i know this is mostly just a silly little texting fic but there's something to be said about the inherent yearning of seeing something in the world and sending it to someone with "you" or "us" i think. the whole "i'm thinking of you" and "everything reminds me of you" and "wherever i go, you are always there" of it all !! even in their periods of ghosting (ilya) or dating someone else (shane), especially with the texts that they didn't send to each other, i think that they were still thinking of each other and that's just......THE YEARNING OKAY THE YEARNING !!!

okay angst over i am furthering my "hollanov adopting cens rookies" agenda once again because it is my god-given right to, i will not stop !!! also long-suffering hayden pike agenda because that man will never catch a break when it comes to hollanov (they love him) !!! oh also another agenda i'm furthering is shane calling ilya "baby" that will never get old to me it is canon to me okay !!!
