Chapter 1: A journey to home

Chapter Text

ParrotX2 was devastated, why , why , why? Why did wifies had to do this? They could've figured things out, they could've talked about it.

Parrot didn't get him, now, his 'Best Friend' was dead. Everyone else he knew, everyone he could talk to was dead. He doesn't know what to do anymore.

Wifies words haunted him, but he knew he couldn't give up, he wandered around the jungle, making his way back to spawn, in hopes of meeting Theo, his friend. Parrot wasn't sure if he would find Theo, but he went anyways.

After a few days wandering, hallucinations began to hit him, it may have come from grief? Hate? Or something else entirely, but Parrot couldn't careless. He needed to go home, to his potion shop.

Then, night came, Parrot made a make-shift tent from vines and wood, along with moss and some discarded items that were helpful. He fell asleep fast, until he heard, a voice undeniably familiar.

"Parrot ,please."

Parrot woke up in cold sweat, looking around his make-shift tent, his wings covered him in a protective stance, he was shaking, who was that? What was that? His mind must be playing tricks right? The voice sounded like..Wifies, But that's impossible, he's dead. Right?

Parrot shook his head, he shouldn't worry about it. He had to move on, he needs to. He went back to sleep, the cold air rustling the trees, making sounds that made it harder for parrot to sleep, he tossed around often.

Until, he saw him, a hallucination perhaps? But it was undeniably wifies, parrot shot up, his pupils contracting as he looked at the figure across from him.

"Wifies..- I-is that you?"

Parrot asked, his voice shaking, the figure stepped closer, and closer, and closer. But the face was blurry, no matter how close the figure was , Parrot couldn't make sense of it's eyes, like he had forgotten it.

Parrot blinked carefully ,making sure he wasn't hallucinating, but the figure disappeared, Parrot held his breath sharply, his eyes welling up, but he stubbornly refused to let them fall, no matter how hurt he was.

He missed wifies, he missed him deeply, they were bestest of friends, until wifies faked his death, ordered assassins to 'kill' parrot, but before all that, He missed those soft eyes of him.

Tears started falling, he didn't know what to do, he was alone, in his tent, millions of blocks away from spawn. He blamed himself, he started shaking, tears kept falling like a river merged with a raging storm, his eyes was blurry, his memories of wifies soft, gentle and kind eyes were blurry, everything was a mess.

He went back down to his bed, wanting this horrible night to end.

As the sun rises, Parrots back ached, probably because of the horrible bed he had but whatever, today, he was going to continue his journey back to spawn– even if he only had a few carrots left.

He got up and left for the day, traveling around, the journey wasn't easy sure, especially since it was millions of blocks away from spawn, but parrot's devotion won rather than giving up.

A few hours went, he decided to stop and fish, he went and chopped wood, making a campfire, As he chopped the trees, he heard a voice, again?

The voice was faint, but enough for parrot to hear, he looked around, trying to make sense of what the words were, finding nothing he continued chopping.

As he finished, he went near the campfire and started to fish, he looked at his reflection, he saw the tired eyes of his, eyes of someone who has lost people who he cared about, eyes of someone who won't give up easily.

As he was daydreaming, the fishing rod was tugged, showing that a fish has taken the bait, parrot reeled in the fish as fast as he can, and he successfully fished it out, after that, he place the fish in the fire.

Parrot waited patiently, then, in the near distance, he saw a.. figure? What no? That's impossible, he thought to himself, unless it was his hallucinations acting up again, there was no way there's a player here.

Parrot stood up carefully, holding his axe as he went slowly near where the supposed figure he saw, as he drew closer, he saw something that made him drop the axe.

It's was Dean. A former friend of his, but, it's impossible. Dean was dead. As he remembers so, Dean died trying to gather Intel for parrot without parrot knowing, but he was a dear friend of his.

Dean looked behind him, Parrot froze in his tracks, The face he once remembered was blurred, he couldn't remember his face.

"Parrot?"

Dean said, though his voice was distorted.

Parrot took a step back, but tripped on a branch and fell, when he looked back where Dean should've been, he was gone.

And once again, his hallucinations tricked him. Parrot stopped up, slightly shaking as he went back to his campfire, Parrot leaned near the tree, looking in the far distance.

Parrot was walking again, while his face was neutral, though his head was all over the place, not giving parrot peace as for the last 3 days. Not even giving him any time to sleep.

Though parrot could only endure it. Parrot stopped for awhile, leaning against the tree as the wind breezes softly, the cold air felt nothing to parrot as it passes, Parrot buried his head in his hands.

"Are you..okay?"

Parrot snapped his head up, his eyes widen as he saw wifies. Parrot buried his head again, knowing his head was playing tricks on him again, plus with the isolation and having almost no contact with other players drove him a bit insane.

"Parrot? Do you want to talk?" Wifies whispered gently, like nothing ever happened, like no one ever died.

"Your not real."

Wifies chuckled, "I am."

Parrot barely glanced up, "Please, leave me alone.

But the 'Hallucination' persistence was annoying, pestering parrot.

Finally, after 5 minutes of annoyance, Parrot snapped.

"Bro, can you shut up?!" He stood up, annoyance and fatigue written on his face.

Wifies simply stood up, "Make me."

Parrot sighed and walked away, knowing that there was no point in arguing and wasting more time with a hallucination. But it felt real..no, it's not, just keep calm and continue walking.

Then Wifies stepping Infront of parrot, ticking parrot off, he tried to walk through the hallucination, only to fall.

Wifies smiled at him gently as he reached his hand out, while Parrot just looked at him, stunned.

His head racing, that's impossible, extremely. How was– huh??? Why didn't he go through him?? He's only a hallucination right? What??

Wifies chuckled, leaving parrot startled, "Pf-fft.." Wifies helped parrot up, "Surprised?" Instinctively, Parrot walked back, especially since of course, he couldn't forget what wifies did.

"Still mad about what happened?"

Wifies snapped him out, Parrot blinked once. Wifies walked closer, reaching out to grab parrot's wrist.

"don't." Parrot stepped away, flinching, Wifies stopped mid-way, before withholding his hand back, brushing off non-existent dust from his clothes.

"You're supposed to be dead." Parrot whispered,

"But here I am aren't I?"

" I saw the message that you died, don't tell me you faked it again." Parrot clenched his fists.

"And what if I did?" Wifies appeared behind his back, "It's not like you can stop me can you?" his voice dropping to a conspiratory whisper.

"Dude what the hell-?!" Parrot yelped, startled by wifies sudden appearance behind him.

Wifies laughed, " Woah geez man!" He raised his hands in mock defeat.

Parrot scoffed, walking away from the seemingly alive but annoying 'pest', but the 'pest' just followed close behind him, irritating Parrot while he continues to try and ignore him.
