“Remus please I swear it didn’t mean anything,” Sirius pleads stepping on the back of Remus’s heels, he is met with a door to the face as Remus slams it shut. “Oh it didn’t fucking mean anything, bullshit” he thinks to himself, fuming he quickly wipes the eyeliner that has run down to his cheeks and re applies it almost taking out his eye in the process.
He takes a deep breath and opens his dressing room door. He turns to his left and sees Sirius sitting against the wall head in his hands silver rings standing out between his jet black curls. Sirius jumps up immediately the despaired look on his face preciously is replaced with relief he goes to speak but Remus puts a strong hand on his chest “we’re on in five minutes” he grits out and then walks away filled with rage. Sirius gulps and then after finally registering what he said, sputters out, “shit actually,” He checks the clock above the couch and races to his dressing room to touch up his makeup. Remus looks back just as Sirius is running off “conceited prick” he says under his breath.
As they walk the stage the whole group can feel the tension “I think somethings up with them,” James whispers to Peter, nodding at Sirius and Remus.
“Hello London,” Sirius shouts through the microphone the crowd starts screaming and holding up signs Sirius is eating up the attention. “Ok I think u guys are ready for some songs huh?” the crowd starts nodding and jumping up and down.
Sirius is smiling but as the opening of Go Away starts playing his expression drops. “I thought we were playing across the sea what happened,” he whispers to the band James just shrugs “Remus changed it didn’t he tell you?” Sirius glances to Remus and he just smirks staring straight ahead.
“Cold hearted girl Don't hurt me like this anymore” Sirius turns towards Remus stepping toward him “I'm waitin' right outside your door Sayin', "Baby, can we talk?"
Remus turns towards him glaring as he sings “Stupid boy you keep on begging but I won't let you in you keep on cryin' but you know whatcha did I'll never let you back in”
They turn back to the front and Sirius retreats to his original spot as they continue the song. Sirius steps towards Remus again even closer then before and sings
“I was wrong I hurt your feelings when I did what I did I learned my lesson, I'll stop actin' like a kid Can you give me one more chance?
Sirius stare burns into Remus soul he practically begs. Remus looks back at him tears pricking his eyes and softly sings
“And so I asked ‘What does she have that I don't have?’You said you'd stay, but then you went away That's why I'm tellin' you to go away” Remus bites back tears as the song rips his emotions out from the tight cage he’d been keeping them in, the door one second away from swinging open and his mind being flooded with things he’s rather not be feeling at the moment.
Sirius is still staring at him, he feels his breath on his face and he quickly looks away but Sirius is still there. “Won't you take me back?” Remus takes a breath and then his eyes drained of emotion softly sings directly to Sirius,
“That was your last chance”
Sirius’s expression falls and if just as quickly he’s back to smiling but it doesn’t reach his eyes. As the song reaches an end so does Remus’s love for Sirius
