The room was dimly lit by a colorful array of lights. The bed was full of plushies and accompanying them was Zoey, playing with her switch, very frustrated with her teammates in this splatoon game.
The room´s door opens slowly. Zoey peeks above her switch seeing bright pink hair.
"Sorry Mir I will go to bed soon" Zoey takes another look at Mira as she puts the console on her lap "Babe are you ok?"
Mira looked at her in silence. Her eyes were glassy and slightly red. She walks to the bed and puts her head in Zoey´s chest.
Zoey puts her headphones and console away, then she stars threading her girlfriend hair with patience.
"Had a rough night?"
Mira nods without changing her position.
"Wanna talk about it?" Says Zoey, smiling sweetly.
Mira shakes her head slowly.
"Will kisses make you feel better?" She says while putting a hair behind the older girl hair.
Mira nods shyly.
Zoey cups her girlfriends head and starts peppering light kisses all across her face. Between kisses she whispers a couple of praises and corny pet names until Mira dissolves into a fit of giggles.
"That´s better" She says caressing the other girl cheek with her thumb.
"Wanna talk about what happened?"
Mira closes her eyes and melts into the touch "Now I feel a little bit dumb saying it out-loud"
"Mir I say dumb shit all the time, I don´t think whatever you got to say is going to be worse"
Zoey watches patiently as her girlfriends manages to find the courage to say whatever she needs.
"I dreamed that Rumi got stabbed and died in my arms" She says quietly "And when I didn't find her next to me in bed I got really scared, that´s why I came here"
"Aw baby…" She says sweetly before putting another kiss on her forehead.
Mira´s face turns red in embarrassment "I know its dumb"
"It isn't dumb silly" She presses another kiss on her cheek "Its kinda cute that you miss your girlfriend so bad that you conjure really fucked up scenarios in your mind just because she went to visit Celine for the weekend, like your a sad litle puppy"
Mira turns herself to face the other side of the bed "You are the worst" Says deeply blushed.
"You love me…" She teases and starts peppering her with kisses again.
BONUS:
Rumi wakes up in her childhood room. As usual the first thing she does is opening their group-chat to wish them a good morning and talk a little before packing up her things.
