“meow meow~~”
A cute little cat has been following this man around the kitchen and bumping its head gently on his legs. Zhanxuan smiles at its affectionate actions, “Xiaowai~ be patience okay? Your meal is almost ready. Let’s wait a bit more…”
A sudden ping! cuts his sentence halfway. As he reaches for his phone, more notifications pop up on it. His smile widens as he reads them.
“Ge! I’m home~”
“Ge~ I put down my luggage!!”
“Zhanxuan!! I changed my clothes”
“Gege~~ I’m coming over~~”
“Zhanmo! I’m downstairs…”
“Zhanzhiwei~ Open the door!!”
“I’m coming”, says Zhanxuan as he rushes to the door. A bundle of joy just crashes into his arms when he opens the door.
“I miss you so much! Zhan! Zhi! Wei!!!” Xuancheng buries himself into Zhanxuan’s embrace and takes a deep breath. “Why do you smell so delicious?” Xuancheng asks, tilts his head and looks at his beloved boyfriend.
The view is way too adorable for Zhanxuan, he can’t help and has to leave a kiss on his forehead.
Xuancheng tiptoes and wants to have more kisses but he gets stopped by Zhanxuan. He pouts and whines, “Why? Gege~ more kisses please~~ I need to recharge~”
Zhanxuan gives him a small peck at the cheek, “Here’s one for now. Dinner is ready, let’s eat while it’s still warm. I can give you more after dinner okay? Xiaowai is hungry too.”
Xuancheng frowns and complains cutely, “Hmmph! I knew it, I’m not the number 1 in your heart. Poor little me, don’t deserve kisses after working so hard~ I’m not your cute little bunny anymore~” He continues to mumble to himself but obediently follows Zhanxuan to the kitchen and helps set the table for dinner.
Zhanxuan is busy serving his kitty and bunny, but still manages to steal some glances at the adorable boy. His heart feels so full, he wishes this ordinary evening can last longer, they will stay like this forever.
After dinner, they played some games on the console in the living room.
Losing 3 games in a row against Zhanxuan later, Xuancheng gives up, throwing the controller aside and sprawls on the sofa. “Ahh.. not fair! I’m tired after travelling on the plane. Where are my kisses that you promised me?”
He sits up suddenly and crawls towards where Zhanxuan is sitting. He skillfully climbs onto Zhanxuan and places himself comfortably on his boyfriend’s lap. Then he puts his arms around Zhanxuan’s neck, scrunches his nose and demands, “Kisses~ now!”
“Yes, my little bunny king! Kisses for you, delivering to you right now!” says Zhanxuan with a big smile on his face. He pulls Xuancheng’s waist towards himself and places a finger on Xuancheng’s chin to lift his face.
The first kiss landed on the forehead, so soft yet protective like he’s kissing a fragile item. Next on the eyes, making Xuancheng’s eyelashes tremble. He pulls back and their eyes meet. He saw himself in the shining eyes of Xuancheng. He has seen this view so many times, but his heart still skips a beat every single time without fail.
Their breaths get heavier as their faces lean closer. The tips of their noses touch just so slightly, they can feel the breath on the skin. Xuancheng blinks rapidly and lifts his head.
Their lips meet. They kiss slowly, softly, lightly like a feather touch. Then the air gets hotter and they kiss hungrier, with desire.
Zhanxuan’s hand on Xuancheng’s waist tightens, another hand reaches to the back of Xuancheng’s head and grabs onto the hair, lingering around the neck.
Xuancheng’s hands have now moved down towards Zhanxuan's chest, grabbing the shirt tightly. The wet kissing noises with occasional soft moans echoes through the room.
Outside the opened windows, the moon gets shy and hides behind the clouds, leaving the stars to decorate the night sky.
Xuancheng leans on Zhanxuan’s shoulder while catching his breath after that long heated kissing session.
“I love you. Xuancheng, I love you.” says Zhanxuan unprompted.
Xuancheng is surprised for a second, then he looks up at Zhanxuan and smiles, “I love yo… your food too. I love your cooking!” He giggles playfully and immediately runs away from Zhanxuan, knowing what will happen to him if he gets caught.
Zhanxuan shakes his head with a smile and runs after Xuancheng. There’s never a dull moment with Xuancheng. He’s not only a ray of sunshine that brightens his life, but also a bunch of bubbles surrounding him, ready to pop at any moment to bring surprises to his life.
Obviously, Zhanxuan caught up to him, and tackled him down on the carpet and tickled him. The playful giggles now become louder and pleading for forgiveness.
“Ge~ ge~ I’m wrong. I’m sorry.”
“Zhanxuan~ Let me go.”
“Zhanzhiwei~~ forgive me, I will do it again.”
Zhanxuan let go of him. Then he is stunned. “Wait a moment… what did you say?” he asks confusedly.
Xuancheng is catching his breath once again but this time lying on the floor, “I said I will do it again!”, and continues to giggle proudly.
Zhanxuan stares at Xuancheng’s beautiful smile for a while, then he too, lies down on the floor, catching his breath. That’s his bunny, so spoiled, so cute, so comfortable with him. How can he love him more everyday, when he thought that he has loved him with all of his heart.
“I love you, ge! Zhanxuan! Zhanzhiwei, I love you.” he hears the whispers in his ear from Xuancheng.
“That’s the reason, of course.”, Zhanxuan thinks with a smile.
Zhanxuan sits up and reaches for his pen and notebook from the coffee table. He turns to Xuancheng, who is still on the floor, and asks, “Little bunny, can you sit here with me? I want to write a song.”
“Uhmm.. What do I get in return?”, Xuancheng asks with his big shining eyes.
“More food, more kisses…”
“Deal!”
Since he made the promise, Xuancheng obediently sits in front of Zhang Xuan beside the coffee table. He places his head on his arms on the sofa armrest, eyes on Zhanxuan, admiring the beauty of his boyfriend. Occasionally, playing with the cat that passes by the living room.
Zhanxuan focuses on writing the lyrics for the song that he composed whenever he misses Xuancheng.
It’s a love song, a cheerful and refreshing love song. He wants to share their love journey from summer till autumn with their fans who have been supporting them.
When he is done with the lyrics, he realizes that Xuancheng has fallen asleep. A quiet Xuancheng is equally adorable. Zhanxuan looks at him lovingly for a while to soak in the warm feelings.
Then Zhanxuan carries Xuancheng carefully into the bedroom. He kisses his hair and whispers, "I'll let everyone know that I'm in love with you, my love”.
