Petunia and Eri Natsume

Summary:

Petunia Evans, 18 years old, lives a quite difficult life in order to keep up with her extraordinary younger sister's position. Training in martial arts, studying desperately until her brain feels hot, and participating in various competitions held by school, neighborhood, acquaintances to make the Evans family notice her and feel proud.
Basically, she lives a quite difficult life and pushes herself too hard. Whatever it takes, she will do it to get what she dreams of. Petunia's ambition is to become a police officer and she tries hard to at least get attention from her father and grandfather if her mother does not notice Petunia at all because she is not special in any way, not as extraordinary as Lily who can do magic.
Until one day Petunia meets a teenage boy who is two years younger than Petunia, the same age as Lily. A strange young man with white skin but not too pale, slightly messy curly black hair, green eyes and a scar that stretches from his forehead to his right cheek. He is very tall and has broad shoulders for a 16-year-old teenager.
The young man who claims to be a young detective. Or, maybe he just likes novels by Arthur Conan Doyle and idolizes Sherlock Holmes.

Work Text:

Petunia stared at the small frame on the table. The photo of herself wearing her uniform and holding a trophy award seemed to glare sharply at the camera. Behind Petunia stood a middle-aged man who looked very much like Petunia herself. That was her grandfather.

The alarm rang and its sound woke Petunia from her daydream. Petunia yawned softly and stretched herself. She slowly got down from her bed. A creaking sound came from the old bed that her mother had given her. That bed used to be Lily's since Lily went to Hogwarts. And it was given to Petunia.

Yesterday, her mother and father went to buy a mattress and some sheets. They said Lily's best friends would stay over during the summer in Lily's world. Her mother talked excitedly at the dining table last night when Lily sent the letter. That the rich kids from the world where Lily went to school would stay at the Evans family home.

And both their father and mother could not wait to welcome Lily's friends. After all, both of them had always been curious about the world Lily talked about and also the people in it.

Petunia still remembered last night's conversation where her mother told her to pick up Lily's friends at King's Cross station with the new van that their father had just bought.

Actually, Petunia would not refuse if the job was like delivering some items. Because Petunia could build connections with the neighbors around Spinner's End. But if it was picking up Lily and a bunch of other weird kids, Petunia felt she would probably faint from high blood pressure even before she managed to start the car engine.

No. She might have hypertension when she stood on platform 9 ¾ to pick up Lily.

"Today huh..." Petunia muttered to herself. She started washing her face with water, and brushed her teeth with a toothbrush. After cleaning herself, Petunia started looking for decent clothes in her closet. Some clothes looked too small and tight because of how fast Petunia had grown tall. She had grown 3 cm from last year and now her height had reached 180 cm. Quite tall for a teenage girl her age.

A dark blue dress, paired with a pale yellow blazer and red boots. It seemed enough. Petunia then looked in the mirror. She always hated her thin blonde hair like her father's. And hated her lifeless gray eyes like her mother's. Meanwhile Lily, her younger sister, carried all the good things from their parents' genes. Like their mother's thick red hair and their father's beautiful green eyes. Lily's figure was also more like their mother's, slim and not too tall. Making her even cuter.

Meanwhile Petunia, well she was tall and had quite a long neck. She was never that pretty, but at least she was proud of what she had achieved so far.

After preparing important items into her small bag, Petunia hurried down from her room. She saw her father and mother eating together.

"Tuney, you're already up? Eat for a bit. Your mom made your favorite apple pie." Her father said.

Apple pie. That was not Petunia's favorite at all. Petunia did not even like pie that much and preferred sausage, bacon and eggs instead of Lily's favorite apple pie.

"No need Dad. I will pick up Lily right away." Petunia said coldly. She then grabbed her white coat that was already a bit worn until it turned cream-colored and took the car keys.

"So rude! If that was Lily she would thank me and be happy. She would appreciate me instead of just passing by like you!" Her mother with red hair tied up looked angry and pointed the fork in her hand at her.

"Whatever you want, ma'am. You don't even know that I don't like apples and that's Lily's favorite food! You want me to die from an allergy?" Petunia snapped. She stood at the doorway and looked emotional when the woman threw the fork at her. Luckily she had good reflexes.

"What do you mean Rose? You said Tuney really likes apple pie and you just wanted to cook one kind as the dish. You never said Tuney was allergic?" Her father asked while looking at his wife's red face from anger.

"You can ask that to your dear wife, sir. Now let me pick up your favorite child and you will not disturb my training with grandfather." Petunia said annoyed. She slammed the door to the main corridor that was separate from the dining room.

Her mother, Rose, seemed unable to explain anything and chose to turn her face away.

Petunia herself was already inside the van and forgot all her mother's cruel words. Always Lily and Lily! Was Petunia really not worthy of love? Even though she had tried too much to get at least appreciation from her mother.

Petunia then started the car engine and immediately shifted gears. Her foot pressed the gas and the car left the Evans family yard.

***

"Hey Lily, who will pick us up later?" Marlene McKinnon asked, Lily's best friend along with Mary MacDonald.

"Right Lily! I can't wait to ride in a car!" Mary said.

"It's my sister. Well, I hope the one picking us up is my dad or mom. But my sister is actually not bad. She just..." Lily's sentence stopped.

The compartment door slid open, a handsome man with pale white skin, gray eyes and curly black hair that fell softly to his shoulders appeared. Sirius Black stood in the compartment.

"The train has arrived!" He said like a conductor.

"So we will follow you so we don't get lost! Prongs and Moony have been impatient since earlier. But you know, Wormtail strangely is quite excited for it." Sirius said.

"Black! You startled us." Mary MacDonald snapped. Her fluffy curly hair framed her small pretty face.

"What are you doing here Black? Why didn't you come with your friends?" Marlene protested.

"Just making sure of something. By the way Lily, the one picking us up this time is your dad or mom?" Sirius asked.

"Not both of them. It's my sister." Lily said.

"Sister?!" Another man's voice answered from behind Sirius. It was James!

"You never told us you had a sister, Evans." Remus said.

"Oh, not everything has to be said and told in the common room, you four. The smartest student in our year also has some secrets you know." Marlene exclaimed as she hugged Lily.

"Stop it. Yes I do have a sister. She is two years older than me and well, you really never met her. She rarely drops me off or picks me up at the platform. This is the first time. And she is a bit closed-minded about magic and such." Lily said again.

"She really is what is described as a true Muggle." Sirius muttered which could still be heard by Remus and James who were on Sirius's side.

Both of them looked at each other and decided not to say anything that might hurt Lily's feelings. After all, it was normal. Sirius was raised in a wizarding noble family.

"I hope you are not too shocked and I already warned you especially you, Potter and Black. Don't be nosy and cause trouble. She gets angry easily." Lily said again. She giggled cutely and walked toward the door.

The seven students walked along platform 9 ¾ following Lily who walked cheerfully while pushing her trunk. The other friends only carried one dimensional bag filled with some clothes. Marlene and Mary filled theirs with potions, beauty potions, beauty tools, and clothes. Meanwhile the Marauders put in some prank tools.

They also secretly put their wands into the dimensional bags. Slowly, Lily stopped and then waved her hand. A woman appeared who looked beautiful and strangely handsome(?) at the same time. The woman was very different from Lily. She was pale, with thin blonde hair, and gray eyes. She was also very tall. Even her height almost matched Sirius who was the tallest in their group. And even exceeded Remus's height.

"You waited long, Tuney? Sorry. These are my friends. From left to right. The one wearing glasses is James Potter, he is kind of the popular guy at our school. Then next to him Sirius Black, and this is Remus Lupin. Next to Remus is Peter Pettigrew." Lily said. And then hugged the two women beside her.

"These are Marlene McKinnon and Mary MacDonald who are my true best friends and helped me a lot in the wizarding world." Lily said.

Petunia stared at the messy curly black-haired man with round glasses. The one Lily introduced as James Potter. He had pale skin, a firm face, and his voice was a bit hoarse when he answered Lily earlier. And he had quite muscular hands. It seemed he did some kind of sport or joined a sports team at Lily's weird school whatever it was, Petunia felt the sport would not be the same as the sports she knew.

And there was a handsome and tallest man whom Petunia was sure could pass if he auditioned as a model. If she was not wrong his name was Sirius Black. Like a star's name. The man seemed to have the aura of a rich kid and a bit of noble aristocrat. He had neatly arranged curly black hair that fell on his shoulders. His skin was pale white and his eyes were gray, he had a charming smile.

Then a teenager who had terrible scars on his face. If she was not wrong his name was Remus Lupin earlier. Related to Lupin the thief? Still part of that phenomenal thief family? No. It seemed impossible. If the other young men were sensational, this one seemed like a calm ocean with strong currents underneath. He had beautiful amber eyes and smooth straight brunette hair that fell on his head. He looked polite and reliable. Good Lily, just choose this one if you want to get married.

And the last one. If she was not wrong his name was Peter Pettigrew. A man shorter than his three friends. Awkward, and clumsy. He was cute and a bit chubby like Vernon, Petunia's ex. And this one had dirty blonde hair and cute bunny teeth. His eyes were soft like caramel. He looked like a time bomb that could explode if his friends had too much energy and that polite and calm friend did not give special counseling on how the boy looked a bit left out from the three other teenage boys. A time bomb like this if it exploded would be very dangerous.

And then two girls who seemed to have excessive teenage vitality. Marlene McKinnon basically was a pretty young girl who was energetic. With dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. She was tall and even though not as tall as Petunia, she looked a bit athletic. Maybe she was the same type as James Potter. And she had a smile as bright as sunlight. Ah, blinding. Just like Lily's smile.

Then the last one. Mary MacDonald. She had tan skin, fluffy curly black hair that framed her small face. She was beautiful with her big eyes and a bit calmer than Marlene. Well, if Lily was not straight, Mary would be the better pick than Marlene.

After observing Lily's friends intensely, Petunia unconsciously smiled crookedly. Her sharp eyes stared at the teenagers who suddenly shivered in fear and looked at her in horror.

"Relax, kids. Nice to meet you all, like Lily probably already said on the train. I am Lily's sibling, more precisely her older sister. My name is Petunia Evans. Follow me and we will soon go back to Spinner's End." Petunia said.

Then the woman stopped for a moment. "Lily, where is Severus? Usually he would be with you. I already promised his father to bring him along." Petunia said.

At that moment Petunia could feel the change in atmosphere. The four teenage boys looked displeased and like they swallowed a sock-flavored candy, they looked so hateful that their expressions showed everything. And Lily's female friends looked at each other.

"Actually... I had a fight with Severus. He is probably with his evil friends." Lily said with a bit of annoyance. She also did not hide the annoyance and disappointment on her face.

"Oh?" Petunia then examined Lily's expression.

"Well, what can I do. I already promised that hook-nosed guy. He will give me a rare bullet inheritance from his father. We wait for him a bit. Don't worry about space, I brought dad's van." Petunia said.

Lily looked up. "Since when are you close with Mr. Snape?" Lily asked.

"Well, he helped me meet some good contacts for my research on weapons. Never mind, don't whine. And sorry kids, it seems we will be a bit late. Please wait a moment while I go find Ver." Petunia said.

"But Tuney—" Lily had not had time to speak and Petunia with her long strides was already far from her.

Sirius then looked at Lily. "Hey Lily, I never thought we would share a room with Snivellus."

"Sorry Black. I also never thought—"

Lily's words were cut off when Petunia pulled three teenage boys with her hands. Lifting their collars like kittens.

"Sorry friends. We have three more people. It seems Ver's friends will also start their journey to our 'trash' world" Petunia said. Pulling the collars of the three boys who were almost choking.

"Reg! How can you be here?" Sirius was shocked to see his brother dragged like a sewer rat and even pale almost dying from choking.

"Good grief Sister Lily, look Malfoy and Snivellus will die from lack of air!" James Potter, even though he did not like Slytherin, he would not let someone else die right in front of his eyes.

And what was with Lily's older sister? She dragged and lifted three people with one hand. One was a seventh-year senior student, one was in the same year as James and one was Sirius's younger brother who was in fifth year.

"Oh sorry. Alright. Severus Prince Snape, if you do not obey my words and make me fail to get the bullet from your father, I guarantee this summer you will not be able to lift your neck. So obey and I do not want to hear any sentence or bad fight in my van. That applies to everyone. Now follow me." Petunia said. Releasing the three boys' collars and walking away toward the wall. They finally arrived at King's Cross station.

They followed Petunia into the van and no one said anything. The atmosphere became very awkward even Lily who was cheerful and always could find topics did not say anything.

"Alright, since all of you are here for the first time, allow me to guide you. Consider me the tour guide this time. Lily, call dad and mom and tell them we will be a bit late." Petunia said. She pulled something from the car dashboard and a home phone appeared.

"We will tour London?" Lily asked excitedly.

"You could say that, I got a very big tip from someone for a case. Want to tour London city? Hey you wizard kids, what places make you curious?" Petunia asked as she glanced at the rearview mirror.

"Really we will tour Muggle London?! I'm curious about the mall! And also clubs!" James said.

"Well, I want to see a live music concert. Or maybe clubs too are fine. Anything that makes us have fun is okay!" Sirius said.

"I always hear this from Lily. Muggle shopping centers are neatly arranged. And I also want burger and soda! Lily brought it once but only one can and that was not enough to drink in the girls' dormitory." Marlene said.

"Tune, are you sure about taking kids who don't know technology around? We will be considered as bringing people who just came out of a cave!" Severus said.

At that moment, all eyes looked at Severus. "Sorry yeah, even though I'm pure-blood, I also know what a vinyl record is! And a fridge!" Lucius Malfoy said. Looking proud. And for Petunia who saw from the rearview mirror, it looked like an arrogant peacock.

"Even though I hate saying it, especially in front of Siri, I once saw radio and television at Uncle Alphard's house." Regulus said.

They seemed not to want to be insulted as cave people. "Wow! That's great! We can tour Muggle London together!" Mary exclaimed enthusiastically.

At least Petunia could have fun. Even though who knows she might get angry again when seeing the chaos that would be done by a group of people who really should not be gathered together.

***

London, xx xx 1976

Petunia turned the steering wheel calmly, her expression flat as usual, even though the corner of her lips almost lifted seeing how the ten wizarding teenagers suddenly became defensive about their knowledge of fridges and vinyl records. The new van drove away from the city outskirts toward the busier main road. The radio played softly, the BBC announcer's voice sounded clear, interspersed with rock songs that immediately made Sirius lean forward.

"Is that from a vinyl record?" Sirius asked.

"From the radio transmitter," Petunia answered shortly.

"What is a radio?" Sirius asked. He looked curious.

"Radio is a one-way electronic communication medium that sends music sounds, news, information using electromagnetic waves without wires. Sound is converted into signals broadcast by radio stations and received by radio antennas, then converted back into sound that can be heard." Petunia explained.

"Then what are electromagnetic waves? What is a wire? Signal?" Remus asked.

"Aha! We have someone interesting. I will explain to you later when we visit the science museum. Just wait Lupin Boy." Petunia said with a slight amused smile.

Lupin boy? What did that mean?

Severus snorted softly. "You sound like you're teaching a science class."

Petunia looked at Severus and narrowed her eyes. She smiled as if saying during this summer you will face hell training.

"I am indeed teaching," Petunia replied without turning. "For free too."

"And you will wait your turn when I teach you new techniques, Verus" Petunia said.

Lily frowned. "Since when did you become so close with Severus?" Lily asked who sat beside Petunia.

"Well, I already became close with that kid's father and then his mother. Then I was trusted to train that kid's stamina and make him exhausted so he does not explode during the summer." Petunia said softly.

They entered the city center. Old cream stone buildings stood close together, then slowly changed into more modern buildings. When Elizabeth Tower was visible in the distance, Lily held a small breath.

"Is that Big Ben?" Mary asked. She pointed at the clock tower and glanced at Lily. Lily had once told her and Marlene about this in the Gryffindor common room.

"The tower's name is Elizabeth Tower," Petunia corrected automatically. "Big Ben is the bell."

James whistled softly. "You Muggles even name bells."

"We also built parliament, the legal system, and an underground transportation network that does not depend on wooden sticks," Petunia answered lightly.

Lucius raised his eyebrows. "Sounds like national pride."

Lucius even though he did not want to admit it, secretly noted some things that he might propose when he already held the position as the new head of the Malfoy family and occupied a seat on the Wizengamot.

"It is indeed national pride." Lily murmured in her heart.

The van stopped near the station. Petunia turned off the engine and turned around. "Get out. We take the Tube."

Their reactions mixed between curious and doubtful. The stairs leading to the platform were filled with people in suits, women with knee-length skirts, and tired workers. The smell of metal and warm air filled the corridor. Remus observed the route map with serious interest, following the colored lines with his finger.

"Their clothes are very practical." Marlene murmured who felt happy seeing Muggle fashion that was more practical and neatly arranged.

"Right. We Muggles emphasize efficiency and practicality for better productivity. So everything has to be ergonomic." Petunia explained again.

The train came with a creaking sound. They entered, standing crowded with other passengers. Sirius seemed to enjoy the situation, while Regulus stood straight, unconsciously gripping his older brother's shirt, afraid of getting lost. Severus held the iron pole and stared at his reflection in the dark window.

After several stops, they returned to the van and continued the journey toward South Kensington. Petunia did not give long explanations when they entered the large museum building, only pointed toward the large hanging rocket model.

"That is a rocket," she said. "Humans went to the moon with something like that."

James laughed softly. "Really? I mean you really touched the moon? You Muggles?"

"Of course. We touched the moon and managed to set foot there and all that without magic. We are taught the law of cause and effect and it is far more complex and pushes us to keep chasing something. But, I think what humans have been chasing all this time is hope." Petunia repeated and stared at the rocket model.

Lucius looked at the outer space module replica with an unreadable expression. Regulus came closer, reading the plaque carefully. Severus stood beside Petunia.

"Hey isn't this too much?" Severus asked when Petunia explained many things.

"This project is the project to return my sister to the Muggle world! And slap my mother's face with the fact that my sister likes the Muggle world far from the world that my mother praises." Petunia said and stared sharply at Severus.

Severus did not reply, and chose to look around.

Afternoon was approaching when they finally arrived at the newly opened shopping center. Shiny floors, bright lights, stores arranged neatly. Marlene stared at the display windows with shining eyes. James immediately pointed toward the fast food restaurant.

Petunia ordered several cold Coca Cola bottles in glass, a big bag of chips, and burgers from the counter. Sirius opened the bottle with curiosity, took a gulp, then coughed a little because of the carbonation.

"What kind of potion is this?!" he said.

"No," Petunia answered calmly. "This is chemistry. And definitely not made with toad skin or whatever you put in your cauldrons."

They sat on plastic benches, ten wizarding teenagers in the middle of busy Muggle shoppers who did not realize their presence. For a moment, there was no difference in houses, blood, or ideology. Just teenagers laughing because the soda was too carbonated and the chips too salty.

Petunia observed them from behind her own cola bottle. London 1976 stood real around them, bright, noisy, and completely without magic. And for the first time that day, no one called Muggles primitive. Who knows, maybe this would bring some influence that changed the geopolitics in the wizarding world in a few years ahead. But that was later business.

At that time, Petunia returned to where the van was parked. They took the train again and now it was the journey home toward Spinner's End. Meanwhile, Severus sent an emergency call to his mother that his two friends would stay over.

Petunia offered her grandfather's house which had always been the hell training base by Petunia and followed by Severus who was forced to.

When the van entered the Evans family yard, Mrs. Evans and Mr. Evans were already standing in front of the house. They immediately hugged Lily and welcomed her with full affection. Petunia stepped aside a little. After all, this was the same as usual.

If Lily came home, she would be ignored again. Whatever. There was still her grandfather.

"Dad, I will put the keys on the table. And I will pack to grandfather's house." Petunia said loudly. But it seemed she was not noticed. That scene did not escape someone's eyes. Who looked at Petunia full of sympathy and felt the same feeling.

They entered the Evans family house. And Mrs. Evans showed two available rooms. Meanwhile Marlene and Mary could sleep in Lily's room. After showing the rooms, Mrs. Evans prepared dinner to entertain Lily's friends.

Meanwhile, Lily's friends realized that Lily's sister was no longer in the house. And only Sirius and James who happened to hear Petunia say goodbye to grandfather's house but were ignored by both parents and Lily. Even though the tour earlier quite opened their eyes to Muggle life that was far more advanced and practical than them even without magic.

Moreover, Sirius started acting strange now. And stared at Lily's photos hanging in the living room while Petunia's photos, there was not even one.

How painful. There were, but considered as none.

***

At the Snape family house, Petunia who carried a large bag on her back knocked on the Snape family door. Mr. Snape cheerfully told Petunia to sit on the sofa and prepared Severus's clothes in a bag to undergo hell physical training ala Petunia's grandfather. Which was also respected by Mr. Snape.

Severus came down together with Lucius and Regulus. They were followed by Mrs. Snape who looked better and a bit fuller. The woman smiled delivering her son and her son's two friends.

After all, the first Evans house was very large and only occupied by Petunia's grandfather. After all the training was only for Severus who had to build his muscles. And Snape's two handsome and pretty friends could stay over while looking at Muggle technology items from previous eras until now that were collected at Petunia's grandfather's house.

"You already ready Ver?" Petunia asked as she glanced at Severus's skinny shoulder carrying the rather large bag. It seemed Mr. Snape supported the plan to form his son's muscles so he did not experience the magic explosions that he hated very much.

"Why do you call Ver from the whole name Severus? You remember your ex whom you also called Ver?" Severus commented with a cold tone.

"Severus!" It was Eileen's voice. The woman looked at Petunia and with patience she said, "Forgive Severus. I will make sure he does not have such a very blunt mouth."

"It's okay Aunt Eileen. Ver is very cute when he tries to make other people annoyed." Petunia smiled relaxed as if the taunt had no effect on her.

"Do we have to walk? Can't we use the floo network or flying brooms?" Lucius asked.

"Sorry, I think not. But we can use bicycles. You can ride together with Ver and this handsome one goes with me." Petunia pointed at Regulus.

"Stay away from you, pervy aunt!" Severus immediately stood between Regulus and Petunia.

"Better you come with me and let senior Malfoy be together with Pet." Severus said who grasped the boy's hand away from Petunia who smiled teasingly. Strangely, that was far more annoying than the combination of James+Sirius when they planned stupid pranks.

"Well, then I with the pretty platinum blond. Relax, my bike is far taller than Ver's." The tall woman patted Lucius's shoulder.

The blond-haired man looked disgusted seeing the Muggle bicycle which for him was just an iron rod with two wheels and looked unsafe when ridden. Strangely, young Mr. Black climbed the back saddle without much protest and leaned on Regulus's back.

By Merlin, Lucius was in the summer between sixth and seventh year! He was very busy not to mention the parties that his father usually often held. And if he disappeared just like that without returning within three days according to the time limit he had agreed with his father, his inheritance rights could be revoked. After all, their original intention was exploration to the old Prince family home in Wiltshire, how did they suddenly end up here?

Strangely, the feeling was quite different from riding a broom. Who knows what the feeling was? Like riding a train without horses and without carriages. The scent of jasmine flowers and tea flowed softly from the woman's scarf as she continued pedaling and Lucius was behind.

They finally arrived at the end of the street. At a large house in Georgian style with walls painted white. The iron gate surrounded the yard and that large house. A middle-aged man wearing a black suit without a tie, opened the gate and gave a respectful greeting.

"Welcome, young miss. The great master waits for you in the living room. And welcome back, Mr. Snape, the great master expects your agility in this summer training." The middle-aged servant said.

"Thank you John. I will go inside. And I also brought two additional guests, please prepare two more rooms for my two guests" Petunia said.

"Yes, young miss. Ah, the great master told me that I must inform the young miss that your distant cousin will stay with the master starting now." The servant said.

Petunia frowned. As far as she remembered her father was an only child. So which cousin was this?

Severus had already walked ahead on the footpath. In front of that large house there was a beautiful fountain. Inside there were many ornamental fish kept by Petunia's grandfather. Lucius was interested in some of those ornamental fish and the fountain. It seemed, Muggles were not always primitive. This bicycle, train, rocket, television, fridge, and even this fountain. Lucius thought of building it at Malfoy Manor when he inherited that manor later.

Meanwhile Regulus Black saw the horses belonging to Petunia's grandfather which were in their stables. There was also a German Shepherd dog in a small house. Around the dog's neck there was a yellow collar with the engraved name 'Peony' which seemed not suitable with the dog's nature and appearance.

A cockatoo perched on top of the dog house and there was also a raven on top of a cage beside the large house. Then several white pigeon cages were visible.

"You interested in that? Petunia's pigeons sometimes do not look good if not with their owner." Severus said again.

"No. I like the cockatoo over there. Its colors are unique. Mix of blue, white, black and it has a weird yellow crest." Regulus said.

Severus smiled seeing his underclassman who seemed to have a sparkle in his eyes. Not like the face he always made in the wizarding world.

Not long after, a middle-aged man came out from inside the house. He seemed to have an aura that even exceeded the minister of magic. But when he spoke, it felt like all that aura evaporated like water. He had blue-gray eyes like Petunia's and blonde hair combed neatly backward. Half of that blonde hair had turned white.

"Petunia's friends yes. She already sent her letter with a pigeon earlier that you would come and stay. Introduce myself, I am Petunia's grandfather and also young Snape's martial arts teacher. My name is Edward Evans." His eyes narrowed and he smiled as annoyingly as the tall girl's.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Evans. I am Lucius Malfoy." Lucius almost bit his own tongue when he was about to leak about his identity as head boy at Hogwarts and perhaps reveal that he was a wizard.

"No problem. After all I know that magic, or supernatural things exist. I can see ghosts but cannot do the kind of miracles except magic tricks taught by my ancestors. By the way, my youngest granddaughter goes to wizard school and I know from Petunia that you are like young Snape and my granddaughter Lily, you are wizards." Mr. Evans laughed. A middle-aged female servant opened the house door and brought them into the large house.

"Grandpa, who is that?" A teenage boy's voice was heard. And a young man with curly black hair, emerald green eyes, and a lightning-shaped scar that crossed his right face, looked terrible. He had the face and hair of the Potter family. Wait! But James Potter was an only child. And James's father did not have older or younger brothers. So who was this boy?

Lucius and Regulus looked at each other as if sharing their thoughts through eye contact. And Severus gaped. Staring toward Petunia to ask for explanation which was only given a shoulder shrug by the tall woman.

"This is my grandson. He is the son of the aunt who is the child of the older sister of my brother's brother. And he is half British half Japanese. Introduce your name, Eri." Mr. Evans patted the teenager's shoulder.

"My name is Eri Natsume. Nice to meet you all and please help me." The teenage boy who was probably the same age as Severus said. The teenage boy was quite loud. And he did a strange movement in introducing himself like bowing too deeply.

"Oh so you started living with my grandfather?" Petunia asked enthusiastically.

"Yes! His mom and dad were involved in a car accident And because the remaining relatives are only us, he will live with grandfather starting now." Mr. Evans said and patted Eri Natsume's back proudly.

There was something wrong. Severus did not know what it was but he felt chills when he saw Eri Natsume's smile. And the way his eyes became only thin lines when he smiled. How what Severus felt apparently was also felt by Regulus and Lucius. A life-threatening feeling like a small animal seeing a predator.

What was up with this person?
