Chapter Text
After weeks of falling for the charm of a streamer that spends half the stream yapping about the Iliad. It seemed like something was beginning to happen, or to change.
In the start you were watching casually, catching a stream some Fridays, watching the VODs if it seemed fun. Yet as time passed things began to become repetitive, compulsive even.
Watching every stream live. Re-watching both old and new VODs. Sleeping peacefully while the sound of Wyatt gambling with scp-914 repeats until the stream ends.
Finally you've lost it. looking at every single social media, waiting for the next stream and being too enthusiastic in chat. It is never enough... you have to have more.
so here we are, staring at the message typed into instagram direct messages, the same message sent on twitter. Nothing more than a cringe "Hi" and a paragraph confessing your embarrassing level of obsession for this creature of a man. Of course, you never would have expected a response. Not even a view. This guy has got to be receiving at least hundreds of messages that he doesn't reply to let alone read.
At least its out of your system, right?
You've never been so wrong. The answer came within an hour. Of course... A simple reply that raised your heart rate when you saw it appear on your screen.
"What?"
At least 5 minutes pass while you sit there just staring at the notification. No way this is actually happening...
Never could anyone have predicted that you would be sitting in your room fangirling over a 30 year old man known for wearing a GAMER hat. God is this so embarrassing. Too late now, as you begin to write a response he likes one of your posts. Great, your account is public and now hes seeing all the stupid photos you've posted after you send the most embarrassing message in the history of planet earth.
This cannot get any worse! Except it does, next thing you know he starts typing again...
