Top notes - character, bottom notes - stand
In fact, almost everyone wants to smell like blood, but I won't write about it every time, just keep in mind that everyone still has the smell of blood.
(P.S. I'm not very knowledgeable about perfumes, so feel free to correct me, you can also offer your ideas for scents)
Bruno Bucciarati
Let's start with the leader. In the top notes, in my opinion, there should be the smell of the sea, Bucciarati is associated with this smell because his childhood was connected with the sea, and he spent about half of his life by the sea. There will also be the smell of some kind of homemade baking, because the surname Bruno is an Italian cookie, and the leader himself, in my opinion, is associated with something homemade.
But I'm honestly not sure about the bottom notes. Sticky Fingers reflects Bucciarati's insight, he can penetrate a person's fate almost without knowing them, we see this when Bruno protected Trish from her father, although this can also be seen in his gang as a whole. His gang consists mainly of disadvantaged teenagers, but despite the fact that this may entail risks, he invites them into the gang, giving them a chance at life, albeit in such a cruel institution, but it really helps them.
However, I don't know what fragrance can reflect this. So you can suggest your option, I would be interested to know.
Pannacotta Fugo
Let's start with something obvious and the first top note is strawberry. It seems clear why this is the choice, strawberry is associated with Fugo because of his strawberry accessories, although his name Pannacotta is a dessert that is often served with strawberries. Although I would even say that the smell of wild strawberries would suit him better, given his fiery nature. The scent of old books would also be suitable. Due to his exceptional intelligence, Fugo spent almost all of his childhood studying, so this smell of books stuck with him for a long time. The smell of milk is also suitable, despite his problems with aggression, Pannacotta is quite caring, I associate the smell of milk with care. The smell of milk also refers to his name again.
The bottom note is the smell of rot. I think there is no need to explain where it came from. Purple Haze reflects pure anger. The main function of stands is to protect their master, but since Purple Haze is a pure negative emotion, its ability is so destructive. At the same time, the virus can kill its user, which indicates that Fugo most likely sees danger in himself. Also, his stand maniacally wants to cleanse itself. Although the manga itself does not give a clear backstory to Fugo, the anime tells that Fugo was corrupted by his professor at university, which is where the stand's behavior comes from. Considering this, it could be the smell of disinfectants, or some other means aimed at cleaning.
Leone Abbacchio
I think the smell of wine would suit Abbacchio. It is quite possible that Abbacchio became an alcoholic because of the incredible guilt over the death of his partner. I would like to say the same about cigarettes, although it was not directly shown that Abbacchio smoked, but I associate smoking with him. Musk also suits him, both in character and in name. Leone is a Lion, and Abbacchio is an Italian dish made from lamb, so his name is associated with something animalistic, and it is precisely this animality that musk gives.
As for the bottom notes, I would say the smell of wet asphalt, or the smell of air after rain. Due to his fixation on the mistakes of the past, his stand - Moody Blues reflects the past. Abbacchio's past was promising until the moment he took that unfortunate single bribe, which ultimately caused the death of his partner. Apparently, after everything that happened, Abbacchio fell into depression, and I associate it with some kind of gloomy weather, or rain. It also refers to the moment when Abbacchio was recruited by Bruno. And also considering the moment of Abbacchio's partner's death, the smell of gunpowder also fits.
Narancia Girga
The first scent will be orange candies. Orange is referring to name, namely candies because I associate them with such a light frivolity that is present in Narancia. I also think there would be a light smell of dirt, considering that he used to live on the street, and in my opinion Narancia does not shy away from dirt. Also the scent of mint. I don't know why but Narancia is associated with such freshness.
Aerosmith on the one hand reflects Narancia's lost childhood (the stand looks like a toy airplane) first due to the death of his mother, then due to street life and betrayal, which caused Narancia's trauma and homelessness, on the other hand the stand reflects that Narancia is not as innocent as it seems at first glance. He can stand up for himself. The radar also reflects how easily the orange gets attached to people. The scent that would reflect his childish side and attachment would probably be cinnamon, and the other side that can stand up for itself would be gunpowder.
Guido Mista
Forgive me, Guido fans, but the main smell will be the stench of sweat. This is a canonically confirmed smell from him, so it would be a sin not to include it. There is also the smell of gunpowder, apparently because of his weapons. It also seems to me that he is one of those people who tries to cover up his terrible smell with deodorant, so along with it there is also a deodorant-like scent with a cucumber smell. Well, this cucumber smell may also refer to his surname Mista, if I'm not mistaken, it is salad.
Sex Pistols is divided into 6 parts, which indicates Guido's versatility, each pistol has its own personality. You can choose your own scent for each pistol, but I'm not sure if I know enough about them to say in more detail which scent will suit whom. However, I am sure that the scents will be deep, like Guido himself, for example, cedar, musk, tobacco, coffee, lavender, honey.
Giorno Giovanna
Let's start with the obvious, this is the scent of flowers. I think there is no need to explain much here. Also, considering Giorno's childhood, it seems to me that there is also the smell of mint chocolate ice cream. It also seems to me that the specific smell of the airport suits him, since he used to work near it, stealing things from tourists.
As for the bottom notes, I think they will also be floral, but they will also be added musky, woody, mossy, in short, everything related to nature. And when I say everything related to nature, I also mean unpleasant smells.
Trish Una
Citrus, in my opinion, will be suitable to reflect the period when the gang took her to the boss. This bitterness is the detachment that Trish showed then. Then her mother had just died - the closest person in her life, and she had already been sent to her father, whom she had never known from the mafia, which is why she was so detached. However, later she opened up to them, and here there are already some sweet notes.
Her stand - Spice Girl softens the objects it touches, so there will be soft aromas like vanilla, cream, and honey.
