Work Text:

"Where's Graves?" Moash asked, glancing around the tavern's private room they'd reserved.

"Busy. It'll just be me updating you today."

"I was hoping to talk to him about convincing Kaladin." Moash frowned and sat down at the table. Danlan sat stiff and proper, like always. How different she became when she stopped playing appearances.

"You need to give up on him. He's a liability."

Moash scoffed. Like a lighteyes would understand.

Danlan continued into her brief on the current situation, but Moash was having a hard time listening. He'd promised Kaladin he'd stop these meetings, but storm it, he needed help to convince Kaladin they were right. It was starting to lose him sleep.

"Moash." Danlan suddenly snapped her fingers, startling him back to the room. "You're too important to our plans to be distracted."

Moash tried not to preen. Danlan sighed, leaning an elbow on the table.

"Do you remember last time, when Graves was late?" Danlan asked, almost too innocently.

"Yeah," Moash eyed her. Last time, Danlan had made it explicitly clear that was "one time stress relief" and she was above people "like him". Hadn't stopped her from demanding that Moash keep fucking her on that table until she came a third time. "What about it?"

"I need you focused," Danlan reached out, resting a hand on his inner thigh.

Moash raised his eyebrows. Danlan's hand drifted higher, and Moash let her, spreading his knees wider as her warm hand rubbed him through his trousers.

"Funny way of keeping me focused," Moash grunted.

"Consider this an … extension of our agreement."

She had a point. He could use the break, and if he was going to get used by a lighteyes, he might as well use them back. Moash smiled, reaching out to brush her hair back. "Alright."

Notes:

"This is definitely just to get Moash's focus away from Kaladin and back on the Diagram, and not because I kinda want to fuck him again," Danlan thinks to herself
