Somebody To Hold Norm Maclean X Reader

Summary:

A small fluff intimate blurb that is so vague it could also be read as a curvy fem reader. It was originally written for an OC but it never mentions her name or specific looks beyond her curviness. Norm finds solace in a new and warm embrace

Work Text:

He buried into her further than he ever thought possible. Norm was like if the word rigid had been turned into a person. At least that's what he used to think of himself. But having almost died and then having to recreate himself as a new manager it was different. And now he was reborn yet again topside, emerging from his small insignificant life into the great huge world.

He wasn't rigid now, shedding that skin as much as he could manage, desperate to be free of it. Somehow holding her made that feel easier, like sinking into all of her possibility made him new again. All this felt like hopeless romantic poetry he would never have the pluck to say to her. So instead he burrowed in deeper into her plush curves.

She was larger than him, most people were. And that always felt like a bit of a barrier, if he were a taller more encroaching man then maybe he'd have more respect, albeit subconsciously. But this was different, her size didn't make him think of his own. If anything he was incredibly glad for it for once. It allowed him to disappear into her in a very intimate way. Besides she wasn't particularly tall no more than 2 inches above him.

But she was fully set, well rounded and fully figured. On top of the old mattress on the ground she was his own cushy pillow. She had managed to get fatter having done well with her diet, living a good life on a caravan and having the luck of genetic endowment. Every bit of her body that his arms and face could sink into was like heaven.

Norm had never considered himself a romantic man, the chance didn't exactly come up in a vault. Nobody would have him and the idea of marrying an arranged person made him sick to his stomach. He had never once considered loneliness beyond more than a simple fact of his life and chose to be happy with his family. But that was still a very human thought and instinct even his calculative brain couldn't calm. If anything he felt emotion stronger than most, but in his own way.

So now that he could actually have a vent for all his waiting romantic urges and need to be touched, it crashed out of him too fast for his words to keep up with. Her hands on him opened his heart up like flood gates and now he chased the high again and again.

His face rested directly between her chest wishing she could be topless so he could feel her skin against his cheeks and the side of his lips. But there was too many around, too unsafe a space to allow for such intimacy. Her heartbeat made up for it as her arms laid around his body, his legs wrapped lazily around hers. He would have almost felt embarrassed to be haphazardly cradled on top of her like this, if it didn't feel so good.

She was fast asleep, leaving him to stay still listening to her breathing and savoring every moment up against her in her arms. If she were awake her fingers would be in his hair and tracing his ear, a feeling he learned fast that he adored and fell apart for in a way he hadn't known about himself. Then again he had never really been touched on the ear before at all.

He had only known her a few, insane and frightening weeks. But as he laid in her comfortable and soothing embrace, he was thankful for it. All while learning just how terrifying it was to find somebody new and to realize how scary it was to fear losing them. His fingers tightened slightly more into the fabric around her arms and hips, desperate to somehow pull closer without her waking. And with a last nuzzle of his cheek into her chest he sighed and tried to will himself to sleep.

Despite being in a wasteland, it was one of the most comfortable sleeps of his life.
