Work Text:
Evan is absolutely glowing. They went out for a real, adult date; suits, candle-light, the whole nine yards. They had wanted to do something fancy for no other reason than the fact that they could.
They were adults, unburdened by children or pets, with a combined income that left them enough money every month to do something special. So they decided to do this. And Tommy was so grateful they did.
Evan looked stunning. He was dressed in a black jacket and black slacks with a white button-up on underneath, the top two buttons left undone so the silver chain he was wearing was visible. Tommy, himself, had elected for an all black get-up, opting to leave the top three buttons of his shirt undone. He was competitive, what could he say?
Before they had left the house, Evan made sure to snap a photo of them in their floor-length mirror, sending it to Tommy while they were in the car. And he had to admit, they looked really good tonight.
The dinner itself was fine, the food wasn’t anything to marvel at. But Evan looked gorgeous in the dark light, the shadows highlighting every curve of his face that Tommy loved so much.
Tommy couldn’t wait to get him home.
His main goal for the evening, though, was to make Evan laugh as much as humanly possible. Evan’s giggles had always been one of his favorite things. Tommy would do anything to hear them — especially since Evan was so embarrassed about them, something Tommy hated.
By the time they asked for the check, the restaurant was practically empty; only a few staff members remaining to clean up. And Evan had said that his stomach hurt from how much he had laughed. Mission: accomplished.
When they’re headed back to the car, leftovers boxed and bagged, Tommy can’t help but pull Evan in close for a long, deep kiss. They’re in the middle of the parking lot, the truck still another ten feet or so away.
“Tommy,” Evan says breathlessly, followed by one of those laughs Tommy loves so much. He goes back in for more, guiding Evan to the truck so he can push him up against it.
Once they’ve finally made it, Evan pulls back enough so he can speak. Tommy just moves his mouth down to his neck, leaving open-mouthed kisses as he goes. “As much as I’m enjoying this, babe, we’re really not in the right place for—“ Tommy hears him take a sharp breath in when he bites at his exposed collarbone.
“Hmm?” Tommy moves to whisper in his ear. “What was that? I didn’t quite catch it.” And Evan laughs again, but this time its headier, deeper, full of wanting. And who is Tommy to deny him what he wants?
So he goes back for more, nipping harder this time, loving the way Evan’s breath hitches every time he does.
Tommy slides a knee between Evan’s thighs, welcoming the grind that Evan immediately starts up. He feels hands crawling up his back before one ends up in his hair, pulling slightly. He moans in response, loving the way it stings.
But Evan’s pulling harder this time, removing Tommy’s lips from the spot on his neck where he was just starting to make a bruise.
“We can’t do this here.” It comes out breathless and Tommy can tell that he doesn’t entirely mean it.
“And why’s that?” He places a hand on Evan’s hip, slowly sliding it up under his shirt. He takes the lobe of Evan’s ear into his mouth, loving the way he can feel him shiver. “It’s late; we were one of the last ones to leave,” Tommy starts to trail down his neck again, unable to resist. “I don’t think I can wait till were home, sweetheart.” Evan whines.
Tommy knew if he busted out the pet-name Evan would be a puddle in his hands, game for anything he suggested.
“Jesus,” he lets out. ”How drunk are you?”
“‘M not.”
“You have to be with the way your willing to do something like this so publicly. Usually that’s, uh, that’s my M.O.”
Tommy just hums in response, starting to move back in, but Evan stops him with a hand on his chest.
“Seriously, babe. We split the bottle. What’s got you so riled up?”
Tommy tilts his head to the side, trying to make it look like he’s really thinking Evan’s question through. To be quiet honest, the only thing he’s thinking about is sliding into him, making the truck shake, causing Evan to make the most obscene noises possible.
“Maybe I’m just drunk on you.”
Evan groans in response, laying his forehead on Tommy’s shoulder. “That’s really cheesy.”
“But you love it.” Evan sighs, lightly shakes his head, and moves to get into the backseat of the truck, opening the door behind the driver’s side, staring at Tommy with one eyebrow raised.
Tommy takes it for the invitation it is and moves back into Evan’s space, kissing him deeply.
“Can’t believe you talked me into this.”
The fondness is so clear in his voice, Tommy knows he’s only teasing. “Of course you can. Just another reason you love me.”
“I swear to god if we get caught…”
“Baby, please, we both know I’m not the reason we’d get caught.” Evan blushes, his cheeks donning a light pink. “Lucky for you though, I had the cab soundproofed.” And that’s got him scrambling inside, eyes wide and wanting.
Tommy smirks, pulling the door shut behind him. Whatever spell Evan has him under, whatever high he’s riding, he never wants to come down.
