It's 3:34, and I don't need no more
You can call it what you want, but I'ma call it dumb
Too much Patron'll have you callin' his phone or
Have you wantin' some more, have you wantin' some more oh
There are things that are good for you, and there are things bad for you. That was an obvious fact everyone learns early on. Something that sticks with you in every decision you make.
What people didnt say is how often those lines blur. They dont prepare you for that until it's too late. It's definitely too late for Daniela to recognize that, especially with the state that she's in.
Sure she learned with time when to cross those lines of good or bad consequences sooner or later. But she's still blind to some of those sometimes. Like right now. Like right now when it feels good in the moment and Dani knows she'll feel like shit later.
She knows she shouldnt have gone out tonight. She knew she should've just come up with a lie. She should've told Sophia she shouldn't have come.
Not when she was showing up. She wasnt supposed to be there. But of course the universe had to throw them together. Dani was doing fine, doing wha she wasnt supposed to and not taking to her. Not contacting her.
But then tonight went how it did. And here she is.
Dani knows she shouldn't be doing this right now. She told herself this part of her life was over, something she had left behind. Cut it off, cut her out.
But things dont always go according to plan. Sometimes you make mistakes, some small, some big. She doesnt know which one right now is. She can figure that out in the morning. She knows she should figure it out now, so she doesnt regret it in the morning. So she can come to her senses and stop.
But her senses are long gone. She's too drunk to focus on how she shouldnt be doing this. She's too drunk on her right now. She knew that she shouldn't have drank anything tonight, or maybe yesterday with what time it was right now.
Maybe the early morning fog in her mind paired with the alcohol was her Achilles heel. Still, she decided to do it. Sh still decided to call her, even though she shouldn't. She'll regret it when she wakes up later. She needs to feel it now.
"You wish I was there huh? Next to you?" Manon's voice hums besides her, phone set near her head as it settled on her pillow
"I already told you that." Dani grits out, trying to refrain from rolling her eyes
"Well I didn't ask then, did I? I'm asking now." Uugh, she's so annoying. Annoyingly hot.
"Yes Manon, I want you here." Dani groans out as she gives into her impulse and rolls her eyes. The covers beneath her dont feel as cold as they first did. She's burning up. Burning up because Manon's voice is in her ear.
"You know why you called me. So do it." Manon is done treading around the boundary and caution tap that Dani had set up. Dani had long walked over it but she was just waiting for Manon to push back, push back and walk to her.
"Dont rush me." Dani mumbles, hand already traveling down to her boy shorts
"I got all night baby." Yeah, Dani should've known this would happen the moment she saw her earlier. She should've have tried to fight ir. She won't now. But she remembers trying to earlier in the night.
...
"Dani, you've been quiet? You good?" Megan's voice makes her feel herseld blink as she stares into the mirror, flat iron in her hair.
To answer Megan's question, no, she is not good. The exact opposite, dramatically so. Not physically, no; what she's dealing with in her head is much worse. She's fine on the outside (well maybe not so much since Megan noticed) but in the inside, she's repeating to herself in her head that tonighg will go terribly. And it was such a terrible time to be not good.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm good. Just excited." To get this over with. But she couldn't say that, not when she had convinced everyone it would be fine. That she had gotten over the big problem that would be there. A big problem that she couldn't avoid even if she wanted to.
The big problem that she couldn't avoid was an obstacle that she couldn't go around because of the special occasion that it is today: Sophia's birthday. Well, she could avoid it if she just said something when it happened, but she didn't. She regrets that big time now; she regrets trying to be the bigger person.
She was trying to be mature, not let it bleed too much into ther separate lives. Because that wouldn't be fair (not that she deserved fair now that Dani looks back at it. But then again, the whole relationship was Dani giving her things she didnt deserve). She shouldnt have. She should've told their friends what it was when it happened.
Instead, she has to stroll in the restaurant and act like she's all cordial with Manon. Yes, the ex situation where you share friends. How lovely. This wouldnt be that much of an issue if Dani had just spoken up and revealed the truth. But again, she was trying to be a good person (and maybe she wasnt as bitter as she should've been when they ended).
So the girls didnt know. The girls didnt know how they had ended. The girls didn't know that they yelled at each for basically the whole day before Manon decided she didn't want to deal with Dani anymore. Dani... not so much. You could say that she was a little attached (ok, maybe that's an understatement). Maybe that's why they didnt work, because Manon didnt seem attached at all.
Now that Dani thinks back, Manon had barely felt there. Maybe she should've seen the signs earlier and deaded it before she embarrassed herself by being a little less than unwilling to let Manon go when they first broke up. That wasn't her fault. This was one of those times where she didnt know good from bad like she said earlier.
But she's had a changed mind since then. Well, it hadnt been that long, only a month. But boy did that month open her eyes a lot. Let's just say she is past dislike for Manon right now. Maybe she'd get over it in the future, when she's had time and space (both of which she has run out of at rhe moment), but definitely not now. She thinks she has the right to when she didnt realize it at first.
She definitely does now. But she cant say anything. She definitely will try not to make a mess of things on Sophia's birthday and share how shit of a girlfriend Manon; she'd keep that to herself for the night.
So yeah, forgive her for seeming a little exhausted already. She's already a little tired from thinking about how she has to act cordial around Manon.
"Seriously, you ok?" Megan lays her hand on Dani's shoulder to catch her attention again
"I'm fine, seriously. Just nervous to see if Sophia likes my present." She hopes Megan believes her white lie. She almost lets out a sigh of relief when she sees Megan is distracted.
"Oh my gosh. Shit, shit. I forgot to wrap mine." Megan gasps, flying out of the room and running to the living room
"This is why I told you to do it when you bought it. You never listen." Dani chuckles, taking the iron and straightening the last section of her hair. Hmm, that was quick (ok, maybe she was a little distracted thinking about the nuisance Mankn will be).
"I thought I would remember." Megan huffs, catching her breath as she runs back into her room
"I told you that you weren't. But no, no one ever listened to Dani." Dani mumbles, with a shake of her head
"I always listen to you. You're great at giving advice." Megan denies
"Of course I am. Which is why you should listen when I say hurry up. We gotta leave in like 20 minutes." Dani says as she runs her fingers through her now straightened hair
"20?! Shit, shit. We're gonna be late." Whoops, she didnt mean to spur her panic on ever more.
"Not we, you. I will not be late." Dani clarifies, heading to the restaurant, picking up her dress on the hanger on the way
"Dani, you're not gonna leave me right? Dani?!"
...
Yay, the moment she had been dreading. She just wants this part to be over with. Or, maybe Manon not showing up at all (Dani knew that wasnt going to happen. Manon might've been a shitty girlfriend, but not a shitty friend.) Dani isn't going to get her hopes up; Manon will show. She just has to prepare herself for it.
But yeah, she's already counting the minutes until she can get home. She didnt want to; she actually wanted to enjoy Sophia's birthday. Of course se wanted to be present for her friends big day. But she knows that's not how it's going to work.
She regrets to admit that she had already let Manon get under her skin. She mighve driven a little slower on the way hee, just maybe. Maybe she was hoping to catch every red light. Yes, unfortunate. But she really didnt want to see her.
She knows Manon. She knows that she'll get under her skin, provoke her. She knew that was going to happen. She just has to stay far away enough from her to do that; sitting on the opposite end of the table should do.
No turning back now.
"Ha, see we aren't late." Megan says, checking the time on her phone as they walk into the restaurant
"I didnt say we were going to be. You did." Dani chuckles, purse knocking against her as her hips sway
"Thanks for not leaving me." Megan says, voice full of appreciation
"I wasnt going to Meg, you know that. Plus, I dont trust you to drive." Dani chuckles
"Why'd you say you were then?" Megan asks
"So you could haul your ass. You seem to listen when you're rushed." Dani admits, refraining from smiling at Megan's pout
"That isn't very nice by the way. And I'm an amazing driver." Megan scoffs
"Yeah, tell that to Yoonchae, who you almost crashed with by the way. Hi, we're here with Sophia Laforteza." Dani mutters before speaking up to the front house service of the restaurant
"Yoonchae?! Where? Do I look ok?" Megan darts her head around, trying to peer into the dining area as she smooth her dress over her legs
"You're so in love. You look amazing, nothing to worry about." Dani assures with a laugh. She remembers when things were like that for her. Uugh, she wishes her brain would stop doing that. It isnt like that with Manon anymore.
"Uh... you can follow me." The host says, grabbing menus
"Did I say that out loud?" She looks thoroughly mortified. Poor Megan; she's always so easily embarrassed
"Yes, very, in fact. Relax, I think he was the only one who heard you. Not Yoonchae." Dani teases as they start walking again behind the man.
"Dani that's not funny." Megan mutters, getting closer and closer to Sophia and the rest of the girls
Dani has to say, shes quietly relieved she cant see Manon there yet; she can buy hereelf some extra time to compose herself. She should've seen fhis coming actually; Manon always runs near late. She loves making an entrance; she could negrr get enough of people looking at her walk through a room.
"I dont know, I thought it was pretty funny." Dani laughs under her breath
"Well yeah, that's cause you're evil." Megan grumbles, shoving her shoulder into Dani playfully
"Actually, I have been described as a-"
"Girls!! You made it." Sophia cuts their banter with an excited squeal. Looks like someone is having a good day.
"Of course. You didnt think we'd be late or something right?" Megan chuckles, hugging Sophia
"I feel like you're trying to tell us something." Lara hums curiously
"She is; she almost made us late." Dani says, pointing at Megan
"I did not. She's lying." Megan denies, sliding into her seat, which happens to be conveniently next to Yoonchae.
"I dont know, I believe her." Yoonchae chuckles
"Hi." Aww, she's all shy. Dani hopes she knows she isnt exactly hiding her little crush well
"Hi." They're so cute; Dani tries not to say that out loud when she hears Yoonchae respond
"Dios Mios Daniela Avanzini! Look at you." Sophia exclaims as she pulls her into a hug
"No no, that's you. You look as gorgeous as ever. I just had to make sure I matched you level." Dani smiles at the compliment
"Well I have to say you did." Uugh, great just who she was hoping got caught in traffic. The familiar voice makes her turn around to see Manon standing behind them.
It's not fair how good she looks. And it definitely isnt fair that she thinks she can make her entrance known by saying that. Shes so... stupidly hot.
Dani cant focus on anything but that. It's not like she forgot what she looked like, it had only been a month; yeah she's shocked that she had avoided seeing her for that long too. And she might have had trouble parting with some of their pictures, but that's besides the point.
Dani cant focus on her annoyance as much as she wants to because Manon always makes sure she's distracting. It isnt fair.
She's dressed in a stupid blazer like she's going to some job interview (well, this was a pretty fancy place; Dani is just being picky). The black slacks fit around her thighs in a way that makes them more pronounced than they should be. And heels she paired them with make her look taller and tie in the business look. Not too much though; Manon just had to throw on a pair of sunglasses.)
She looks ridiculous (ridiculously sexy).
God, this is going to be a long night isnt it?
"Careful Manon, I'm gonna start thinking you want Dani back." Dani knows Lara is just joking, but she would really rather not let those seeds be planted in her head.
"Well that's up to Dani isn't it." Manon smirks as she turns her head towards her.
"Hmm, too soon to consider something like that. Too soon for a time that will never come." Dani replies sharply, sharp smile on her face as she looks back at Manon
"Damn. Oh, sorry. Sorry." Megan says underneath her breath before she noticed everyone looked towards her.
"No worries. Just... friendly banter. Right Dani?" She wants to leave already. Manon has already made it clear that her mission tonight is to piss Dani off.
"Right." Dani mumbles before she sits down in an empty seat
"See all cleared up. Sophia, babe. Happy birthday." Good, she's not looking at her anymore. She needs room to breath.
Dani tunes the rest of them out for a moment. She needs a second. Or a minute, maybe an hour. Or the rest of the night. Ok, maybe she needs some time.
Manon just got her so... riled up. Just of the sight of her is making Dani want to roll her eyes. Something which she cant do since the rest of their friends are here and they have no idea.
But Manon is already making it difficult. She's already pushing her buttons. And of course, she knows all the ones to push before Dani goes over the edge. She knows how much fo push before she has to stop before Dani explodes.
Dani is already getting a headache at thinking about what Manon is going to say to get her to that point. She loves pissing her off; she acts like that's her favorite hobby. Tonight is definitely going to be difficult.
And right when Dani comes out of her own head, she almost groans in frustration. Of course the only empty seat is one next to her. She's going to lose hair by the end of tonight.
Maybe if she asked to switch seats with someone. She just needs an excuse. Maybe that she has more room on an edge-
"Nice place right babe?" Too late. Manon is much too close to her as she tries to strike up a conversation, leaning all in her space in a way that makes Dani dizzy (not in a good way. In an...angry way. Yeah, it makes her angry)
"Please dont call me babe." Dani grits out, eyes straight down at the menu in front of her that she's too busy to read
"You know I call everyone that. What would you like instead: angel?" She knwas what she's doing; Dani can see by the smirk on her face she sees once she turns towards her.
"No, definitely not." That was in the past. In the past it will stay.
"Cordial remember Dani. Dont wanna let them in on our little secret." Manon teases, eyebrows raising as she does.
"It's my secret because I decided I dont need to ruin your social life." Dani grumbles, scooting away from her (why does it feel like she's getting closer)
"Yeah, exactly why you're an angel. But I'm wounded that you dont think I have any other friends." Manon hums, fake pout on her face.
Does she want to get punched or something? Well, she might; she is kinda into that. Which is annoying because Dani really wants to smacks the hand inching closer to her thigh (she doesnt think Manon is doing it on purpose; there's just not a lot of room)
"Wow, relax. Dont want to cause a fight at her birthday do you?" Manon questions, leaning back into her seat a little.
"You're making it very difficult." Dani scoffs, flipping the page, not even remembering what was on the front
"I was never easy." Manon replies smartly
"I'll say." Dani mutters
"What are you two peas in a pod talking about over there?" Lara is way too smug about this. As Dani looks up, the smirk painted on her face makes it look Lara thinks something is going on. Which it is not; Dani is fully ready to clarify that, but of course Manon manages to beat her to it.
"Just how we're matching. We're still in sync." Manon jokes. They are not match-
Oh, well Dani supposes they are. Just a little though. It's not even matching really, it's more like color coordinating. Whatever it was, it wss completely a coincidence. It doesnt show anything about them. Well, other than the fact that Dani has amazing taste.
Ok, well, she supposes she could be mature enough to give Manon some credit. The black blazer she has over her white top does look good. And she means that she cleans up well, that's all. Nothing more. Definitely not the fact that the black perfectly matched Dani's dress. No, not that.
"I think thats a sign." Sophia chuckles. Why is everyone (and by everyone she means two of them) so hell bent on them getting back together? Or thinking there's still something between them. There's not; Dani has no idea why they think so. (Well, it may have to do with the fact that they think it was a mutual and calm breakup; but otherwise, Dani can't figure out why.)
"A sign of my amazing taste." Dani says. Enough to throw them off that topic, but not too rude for them to sense some animosity.
Dani thinks she's handling this quite well. Given the circumstances, she fully expected herself to frown the whole night. She's glad she has only done so twice. Ha, take that Manon. It seems she does, just not in the way Dani thought she would.
"Yeah, well you always did love my closet." Manon hums, proud smirk on her face as she turns towards Dani.
Deep breaths, deep breaths.
Seriously?! Can she stop? It's like she's trying to convince them that somethings still- Wait, is that what she's trying do?
"Can you stop?" Dani grits out under her breath
"Stop what? I thought we were supposed to act like besties." Manon asks innocently. Or at least, she tries to appear so. Dani is not falling for it.
She will not be falling for Manon's trap.
...
She's proud of herself, really she is. She actually had held true to her promise: she didnt fall for Manon's trap (whatever that might be). She has stayed relatively calm, relatively cordial. And by cordial she means barely looking Manon's direction.
It was necessary, maybe a little obvious, but necessary. Just looking at Manon made her want to pull her hair our. Plus, that isnt a good combination with Manon already knowing how to rile her up. So she had to.
So yes, Dani had room to be proud of herself. She had kept up to her end of her own bargain. She pretended like she didn't actively want to run away from Manon. Hard work really, especially since she was so close.
Luckily, the girls didnt really notice too much. That's another positve; Dani hadnt let Manon ruin her celebrating Sophia's birthday with her. Well, she guesses she didnt have to worry about Manon doing so deliberately, but still, Manon just being there made that a possibility.
The girls were all too busy talking, eating, celebrating, to even notice Dani's disdain. Dani has to say that she was too, even a little. For a couple of moments, like when she and Lara were bickering over sharing food, or when Yoonhae was taking pictures, she had forgotten that she had been dreading coming here because of Manon. It wasnt all bad.
Actually, tonight went way better than expected. Like a lot better. She expected the two hours with Manon at her side tp be mental torture. But she actually survived.
Ok, maybe that was a little bit because of the wine. What?! That's totally normal. They definitely weren't going to go out to a fancy restaurant and not try the wine. She was really the only one who drank it, well along with Sophia. Manon said it wasnt her thing, Lara didnt like it, Megan bacially spit it out, and Yoonchae didnt even try it (obviously.)
So what if she was a little looser because of the wine? It's actually a good thing; it made it easier to pretend like she didnt want to flinch away when Manon's hand brush her thigh. It made it easier to pretend that Dani hadnt felt the urge to glance at Manon every two seconds. It made it easier for her to fix her glance from a glare to neutral. She didnt have to many glasses. Just enough, just enough being two and half.
Just enough for her to feel tipsy. Great way to end a night that she thought was going to be a train-wreck in her head. Or, she thought the night was going to end. The girls had other plans apparently.
"Best birthday ever." Sophia sighs in content, holding Lara's hand while they walk to the parking lot.
"You can't say that; what if next year is better?" Yoonchae says
"Then I'll change my statement next year, it stands right now." Sophia shrugs
"I can see why you think so; the gifts everyone got is insane." Dani chuckles, seeing the bags hang from Sophia's hand
"I still cant believe you guys got me all this stuff." Sophia sighs in disbelief
"Of course we did. It's your birthday." Manon says like it's obvious, lighting a cigarette now in her hand
"Still, thanks. I don't know where to put all of this." Sophia chuckles
"Oh, well I can always take it back so I can get a refund if it's too much." Megan jokes, making everyone laugh
"No, is rather like my gifts. Thanks for the offer though." Sophia laughs, unlocking her car
"Speaking of offers, I say we go out." Of course it's Lara recommending it. Right when Dani was going to escape this nightmare, Lara wants to keep it going. Ok, she's being a little harsh; she knows Lara likes a night out.
"But I'm so full." Megan pouts
"But we have to put a good end to Sophia's birthday." Lara prompts
"I dont know, I think this is a good stopping point." Dani says, chuckling nervously. She can already see where going out is going to lead and she would rather not go down that road.
"Oh come on, you guys are no fun. I agree." Of course Manpn agrees. She looks so... annoying (hot) as she blows the smoke out of her mouth as she responds.
"Well... I dont really wanna go home just yet." Sophia hums thoughtfully. Great they already got her; that's going to make it even harder to say no. But Dani has to, for her own sanity.
"You want to go out in this?" Yoonchae questions, gesturing down in her dress and heels
"Duh, thats the point. So she can show off." Lara say matter of factly
"Hmm, I do want to show off." Sophia nods. Oh, gosh, she's even further on board. Dani needs to remove herseld quick before it looks too weird.
"I wish I could. But, I have to work tomorrow guys." Not really a lie, just a convient excuse. She really does have to work. It just isnt that early in the morning that she has to leave just yet. But the girls dont need to know that.
"Aww, really? Uugh, just our luck." Lara groans in disappointment
"I really wish I could." Dani says with a frown
"No, no at least you came to dinner. That's all I really wanted." Sophia tries to shrug it off like it doesnt really hurt. But Dani can see that it does. No, no, no. She cant change her mind.
"Oh come on Dani, don't wanna let Sophia down do you? Just for a little while?" Of course right when they had a great streak going on (meaning Manon not pissing her off), she wants to piss her off. Dani can tell she wants her to take the bait; the smirk on her face tells her that much.
She cant, she won't. But does she really want to. Just to prove that she doesn't care that much that Manon will be (even though she does. Hell, that was why she didnt want to go.)
"Yeah, just for a little while." Megan says with a pout.
Manon smirking out of the corner of her eye doesnt help at all. Definitely not, especially with all of them pouting like Dani going home now would ruin their day.
Fine, Manon won this round. Dani was just going to win the next one. If she wanted to play that game, Dani could play that game. So yes she concedes this time.
She gives into her pride and sad eyes of her friends (plus the all too smug look on Manon's face), and finds herself in the club with them. She doesnt know which one; some random one Lara had picked out.
All that she knows is that maybe she's a little happy that she gave into Manon's challenge and came along. This was something she could get into.
The music bouncing through the air made her forget that she ever wanted to go against Manon in the first place. As she steps in she just knows that she wanted to dance the rest of the night away (which she will not; she's a responsible adult)
So as much as she wants to get lost, she doesnt. The girls dont want her to either; they all groan when Dani says she can stay for only up to an hour. Yeah, now she doesnt wanna leave either, but she does.
So she tries not to dwell on how soon she'll have to leave most of the time. Instead, she'll do what she's done the majority of the night, ignore her problems and worries. Easy enough when she had already done the harder one.
It was easy to lose herself when everyone else around her was. Everyone was lighthearted and having fun; of course they were, it was Sophia's birthday after all. So the girls surely acted like it.
The time went fast unfortunately. Like they say, times flies when you're having fun or whatever. Everyone was having fun, well she's pretty sure everyone is; she doesnt recall seeing Manon (not that she particularly cares, it was just weird that she had missed her.) Maybe her body was doing it on purpose.
Maybe her body had floated away from Manon as soon as they walked in; at that meant she was still trying to keep her peace of mind. So instead of worrying about where Manon went, she had fun with the rest of the girls, crossing paths (yeah somehow they got separated; pretty chaotic) with each of them throughout the short time.
Megan and Yoonchae were cutely attached to the hip the whole time, she's sure. They obviously were sluggish (Dani vividly remembers them stuffing down all the gourmet food, they called it) but their energy picked up with time. Lara was busy fighting some random off for a booth when she last saw her (she's a girl who always tries to get what she wants). Sophia had dragged her to the dance floor for her honory birthday.
Which is how Dani ends up next to Lara and Sophia on the booth Lara managed to haggle from someone. She's spent from all the dancing she did. She needs a little pick me up from all that dancing. Well, she actually doesnt because needs to drive home. So she takes a water instead.
"Oh my gosh, how do you not need to pee yet?" Lara chuckles, watching Dani down yet another glass of water
"Im thristy and can't drink because I have to drive. Best solution." Dani sighs, her posture slackening a little before she lets her back hit the seat.
"You're making me thirsty with all that drinking." Sophia slurry slightly, eyes blinking slowly
"You're drunk as shit." Dani chuckles as she looks at Sophia
"It's looking about time to get you home birthday girl." Lara hums, swiping a strand of Sophia's hair
"About time for you too isn't it?" Dani turns her head to see Manon. Of course when she had finally stopped wondering about her, she wants to pop up. Like the universe is shoving it in her face that Manon can still both her.
She wants her to go away, but she knows that isnt going to happen. She sighs, knowing her best bet is to respond so this can be over as quickly as possible. And maybe leave a little early now that Manon had come to sour her mood.
"In ten more minutes. Or now." Dani mumbles the last bit under her breath, swirling the last sip of water she has before drinking it.
"Come dance with me before you leave." She asks all nonchalantly like they're cool enough to do so. If she hadnt noticed, they're not. Maybe all the pretending had gotten to her head. It's so annoying how easy she thinks she has it the Dani.
"I'm tired." Dani mumbles, looking down to avoid her eyes
"Come on, I'm the only being left out." Manon says, fleeting her eyes to Lara and Sophia.
Well if she says no again it'll be too obvious. And the girls are looking at her like they expect her to go, because it's something friends do.
Which the girls think they are; they think she and Manon are still friends. Which they arent; they can't be after all the things they both said to each that day. But they dont know that. They dont know that because Dani decided to not tell them.
Looking back she doesnt know why she did it. She said that she did it to be cordial. But maybe, in the moment, she had hope. Had hope that they could fix it, try again. Get a second chance cause everyone deserves one.
Unfortunately right now, she's foolish enough to grant Manon that happy chance right now. Not that really wanted to, but is anyway.
"Fine." Dani sighs as she pushes herself off her seat. Manon is holding her hand out ofr her and she really doesn't want to take. She doesnt want to take it and remember the feeling of how right it felt, their hands fitting together.
But she has to, she has to because the girls are watching and they held hands even when they were friends. She needs a drink.
Dani takes Manon's hand, holding onto it as she walks. She takes the lead, naturally of course. Plus she's getting a drink, she has to at least have a shot. One will be just fine to go on the road.
"I thought we were dancing." Manon says from behind her, arm being pulled by Dani to where she was leading them
"We are, I need a shot before this though." Dani huffs, dropping Manon's hand once they reach the bar.
"Am I really that insufferable?" Manon chuckles, amused at how much she's getting under Dani's skin.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Dani deadpanns, raising her hand politely to get rhe bartenders attention.
"I always did like your honesty." Manon smiles, leaning her arm on the counter to perch her head up, turning it towards Dani
"Two shots of tequila please." Dani says politely
"I thought you said one?" Manon asks, smirk on her face.
"What if the other one was for you?" Dani test
"It wasnt, you wouldnt do that." It's so annoying how right she is.
"Actually make that two more." Dani says after he returns, sliding down her request to her.
"I dont think you should get that much. Busy lady tomorrow aren't you?" Manon asks, raising a brow as Dani tips back her head, downing a shot before she speaks again
"Dont worry about me. And I'm only getting one extra one. Other is for you." Dani scoffs, throat burning, ignoring the sensation before she drinks her next shot.
"How nice of you. Looks like you've had a change of heart." Manon says sarcastically
"Shut up before I change my mind." Dani mumbles, eyes on the empty glass. Can this stuff work faster?
"You wont. You wont cause people are watching." Dani tries to ignore the shiver she gets down her spine when Manon leans into her ear, whispering to her all low and warm.
She throws her head back once more once her third shot gets her. She needs the affect to hit her now. Like really soon. Thank goodness it came when it did.
She wants to shake off how right Manon is. She wants to shake off the fact that she almost throws a glance to where Sophia and Lara lounger. She wants to forget how Manon's hand felt as they walked over here.
She wants Manon to back off from out of her space. So yeah she takes the thrid shot as soon as she gets it.
"Do you want to dance or not?" Dani is ready for this to be over, even more so now that the tequila is in her system. She's ready to get this over with and go home to run the shower on herself to rinse all of this off.
"Thought you'd never ask." She better wipe that look of her face before Dani-
Wait, wait. Are you serious? This is playing now?! Just her luck. She needs another drink. But she doesnt; she isnt stupid. She just tries to ignore it as Manon pulls her to dance.
"Nice song right?" Of course Manon wants to make everything she wants to do difficult.
Scared of saying too much
Scared of not saying enough
"Shut up Manon." Dani mutters as the music plays around them.
She's much too far away for the type of song it is. But she needs to keep her distance before she does something stupid. She surely will with how much liquor she drank, trying to run away from Manon. It looks like she's just gonna run right into her.
"Dont be shy. Gotta get a little closer dont you think?" Manon lowers her voice, shuffling her body closer to Dani.
Dani turned her back to her so she didnt have to look at her and that stupid, permanent smirk she always seems to have. But this is worse (better). Much worse.
"This is fine." Dani hopes she doesnt sound to breathless when she feels the heat of Manon right on her, hips almost aligned.
Almost, Dani reaches her hand backward to stop her. That would be too close, far too close. This is a friendly distance; hovering, almost touching, inches apart.
"Alright, alright. I got the message." Dani almost sighs a sigh of relief when she hears Manon's acceptance. It wasnt like she thought Manon was going to push; she isnt like that. She just doesnt think she could take it.
I smoke too many cigarettes, baby (cigarettes)
But you said on my lips it's good
Why does this sound like it's speaking directly to them? It never felt like that before. Or maybe, maybe Dani drank too much and she's starting to feel the affects, at least that's what she's gonna tell herself. The other possibility, or explanation (possibly of Manon requesting this song and asking Dani to dance). No, no, that wouldn't make sense. Manon wouldn't go that far. Plus, Dani had taken the on a little detour. She wouldn't have.
Or maybe she would. Dani knows Manon, she knows how she acts. She knows her, so she thinks the possibility is definitely there.
Manon would treat as her attempt to get Dani back or something. She knows that she would think this is some grand gesture of romance that'll make Dani come running back to her. Well, she won't. Dani wont-
"You're too in your head." Manon's voice and the softness of it breaks ger thoughts up. Suddenly she's back in her own body, which suddenly feels warm.
"No I'm not." Dani denies. She was, she just wants to be contrary. Admitting it would be too easy.
I wanna get drunk in the back of the club with you
When it's hot, and it's wet, but you won't take your eyes off mine
Dani feels dizzy as she hears the lyrics play throughout the club. The bass booms throughout the place, making her feel the vibrations in her bones. She feels the urge to get closer, back into Manon as the lyrics play.
Yeah, she's definitely drunk. There's no way she would be thinking that if she wasn't. Maybe taking all those shots was a mistake. Maybe that wasn't the way to go about this. But it's too late to turn back now.
But she doesn't. She doesn't back up enough to feel Manon against. She fights the urge to feel the heat. She fights the urge to grab at Manon's hands and place them on her hips. Instead, she occups her own hands with running them through her hair. That was the safer bet.
"Yeah, you are. You wanna know how I can tell? You get that look and space out. You cant feel anything when you're in your head." Manon hums, voice carrying through the music. What if she didn't want to feel anything right now; not when it would be too much to handle.
"You dont know that." Dani mumbles, shaking her head slightly
"Yeah I do. Get out of your head Dani. You dont even dance like you can when you are." Fine, fine, she'll give into the feeling the alcohol is giving her.
She'll give into the feeling of Manon's voice against her ear. She'll give into the need to feel Manon's hands her body. She'll give into pretending they're just friends. Fine, Manon wins this round too. Only because Dani let her.
Dani rolls her eyes, trying to quiet down her inside thoughts. She does it before she can regret it. She backs into Manon, now feeling her flush against her hips, rocking together now to the music. Manon takes that (of course she does) as permission to lay her hands on the sides of Dani's hips. Whatever, it's practical. Dani will let it slide, not like she wanted it too.
And it's just you and I in this corner, girl
And I ain't even checking time on my phone
"See, that's more like it." Manon hums, sounding satisfied now that she can feel Dani rock against her. Dani is going to ignore how the rumble Manon's voice makes her feel warm. It's just the liquor, just the liquor.
"Shut up. Couldn't let you insult my dancing, that's all." Dani scoffs, grabbing at Manon's hands to halt them from snaking up to her abdomen.
"If you wanted to hold hands you could've just said so." Manon teases, turning her hands upward quickly, interlocking her fingers with Dani.
"I didn't. Keep them there." Dani directs in annoyance, untangling their hands and guiding Manon's hands bac to her hips
"Bossy huh? Fine. And I wasnt insulting. Just encouraging." Manon covers up her tracks, ones that Dani can see right through. Dani can see right through her; she knew what she was doing and Dani knew it too.
"Well find another way to encourage before I leave." Dani warns, which is empty but Manon doesn't need to know that.
"You never leave a song unfinished. But whatever you say angel." Manon chuckles, vibrating against Dani's skin, making her feel goosebumps.
And them hips stay stuck to my waist, girl, I'll treat you like a holster
(Girl, it's you I want, oh, it's you I want)
"You might change that. And I thought I said dont call me that." Dani says, blush coming on her face at the nickname. She's glad she's turned around so Manon couldn't see.
"Sorry, forgot." Bullshit. Dani bets that if she turns around that she'll see a smirk lining Manon's face.
"Surprised you still came." Manon whispers into her ear, making her bite her lip
"Why would I not? It's Sophia's birthday." Dani says like she doesn't know exactly what Manon is hinting at. She isn't going to make it that easy.
"Cause you heard I was coming. Thought you'd just take her to a separate dinner since I bother you so much." Manon jokes, well at least Dani thinks she is.
"You dont take up that much of my mind anymore Manon. I can be an adult." Dani rolls her eyes, the thought of Manon thinking such a thing bothering her. The words feel like a lie though; it certainly doesn't feel true with the way her skin feels warm underneath the rub of Manon's fingers.
I'm sorry to say that I can't keep my hands off your body
"So there was a time that I did?" Of course that's how she takes it. Reading in between lines that aren't there.
"Shut up." Dani grumbles. There's nothing else she could say. Nothing she could say when a faint smile is on her lips.
"You look good if I didn't tell you. I was thinking it." Manon feels closer now. Dani thinks her lips touch her ear when she speaks.
"Of course I do." The words almost get stuck in her throat when she feels Manon's hand come up to swipe her hair away from the back of her neck, now laying on one shouler.
I ain't got no eyes for nobody else, oh whoa
Let's see how far we can take it, 'fore we switch locations
Girl, don't leave my side, oh
"I'm serious. You look good." She believes her. She believes her because she had allowed herself to look at Manon during dinner, she knows she would've caught her already staring. She can feel it; Manon doesnt have say it.
"You dont look half bad yourself." She shouldn't have said it. She shouldnt have said it because the shake in her voice reveals that she thinks a little more than that.
"Oh come on, you gotta give me a little more than that." Manon mutters in her ear
"No, I dont." Dani says with a shake of her head
"Hmm, I know you are, in your head where think I can't tell. Giving me more, you always do." Manon sounds like she's talking about more than what they were currently speaking about. The tone of it makes Dani turn around.
"I always give you too much." Dani says lowly, looking into her eyes, still feeling her hands on her hips.
"I know." No apology, no nothing. Just acknowledgement. And that doesn't feel like enough.
I wanna get drunk in the back of the club with you
"I gotta go." That's all Dani gives as her farewell. She has to go, she just has to.
She's out the door before she realizes it, leaving the music and Manon behind. She thought the night breeze would make her feel better, but it's only making her realize how how she is.
Yeah, she's gotta go home. She shouldnt have come. She should've just-
"Dani, Dani! You forgot your stuff." Shit, she did. Great, of course it had to be Manon to come after her. Wait, she didnt tell any of the girls she was leaving. She should, she isnt going to go back. She needs to get home.
"Thanks." Dani mumbles, taking her bag from Manon, hands grazing in the process
"Of course. I got you an uber." What? She misheard that right?
"I drove here Manon." Dani reminds, eyes furrowing.
"You're drunk, you shouldn't drive." Manon says, instead of answering Dani's indirect question
"I'm fine, cant even feel it yet. I can-"
"I got you a Uber Dani. Meg can drop your car off tomorrow before you go to work. It's fine." Manon interrupts, not taking no for an answer. Fine, what's an Uber going to hurt?
"Thanks, I'll pay you back." Dani mutters, arms wrapping around herself, feeling the cold air.
"You're good. Take this." Manon shakes her had, slipping her blazer off before handing it to Dani.
"I dont-"
"Get home safe Dani." Manon doesnt give her a chance to give it back. She doesnt give her a chance to say no, because she's off, back into the club.
She shouldn't have come. She should've stayed home. Far away from Manon.
...
If Dani wasnt drunk before, she's definitely drunk now. Good thing she listened to Manon (that is the one time shes is saying this), well she kinda didnt have a choice. But she was glad Manon didnt let her be contrary this one time.
She definitely felt it as she unlocked her front door. She definitely felt it as she kicked off her shoes. And she thinks it was the most intense when she was trying to take a shower (she's pretty sure she stayed in the shower for like an hour, trying not to fall asleep and shower)
But she feels better (or worse; she has no idea) now that she lays in her bed. The clock besides her bed it bacially yelling at her to go to sleep, the clock reading 12 am. Yeah she should definitely go to sleep.
But she cant. She's drunk. And her being drunk means her head is running around in circles thinking about things it shouldn't. Things such as tonight. Things like Manon and tonight. She should sleep.
She tries to. But instead of letting the feeling of the cool sheets engulfing her, pulling her to sleep, her body rememebrs. Remembers the wrong thing. Or the right thing, the thing that felt right in the moment.
She cant go to sleep because she can still feel Manon's hands on her hips. She can still feel Manon's hips rocking against hers. She can still feel her fingertips grazing her neck after she touched her hair. It kept replaying even when Dani tries to press pause on the moments in her mind.
She can still see Manon looking at her, gazing at her like she wants her, wants her like she used to. She tries to tell herself it was just the liquor, just the song, or maybe the place, maybe the fact that they were in a good mood. She tries. But she can still feel how it made her feel in the moment.
She's so... no no. She has to go to sleep. That was done. That was just for tonight.
Just for tonight... well, if it was just for tonight. This wouldnt hurt. This wouldnt hurt in the long run. This is just for tonight. Just for tonight because she's so horny. Stupid Manon and stupid decision to drink the liquor.
Dani does another thing she isnt supposed to. She had known this was going to happen, actually was counting to herself how long for it would take for her to give in. That's why she made sure the blazer was within in arms length.
Manon's blazer; she made sure it was within in reach. Because she knew she would need it. Just like she knew tonight was a night for shorts that were easy to get out of. Just like she knew tonight was the night for a big shirt (one of Manon's shirt)
Because she knew she would touch herself. She knew because all the fighting ealry, fighting with her feelings, with Manon; she knew that would make her tired, too tired to fight what she's about to do now.
She had given into a while ago, in the back of her mind. Maybe in the shower, or in the ride back home, when she walked our the club. Maybe she gave in when she was dancing on Manon. Or maybe she had never really fought to begin with.
She doesnt want to think about that right now. Then it'll make what she's doing right now more permanent. And this is just for tonight. Just for tonight.
Just for tonight she brings Manon's blazer up close to her chest and inhales the scent. Just for tonight she'll let the smell of smoke and perfume and hair products make it feel like Manon is right above her. Just for tonight she'll let it drape over her to make it feel like Manon's weight is on her.
She lets her eyes close so she can feel it. So she can visualize Manon looking down at her, hips anchoring around her. It feels like she's right there, or maybe the ghost of her. It doesnt feel like enough. Like she needs more. Just like with her liquor tonight, Dani is greedy and doesnt know when to stop.
She presses her hand against her chest, trying to make it feel like the tattooed hand that used to press down there. It isnt enough so she presses harder. On top of the blazer, she lets her other hand press down on her stop. The fabric restricting the warmth of her hand from seeping all the way through.
It isnt enough. And she's greedy. Really greedy right now. She cant do anything until it feels like it's enough (which certainly feels like Manon being right here, but that isnt an option.)
So she does something she shouldn't. But she's drunk, she'll blame it on that this time. She'll blame it on that if she asks. She'll blame it on that in the morning.
Dont pick up, pick up. Pick up, dont pick up. The chant in her head repeating, fighting each other because Dani doesnt know what she wants.
But she does, she knows what she wants. And it happens, even if she was sure she didnt want it to happen.
"You alright?" Fuck, why did she have to sound so concerned? Her voice so soft and light just in case Dani needs it to be that way. She was supposed to sound indifferent, so Dani could realize what she was doing and stop.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm alright, I made it home a while ago. Figured I call to let you know, just in case you were worried." Dani answers after her delay as she pulls the blazer closer to her.
"You told me not to worry." Manon sighs, sounds shuffling in Dani's ear. It feels like she's admitting that she didn't listen, again.
"I did, but you did anyway. You dont listen very well." Dani huffs, almost laughing as she rolls her eyes, the many memorize of such coming back to her.
"Well good thing I didnt on this one yeah?" Manon hums, voice low in Dani's ear
"Yeah I guess so." Dani agrees for once.
"Thought you said you had to go to work bright and early in the morning? Why are you still up?" Why did she remember that still?
"Yeah cant sleep." A poor lie, quick one on hopes thag Manon cant pick up on it.
"So you called me?" Manon asks, skeptical of her reasoning.
"No, I already told you why I called you. I just happened to remember and decided to." Dani scoffs
"Ok, then you can hang up now can't you?" She's testing her. She knows she is. And Dani is going to fail this time (or pass on Manon's eyes)
"What do you have something better to do at midnight? Well excuse me for interrupting your busy life." Yeah she's definitely drunk because she wouldn't have said that out loud if she wasn't.
"No, just trying to keep you aligned with your schedule. Know how important that is to you." Manon chuckles, knowing that Dani had given in, not all the way but a little.
"It is. But I can't sleep, so might as well." Dani shrugs
"So you want me to put you to sleep?" Why'd she have to say it like that? Like she knew what Dani was going to end up doing.
"Just stay on the phone until I do." Dani requests
"Alright." Hmm, that was easy. Too easy. Almost like Manon knew what was coming and she wanted it. The idea made Dani shiver. And made her say something stupid.
"I wish you were here." Dani mumbles in the fabric Manon had given her, forgetting Manon could still hear her from where her phone was positioned.
"What'd you say?" Manon asks smirk seeping into her voice like she heard her loud and clear.
"Nothing." Dani mutter, blush blooming on her face.
"Mmh, yeah ok. Why'd you call me Dani?" Manon's question catches her off guard, making her slip her hands off her stomach and sit up
"I already told you." Dani sighs
"Did you? Or were you lying? You've done a lot of lying tonight." Manon accuses softly, as if she finds it amusing at the fact that Dani even tried when she can see right through her.
"No, you're imagining things." Dani denies helplessly as she rests her head back on her pillow.
"So were you lying when you said you wish I was there huh? Next to you?" Manon's voice hums besides her, phone set near her head as it settled on her pillow,
"Maybe, no. I dont know I already told you that. Dont make me say it again." Dani grits out, trying to refrain from rolling her eyes
"Well I didn't ask then, did I? I'm asking now. Just want sone clarification. " Uugh, she's so annoying. Annoyingly hot.
"Yes Manon, I want you here." Dani groans out as she gives into her impulse and rolls her eyes. The covers beneath her dont feel as cold as they first did. She's burning up. Burning up because Manon's voice is in her ear.
"You know why you called me. So do it." Manon is done treading around the boundary and caution tape that Dani had set up. Dani had long walked over it but she was just waiting for Manon to push back, push back and walk to her.
"Dont rush me." Dani mumbles, hand already traveling down to her boy shorts. Finally she's been so ready.
"I got all night baby." She's making it really hard for her to go slow so it feels better. But she's greedy.
"You've been thinking about this since you got home havent you?" Manon purrs into the phone, prompting Dani to tossle her hand under her shirt so she can touch her breast.
"N-no." Dani shivers out, cold hands touching her own skin
"I didn't know angels lied so much." She's gonna cum if she keeps taking like that. She wants it.
"I'm not, I'm not lying." She doesnt let her fingers slip past her underwear yet. She instead let's herself feel the seeping wetness that collects on top of them
"Hmm, so you were thinking about it before then? That's what you're telling me?" Manon insinuate, correctly by the way. How could she tell?
"Y-yeah. Maybe." Dani whimpers out as she brings the blazer back up to her face, slipping her hand from under she shirt to grab it.
"Yeah, figures. You were probably thinking about it when we were dancing. When you backed up into me. Hips all on me; I love it when you dance on me." The bite to Manon's words makes her press her fingers down, eyes fluttering at the pressure
"Were you Dani?" She sees flashes of the memory as she closes her eyes. Manon's hands. Yes, she definitely was.
"Yes, yes I was." Dani presses harder once she asks again, making the words catch a little in her throat.
"I know, I saw it. I was thinking about it too. I wanted to take you home. I wanted to touch you." Manon says lowly into the phone.
"F-fuck, Manon. Talk more." That's all it take for Dani to slip her fingers past her underwear and finally touching herself.
Her grip on the blazer tightens once she can feel how wet she is, finally without the fabric separating her.
"What do you want me to talk about angel? How good I thought you looked, hmm?" Manon asks, eager to fulfill her request
"Yes, yes please." Dani groans, dragging her fingers up and down herself.
"Ok, make sure you listen. Make sure you hear me. Hold your phone." Dani blindly follows her direction, flailing her free hand up to grab her phone to put it up to her ear
"Ok." Dani mutters to let Manon know she's ready
"You always look good in black Dani. I wish it was shorter though, so I could see your legs. You look beautiful. I liked your hair tonight. Looks easier to pull, dont have to worry about it tangling." It's like Manon knows what she has to say to get her to what she wants. Well, what Dani thinks she wants anyways.
All that matters is that she wants it. That's all that matter to her as she sinks her fingers in herself, imagining they were Manon's. Which was easier to imagine since the blazer that sat on her shoulders a couple of hours ago was across her chest.
A low moan comes out of her as she lips drop, grip on the phone tightening so she can hear Manon in her ear. Her legs flex, curling her toes at the new feeling of warmth inside her.
"Let me hear you Dani."
"Manon." Dani groans out, angling her fingers, not easing herself.
"I wanna see you. Turn your camera on." Manon asks, well demands really. Which, Dani likes the idea of too. She didn't really think it was going to get to think. Not that she didnt want it to, she just didnt see it coming.
So Dani indulges, she listens. Reaching for her phone with her unoccupied hand (which was kind of hard), she manages. Unfortunately she had to cease her movements, with just the felling of warmth now. At least until she can see Manon.
She feels a rush of newfound arousal course through her once she angles her phone, the view of Manon's face now in front of her. She doesn't want, rocking her hips to chase her fingers. She sensations make her head tip back onto her pillow, her neck on display for Manon now.
She hopes Manon didnt want her to wait. She hopes she didnt expect her to, not when she looked like that. Durag wrapped around her head snuggly, septum still in her nows, low eyes staring at the screen. She only got a split second look at it, but that was all she needed.
"No, no. Eyes on me Dani. Look at me." Craning her head, she angling her head to look at Manon. It's rather to hold her phone and chase her pleasure, she needs to find another angle. But them like this, she likes it. Just looking into each other eyes, not being able to see, just hear. The sight makes her dizzy again.
"You sound so good Dani, does it feel good? Sounds like it does." Manon hums, licking her lips as she stares, like the sight of Dani like this through the phone is enough for her too.
"Yeah, yeah. It does." Dani sighs, forcing herself to keep her eyes open.
"That mine, you have it on you? You wish I was there instead?" Manon catches sight of the jacket that lays on Dani's chest, her face scrunching up as she drives her fingers deeper.
"Yes, I wish you were here instead." Dani moans, biting her lip to stop herself from being so loud
"I know. It'd feel better if I was there. If I was the one in you, yeah?" It makes her eyes roll back, something she's glad Manon didnt reprimand her for, not right now. She couldn't when Manon was talking to her like this.
"I wish you were, you feel so good when you are." Dani is chasing, chasing something that isnt there. She cant make her own fingers feel like Manon's. She cant but she damn sure is going to use her imagination to try.
"Dani do something for me?" Manon sounds breathless now, like she's doing the same. The idea of it makes Dani's eyes snap open once more. She wants to see, wants to cheek if Manon is doing the same.
By the look on her face, she is. Dani feels another wave of heat wash over her. She feels the need to be touch everywhere. She shimmers her hips so tha she is bare now. Maybe the cool air will help.
It doesn't. The sight of Manon: her furrowed brows, fluttering eyes, the look of her swollen look, looking like she had bitten it, makes it feel like she isnt feeling enough. God, she wishes Manon was here.
She wishes Manon was here so she could feel her pulling on her hair. She wishes Manon was hovering over her, hand wandering around her body, touching her in all the places she needed ro be touched. She wishes she could feel the weight of Manon's gaze. She wishes Manon's soft lips were bruising her neck as she was knuckles deep in her.
But she isnt. It's just Dani, three fingers deep, glistening and squelching around the wetness seeping out of her, wanting. Wanting and wanting for someone that's too far away to reach. So she listens, hears what Manon wants her to do instead.
"Get in your knees. Phone on the bed." Dani blindly follows her instructions. Her foggy brain is trying to make sense of the postion Manon wants her in.
Once her brain catches up, now perched up on her knees, blazer now off to the side, she groans at the realization. It's almost as if Manon is in between her legs. Dani can imagine her legs squeezing around Manon's head. Instead, she just squeezes around her fingers.
"Yes, like that angel. You look so good." Manon groans lowly from beneath her on the phone. The sound only making Dani rock her hips downward, eyes shut trying to picture the vibrations of her voice hitting her where her fingers desperately dig, chasing.
"You could've taken me home, I wish you did." She just wishes she was here, making a mess Dani herself. She would've gotten what she wanted if she had.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry. I should've asked." Manon says softly, making a wave of warmth washing over Dani.
"Fuck, you looked so good tonight. I hated it." Dani bites out, hand shooting up to grab her breast again. Manon would, she would fo that.
"You loved it and you know it. Just say that." Manon scoffs, a heavy breath coming along with it.
"I loved it. I love it. I miss you." Dani sighs, arm tightening with how rough she's being.
"Do you, or do you miss how I fuck you? I see it, trying to do it like me, you miss that?" Oh, yes, she can see. That makes it so much better. Not that she thought it could be with how it feels now.
Dani forces her eyes open and angles her head down to look at herself. She's dripping, wrist slick, dripping down onto her bedsheets (and she hopes the blazer; so it can serve as a symbol of her dripping on Manon since she isnt here).
She wants it so badly. She wants it. She wishes Manon was here to lick it up. She looks like she wants to, eyes piercing thorough the screen, solely focused on Dani and how she rocks down on herself.
"I miss it. I miss you. I miss how you feel. You feel good." She's so close. She just needs to-
"I know, I miss you too. I miss you feel under me. I wish I could taste you right now." Manon moans lowly, head tipping back from what Dani could see. Yes, that that's what she needs. She feels her legs shake, the feeling of her climax coming upon her.
"Manon." Dani sighs, head tilting back too. Her stomach feels like it's tightening, turning in anticipation.
"That's all I'm good for? That's all I'm good for Dani?" The whimper of a question catches her off guard. The whinyness of it makes Dani pick up her rhythm, but the words make her heart ache.
"No, no. Why-"
"That's what you said to me. Remember?" Oh, oh. No, that isnt fair.
" I was angry Manon. That's not fair." Her voice shakes, tipping on the edge but not letting herself fall.
"You angry at me now, hmm?" The hum in her ear makes her bite her lip. She needs to, but she cant. She can't just not answer her.
"Dani, are you mad me?" Manon's voice comes out weak, like she is just a push away
"No, no I'm not mad at you baby." She hopes she think she's sincere. She means it. She was, but not anympre. Not right now.
"I said things I didnt mean to when I was mad too." Manon apologizes, weak, words stuttering.
"I know, I know." Fuck, she feels like crying.
"You want it Dani? I want it, I dont wanna wait." She's desperate just like her. Good.
"Yes, I want it so bad Manon."
"Then take it."
It's never felt like that before. It's never felt so blinding, heat washing over her so intensely that her throat feels raw as she moans through it. She feels put of body. She should get drunk more often.
Her eyes flutter open, her thighs shaking, and she watches all of her arousal to pour out of her. Her eyes widen at the amount, gushing out and staining the sheet. Blazer too, marked by her, just like she wanted.
She slumps down, Manon eyes glowing at the sight above her. She feels drained, like Manon sucked the life out of her and she wasnt even here. The way Manon licks her lips and breathes heavily makes her throb more.
The line is silent for a moment, just a mix of their heavy breathing. Dani slowly slides her fingers out of hersel, sticky and warm from herself.
"Suck for me." Dani feels her heart leap at the request.
She makes sure she looks at Manon through the camera, gaze unwavering as she brings her fingers to her mouth. She groans at the fluids entering her mouth. She licks them clean, imagining Manon's tongue gliding across her fingers, licking her up like she's starving.
"Taste good?"
"Yeah." Dani's voice sounds hoarse, spent from all her pleasure.
Dani lets her breathing out, admiring Manon's gaze from below her. She wishes she could kiss. Maybe she should come over, or Dani go over. She wants to, she's still- She's too greedy, she can feel it with the wetness clinging to her and ger still wanting more. She almost asks for more, until Manon beats her to speaking.
"Get some rest. Skip work tomorrow, I wanna see you." That was the last thing she said before she hung up. Well, Dani certainly isnt going to sleep now. She doesn't think she wants to.
She isnt going to stay home and just wait for Manon to show up. She isnt, that wouldn't be responsible. She cant just drop everything for her.
She cant (she does and she'll worry about regretting it later).
...
