions and stood up, "You know that'll never work, right?"
"It doesn't hurt to dream though," Sharpness said, pressing his hand against his forehead.
"...It kinda did with the way your hiding your forehead."
Sharpness chuckled, "Forget about that. Where are you going anyway?"
"Going to meet up with Tai. Probably trynna pull a trap again like yesterday."
"Can I come with you? I kinda need a kill cus I'm at +3." Sharpness peeked at the chest, the neatly stacked items there tells him a lot about Judelow.
"Clingy ass." Judelow laughed, "Nah, he'll be too scared."
"Fine, fine— who are you calling clingy!?" When Sharpness looked back up, Judelow's already up the stairs. "Motherfucker!"
-
It's getting very hot despite being in the plains, maybe because it was noon.
Judelow wiped the sweat off of his forehead and continued on.
In the distance, was... a deser— was Tai trying to die!?
Either way, he pushed on.
Even when he could see particle waves in the distance.
Even when his legs are giving up.
It should be fine. He has around 4 traps near here.
The sand crushed underneath his sole and he officially entered the desert. His shoes were beginning to heat up, the discomfort being debilitating.
"Fuck this is a bad idea... I'm turning back." His lungs were on fire and his energy was low.
As he stumbled back into the plains, a player in the distance spotted him and began ranning towards him.
Unsheathing his sword, he stood his ground. His head ached.
They had potion particles around them, so Judelow splashed his potions as well. Immediately after splashing fire resistance, he felt slightly better, but still not enough.
"Tai, what is this!?"
Tai lunged forward and swiped at Judelow's neck, to which he barely dodged. He splashed another potion under their feet.
Judelow fought back, stabbing Tai in the stomach which he dodged to the side. He swapped to his axe and lodged it in his hip.
Pulling it out roughly, he swiped at Tai's eyes just to miss, causing him to get his upper chest slashed at and kicked to the ground.
Everything felt like it was spinning— this isn't normal.
Before Tai could attack again, Judelow pulled out a crossbow and shot his shoulder.
He can't run.
His legs couldn't move— he can barely stand up.
"What the fuck..." Judelow tried to pick himself up, until Tai lifted him up by his collar and pointed a sword at his neck.
Judelow could barely do anything, let alone register what's going on.

"What do you— want, Tai," Judelow spoke weakly, trying to get out of his grasp but to no avail.
"Man, I didn't even trap you, I thought you not being heat resistance was a myth."
Judelow's mechanical bunny ear twitched, and went limp. It's heating up terribly. He can barely hear anything other than the ringing in his ear.
It doesn't help that he wears long sleeves and pants.
"...You splashed a weakness potion on me didn't you?"
"Wow Mr. Obvious, took you long enough."
...
it's so hot.
...
"Aren't you gonna kill me?"
"I'm waiting for your weakness to wear off. I want a proper fight. But since I'm also injured..."
Tai slashed at Judelow's leg, causing him to hiss in pain. A deep gash surfaced. If they fought, Judelow would 100% lose in this condition.
"What is your problem!?"
"Just to make it even. What, you want another one?" Tai pointed the sword back at his neck.
If he was an actual animatronic he might've died right here and now.
He could only hear his own breathing, his own heartbeat. He's helpless.
You whisper to conexion: where r u pls huery
... This is a terrible death. He'd rather die via stalagmite.
He can tell Tai is losing his grip too.
Just a bit longer.
Since when were they in the desert again?
This is bad. He's gonna pass out before the weakness wears off.
Judelow wasn't usually panicked— or it didn't look that way most of the time, but right now he physically can't fake it anymore.
Just a few more seconds, Sharpness is coming.
His lungs are still burning, and he can barely breathe.
"Sharpness..."
Tai scoffed, "Calling out to your little boyfriend? He's not coming. I made sure he's busy on his way here."
"Tai, I'm gonna fucking pass out."
"Oh."
"if that's the case, I'll just kill you right here." The tip of Tai's sword dug into the side of Judelow's neck, deeper, and deeper.
"The fuck—" He squirmed around, trying harder to push himself out of Tai's grip.
Tai's so goddamn slow. It hurts like hell.
All of a sudden, Tai let go of Judelow's collar as he rolled on the ground.
Judelow stayed there, motionless. He stared at the blazing sun. The sun stared back.
The last thing he hears is, "You bitch. Hands off!"
-
"You bitch. Hands off!" Sharpness' heel dug into Tai's chest as he pointed a crossbow at him.
"Where's Noob!? I didn't see a death message!"
"Knocked 'em out with a pommel," Sharpness exclaimed proudly, "What, you want the same treatment?"
"Waitwaitwait let's talk! Let's not resort ro violence just yet!" Tai put his hands up in surrender.
"You clearly resorted to violence back there, what's the difference?"
"Well—"
"Don't care!" Sharpness shot the crossbow straight on Tai's head, knocking him out.
_Tai was shot by conexion
Tai's body began dissipating as Sharpness looked back at Judelow. He's lying on the ground completely limp, but he's not dead yet.
"Shit..." Sharpness rushed to his side, and slung Judelow over his shoulder. "Damn your heavy."
Scanning the enviornment, he sees a nearby cave where he drags the unconcious body over as the sand dragged underneath his feet.
Sharpness laid Judelow down and took out some water to clean out the wound that had sand stuck on it.
"Okayokay, Judes stay with me. You awake?"
Judelow shifted uncomfortably, his eyes are still shut, but he moves to take off his ears.
"Nah bro, stay still, I'll take it off." Sharpness swatted his hand away and took it off for him. The metal was extremely hot, to the point it might fry the thing Judelow probably worked very hard to make.
"It hurts.."
"I know, I know. Just a bit longer." Sharpness tried to find some cloth in his inventory, but there was none.
"Sharpness..." Judelow's hand grabbed on to his wrist, though without any force.
With no other choice, he ripped off the bottom of his shirt with his teeth because his hand was occupied, wrapping it around the deep gash in his thigh.
He ripped another off his sleeve and drenched it in water, placing it on his forehead.
"Your so hot."
"Thank you," Judelow mumbled, smiling. Hid speech was a bit slurred.
"Not like that. Bro your in the midst of a heatstroke and still trynna get compliments." he cupped Judelow's cheek, which was abnormally warm.
"Only from you."
Sharpness just ignored him. It was bullshit anyways.
Another fabric from his other sleeve was ripped off to wipe off the excess blood from open wounds to bandage later.
"I'm gonna lift you up now, okay? We're going back to your base."
"...Our base."
Sharpness chuckled, "Yeah sure, our base."
Judelow isn't usually this fond of showing affection... he's just inebriated. He'll go back to normal once this is over.
Sharpness likes this version of the trapper.
-
Sharpness dug a hole under the base and placed a bed down.
Laying him down, Sharpness went to work immediately.
"Here, can you sit up?" His voice was gentle, unlike all the other times they'd talked.
Judelow nodded his head and pushed himself up, his eyes still half-open. Albeit, it was a bit of a struggle.
"Okay I need you to drink this milk, and I'll fix your wounds, okay?" He nodded again, taking the bucket of milk and brought it to his mouth, spilling a few drops. Sharpness helped stabilize him as he drank it.
"You feel better now?"
"Yeah, the weakness wore off mostly."
Sharpness handed Judelow a piece of cloth wrapped around ice.
"Great, you can talk too. That'll make my job harder." Sharpness unwrapped the cloth on Judelow's leg, and cut the fabric around the wound. He then sprayed the saline solution over the wound.
"Fuck— that hurts."
"That's gonna happen two more times, buckle up." Cleaning it up with gauze, he took a needle and threaded the string through it. Then slowly inserted it in a shallow part of his skin. "Does that hurt?"
"Nah."
Sharpness nodded, continuing to do his work.
"I never knew you were good at this stuff," Judelow pointed out, his breathe finally evening.
"I'm one of the best on this server for a reason. They kinda call me the walking infirmary."
Judelow giggled, "They do not call you that."
"Yeah, you don't either. But you know what you should call me?" Sharpness cut the string after he finished sewing.
"What?"
"Beautiful."
Judelow hummed, "That's pretty smooth."
"Thank you, I pride myself on that." Sharpness spread a thin layer of vaseline on the wound and wrapped it in bandages. "Okay! Ready for some more saline spray?" Sharpness picked up the spray bottle again and pointed it at him threateningly.
"Wait— at least warn me first!" Judelow tried to back up even though he was already against the wall.
"Okay. Get ready I will spray saline and it might hurt."
"That's better— ow!" Judelow's hand subconciously shot up to cover it, but stopped himself. "Didn't even let me finish my sentence.."
Sharpness clicked his tongue, "Ah shit.. I forgot to remove the fabric around the wound... you don't mind taking off your shirt do you?"
"...Is there any other option?"
"I mean if you wanna commit public indecency with a circular hole in your chest then yeah, there is another option."
Judelow sighed and took his shirt off with a bit of help from Sharpness.
After cleaning it up properly, Sharpness asked Judelow to sit up to wrap the bandage around his upper chest.
Sharpness leaned in, to the point Judelow csn feel his breath on his skin.
"Your so close to me, and for what?"
"Gotta make sure I don't make any mistakes, you know?"
"...That's probably the most unbelievable lie I've heard."
"Oh I see how it is. I'm so close to you because I'm sooooo in love with you and theres no point in leaning in close I just wanna do this," Sharpness said very sarcastically.
"That's better."
"Your heart beated faster when I say that."
"...Touché."
Judelow yawned, putting his hand over his mouth.
"We should team up next season too. We're lowkey dominating."
"It's just a temporary alliance."
Sharpness stuck a square bandage on the wound on Judelow's neck.
Judelow chuckled, "Temporary my ass! We— yes we both know your lying. What temporary alliance would involve saying," Judelow cleared his throat and spoke in a high voice, "You bitch hands off!"
"Okay— no, what!? I," Sharpness' face flushed, "tell me you wouldn't do the same."
"Well yeah, but I'm not gonna say it like that."
"Your the one who was literally begging me to come to your coords. You know how I'd kill to hear you say please?" Judelow's eyes widened as he tried to fight back, grinning wildly.
"You'd kill—"
"You know what, I'm gonna be the bigger man, and stop arguing with a disabled person."
"Okay wai—"
Sharpness plugged his ears, "Lalalalala I can't hear you!~"
"Your such a bitch!" Judelow mocked, referencing their meeting with the dripstone.
"A disabled person also needs some rest, so I will be leaving." Sharpness got up and left, but before Judelow could say something, he was already climbing up the ladder.
Sharpness felt reassured at the least.
-
Judelow checked the time on his watch. 0:13, midnight. He just woke up.
He tried to sit up despite the pain, and lit a torch to make sense of his surroundings. It felt terrible, but he couldn't do anything about that.
Beside him was his mechanical ears and his shirt, fully sewed together and neatly folded.
Taking it out, it seemed recently cleaned as well with the detergent smell.
Picking up the mechanical ears, he couldn't help but realized the ribbon was gone. Looking a bit closer with the torch, he realized the ribbon was tied in the shape of a heart.
...
He put on both the shirt and his ears, tying the ribbon around his ear again. Immediately when he powered it on, he could hear footsteps and... sizzling upstairs?
Sharpness slid down the side of the ladder like a pole, holding a bowl.
"Oh your awake, good!" Sharpness went up to Judelow and gave him the wooden bowl. "Here ya go, you need some zinc."
"Damn you know how to cook too?"
"It's just chicken noodle soup, nothing much."
Judelow took a sip, flinching after he burned his tongue.
"Careful Judes, fresh off the stove." Sharpness took another bowl out of his inventory, and sat beside Judelow's bed.
"Yeah yeah I know." Judelow shivered, "where'd the insulation I placed here go?"
"Oh, yeah I removed them. Helps with the heatstroke."
"Wow how chivalrous of you Sharpness, but we are bordering a snow biome, so next time you come here I will have hypothermia."
Sharpness shrugged and took a sip, "At least it's not a heatstroke. You survive cold a lot better."
"Yeah— how the fuck do you know!?" Judelow took a bite of the chicken, it was pretty good, but nothing praise-worthy.
"Lucky guess." He'd been observing Judelow from far away.
Judelow finished up the bowl and looked back at Sharpness while he ate.
"Was your sleeve always ripped?"
"Nah, I had to use it to wrap your wounds. Look how much I do for you." Sharpness showed the bottom of his shirt that was ripped too.
"Huh, adds to the homeless vibe I guess."
Sharpness chuckled, "Your the one that insisted on this being our base."
"I was completely at your mercy— you could've left me there dying if I didn't say that."
"Damn you barely trust anyone. Would've saved you either way."
"Mhm, sure... By the way, can you get me a blanket or a jacket of sorts?"
Sharpness nodded, leaving and climbing up the ladder.
Sharpness looked through the chests. No wool, no cloth of any sorts— and he easn't planning to give up his own again.
Climbing back down, he saw Judelow tampering with his bunny ears.
"So bad news, no wool or extra clothes, and even worse news, I'm not planning to kill sheep 500 blocks out."
"Fuck... what am I supposed to do now?"
"I dunno, get hypothermia?" Sharpness shrugged, "Not my problem anymore."
"Wait— you don't have a bed either right?"
"Yeah, but I don't sleep often."
"You can sleep with me," Judelow pitched. That sly bunny knew what he was doing.
"Yeah. No. I'm going." Sharpness began heading out, maybe a bit too fast to be composed, but as he was about to climb up the ladder, he heard a thud!
Behind him was Judelow knelt down, in pain as he tried to stand up, but failing.
Sharpness rushed over, "Oh my god— you dumbass! Are you trying to open up your wound?"
"Nah, but I'm cold. Are you not?" Those magenta eyes stared back at him, no discomfort in sight.
"Yeah, but I just deal with it— bro sit up."
Judelow climbed back on the bed, "You don't want to be warm?"
"And how exactly are you planning to do that?" Though, he already had an inkling of an idea. Judelow leaned forward— rather hesitantly, and hugged Sharpness, he just accepted it.
...
The wind whistled upstairs.
It's warm. Comfortable.
He hugged Judelow back.
The torch light crackled in the background.
...
"So? Change your mind?" his voice muffled in the shoulder of Sharpness.
Sharpness smirked, "say please."
"Fuck you. No."
"Nah say it, your the one who called me clingy."
...
Judelow held him tighter.
In the quiet room, he could hear Judelow mutter, "Please." Begrudgingly, of course.
He shrugged, "Good enough for me."
Sharpness laid down alongside Judelow, squeezing themselves in what little space there is on the bed. Judelow pressed his face into the crevice of his neck, and hooked his leg around Sharpness'.
They had wood and coal— they could've made a campfire.
...
It doesn't matter. This is better.
Sharpness planted a kiss on Judelow's forehead, and closed his eyes.
The world stayed still for them that night. It never seemed to move when it's them anyways.
