At Forks High school, Edward was about to go into the school. Until he heard what was in that kid Mike’s mind.
fuck Bella is really good at this. I don’t think I can last.
Edward couldn’t believe was Bella cheating on her with a kid like that... He was confused yet couldn’t stand it. he ran off to a meadow. He needed to be alone for a while to think about things. Just hearing what mike was thinking made him sick. If Bella was cheating on him with Mike than why did she want to be with him? Was it because he was not human? To prove her friends wrong that he shot down every girl that asked him out? His looks? He sat down in the grass and wildflowers. He wishes he could cry. But tears won't come out. He was upset, pissed and betrayed all at once. He couldn’t believe her and they were going to get married. Edward knew he had to call off the wedding and leave her. But to make sure that Bella was cheating on him was true. He went back to the school and followed Mike’s thoughts Which lead to an old classroom none used. He stands close enough to see them. He fucking knew it. Bella was cheating on him. Seeing Bella being fucked by Mike. He ran back off. He kept running until the pain in his chest was so hard to bare. When he stopped running, looking around and realized he was at the LA push. Falling to his knees and curled up. Wanting to die actually. Feeling Bella just used him as a chew toy. Jacob may have treated him like a leech but he was better than Bella. Wait why was he thinking that all of a sudden.
Cullen gets off our land.
Looking up to see the reddish carper brown wolf,” Why don't you just kill me?” he asked the wolf
Because of Bella. She would be upset.
“yet she doesn’t care at all...I found her cheating on me with that Mike kid....” He muttered.
He moved closer slowly then nudge him.
I didn’t know...but still not a reason to die...
“Mutt I want to die because I have none to live for...I will never find my true love..” He said and looked up at him,” I loved her and she just used me.......I was going to marry her...”
That’s why I stopped loving her...She is selfish... But, You can't just say you will never find someone you belong with. Soulmates are always out there.
"Well, clearly fate has different plans for me. Look at my Family everyone as someone who they adore. then there is just lonely me."
You may think that. But, you be surprised how much trial and error there is before you find the true One. Sam and Leah use to be together. But then Sam met Emily, yes it's a mess still. But It takes a lot of time, even if it takes years. Heck for you guys maybe a thousand. But, don't focus on it now. Let them come to you naturally. You will know when the time comes. And it will.
"Thanks, Jacob. I really needed to hear that."
Well, I am going to be here if you need someone to talk to besides your family.
"Why are you being nice to me again? You know you don't have to because of the treaty..."
I know...But, I just want to be your friend. you seem like you really need one. even if we are supposed to be enemies
"hm... yeah I would like that. I love my family but they can't be trusted with certain things."
same thing with the pack. If they found out anything embarrassing they use the living hell out of it as blackmail.
"I know you might be on patrol but I rather talk to you as a person than in your wolf form."
oh, I'm not. I was on a run. give me a moment.
The copper colored wolf walked behind some trees before Jacob stepped out in his human form fixing his shorts. He walked back over to Edward with a slight smirk.
"better?" he asked in his low soft tone.
" yeah. and I don't think your pack will like hearing you talking to me." The cold one said with a slight chuckle.
"Nah everyone is busy doing something. none is on patrol usually this time. it's the best time really to clear my head." the wolf shifter said as he ran his fingers through his short black hair.
Edward nodded and looked up at the sky, " I know the feeling. I can't really help read peoples thoughts. and my family can be very loud when I want to hear myself think. "
"Wanna go sit on the beach and just chill?" he asked with a bit of cheer in his voice.
"Yeah. I would like that." He said as they both walked down to the shore, where there was a big enough rock for the two to sit at.
They were just sitting there talking about what should happen with Bella. Then they started to ask each other questions until it was getting time for when school was about to get out. Giving the two enough time to head back to the Cullen's house. Edward wanted to get rid of the things that Bella either left of gave him. When their fingers touch while going through the pictures. Jacob looked up to have his eyes met with Edwards. They stayed like that as if time itself as frozen. Giving Jacob a line of visions. He knew very well now was not the best time to bring it up to the other. He cleared his throat as he moved his hand away.
" Want me to go with you to confront Bella or do you wanna do it alone?" He asked as he fought the urges that slowly started to form.
"Well, I was kinda hoping you would wanna come along. My family doesn't know what happens and you know her as well as I do." Edward said in a slightly nervous tone.
"alright. Lead the way." He said as he placed the last thing into the box.
