Chapter Text

Yuji sighs as he looks at the clock on his phone. It reads 3:30; you were almost thirty minutes late to pick him up. He sighs even more dramatically than before, the wind picks up, and Yuji messes with the hood of his hoodie, quickly pulling it over his head and shoving his hands in his pockets, trying to keep warm.

A hand places itself on his shoulder, and Yuji jumps at the sudden pressure. He turns his head, expecting some random creepy person there, but instead, it was Gojo, Yuji’s gym teacher.

“Oh,” he sighs, silently adding to himself, thank God that it's just him. “What are you still doing here, Gojo? You usually are gone by now.” Gojo sighs exasperatedly before sliding an arm around Yuji's shoulders. Yuji turns his head in Gojo’s direction, tilting his head just slightly.

“I wanted to, but Principal Yaga wanted me to make sure that all the kids are gone,” He pauses, glancing at Yuji, then continues speaking, "and you are still here. So! Until your ride gets here, you get to be with the strongest gym teacher.” Yuji cracks a smile and opens his mouth to say something, but gets cut off by Gojo- “So how much to you wanna bet that your brother is gonna tag along with your…sister or whatever she is to you?” Yuji narrows his eyes in thought and thinks really hard about the question. Even if he didn't have money on him.

A laugh comes from behind them, and they both turn and see you. Hands in your pockets, hair peeking out from your hood. “I would hope you wouldn't bet anything,” you say, staring at them, taking a hand out of your pocket and placing it on your hip. Yuji smiles and wiggles out of Gojo’s grasp and walks towards you.

“Also, Gojo. Haven't you gotten in trouble for trying to make bets with students? I'm more surprised that Toji isn't making the bet!” You laugh softly before sliding the hand that was on your hip back into your pocket and grabbing your car keys. “I'm even more surprised that Yuji thought about it with no money on him.” Spinning them on your finger, you turn and walk in the direction of your car. Yuji says a quick ‘goodbye’ to Gojo and jogs to catch up to you. Gojo just stared, mouth agape at how Yuji left him so quickly.

You both settle in a comfortable silence, the only sounds being your shoes, as well as Yuji's tapping on the concrete. Before long, your car shows up in view. You unlock your car, its headlights flashing in response.

As you slide into the driver's seat, Yuji is doing the same in the passenger's seat. You ask, “How was school? Anything interesting happen?" Yuji smiles before looking at you. You look at him, hoping he elaborates.

And he does.

“Yeah, something interesting did happen. It was hilarious!" Yuji starts, taking a deep breath before continuing, “Some kid tried to warm something up in the microwave and put it in for too long, so the food lowkey blew up. The food was everywhere in it!” he laughs at the explanation. You glance half-heartedly at him. He's just giggling at the thought of the poor kid and the microwave. You laugh and shake your head. You really did feel bad for the poor microwave kid.

You put the car in drive and drive through the, thankfully still, empty parking spot. You hand your phone to Yuji, “You know how to set it up, right?" Yuji takes your phone and then nods.

“Yup!” he plugs the aux code into the aux and plugs it into the aux port. Then turn your phone towards you. "You need your password,” You sigh and take it from him and quickly put your password in. You hand it back to him, so you can return your attention, mostly, back to driving. Yuji takes your phone back and puts your playlist on.

“You think your brother is finally gonna be up?” You glance over at him, and he brings his finger to his mouth like he was using all of his brain capacity, which he probably was; you’ve seen his grades; you’ve heard Choso scold Yuji for them, never too harshly. He wouldn’t dare, or even dream, of hurting Yujis’ feelings.

You, on the other hand…you’ve scolded Yuji enough about his grades that he’s actually started to study, but asks Choso to help him with it, though; you aren’t too beat up about it.

You open your mouth as someone cuts you off, “Are you fucking serious? There’s no one behind! You could’ve waited, fuck ass dipshit.” Yuji draws his lips into a fine line and looks at your eyes wide with shock. He mutters something along the lines of “this is why I’d rather ride with Choso.” You are quick to turn your head and look at him.

“I’m sorry, but Choso is not any better than I am. He does, like, 10 under? And I only do 5 over,” You scoff at Yuji holding his hands up in defense.

He blinks a couple of times before speaking, “I didn’t say that he was better than you!” You cut him off by turning up the music. You look at him and shrug as he looks absolutely mortified, knowing that if Choso isn’t awake, you are gonna perfume bomb his room. Last time you did that, his clothes had your perfume on them for weeks.

His friends thought that he had gotten laid, only to be disappointed that he had just gotten pranked. Nobara looked relieved that it didn’t happen, because no way in hell was Yuji gonna get laid, or get into a relationship, before.

Megumi also looked relieved, and Yuji was confused as to why. But Megumi never said why and shrugged off all of Yuji’s questions.

You turn down the music as you drive closer to where your neighborhood was, just a respectful thing. Even if you lived in a kinda sketchy neighborhood, you knew better than to draw attention to yourself or any of your housemates. You smile softly as your small house shows up in view. Sure, it’s a little run-down, but it's your home. As you pull up to the curb and park, the neighborhood’s stray comes jogging from the next house up. You park the car and twist the key, turning the car off. As you take the key out, you look over at the passenger side, only to find Yuji already scurrying to the front door, probably hoping to find Choso awake.

Sighing, you unplug your phone from the aux cord and open your car door. You slide out of the seat, the wind immediately taking advantage of the fact that you were in a nice, warm car. It seems like it's blowing little pieces of thin ice in your face. You shiver and pull your jacket closer to you. You shut the door, locking your car, and you jog towards the front door. Figuring that Yuji probably let the stray cat in, I mean, you guys feed it, and it’s so sweet.

As you walk into the house, you get hit with a wall of heat. You chuckle softly as you are so glad the heater didn’t go out, sliding your shoes off, you hear Yuji talking to someone in the kitchen. You turn and walk into the kitchen, Yuji’s talking to Choso. Damn, I really wanted you perfume bomb him again, you think, frowning softly. But as you look at the scene in front of you, Yuji sitting at the small island in the middle, it’s more towards the entrance of the kitchen, but who really cares? As Yuji is sitting there, he’s talking to a, currently, shirtless Choso whose back is turned towards Yuji.

You walk towards the island and take a seat next to Yuji. He glances in your direction, still talking, but you just nod towards Choso. He looks away, seemingly more expressive, and continues to yap about his day. You sigh, get up and push in your chair, walking to the fridge to grab out your drink, you try to catch Choso’s eye, hoping for some kind of acknowledgement from him, but nothing! You gape at him, watch him making something for a little bit, then turn and walk out of the kitchen, and towards your room upstairs.

Yuji pauses as he watches you as you try to get Choso’s attention, only to be disappointed. He watches in bewilderment. Usually, Choso says hi to you. “What was that about? You usually greet them,” Yuji states. In response, Choso let his shoulders droop and sighed.

He turns and looks at Yuji, arms crossing over his chest, “Just…upset at them for not trying harder to wake me up.” Yuji stares at his brother. He slightly cocks his head to the side, a questioning look on his face.

“You sure?” Yuji asks. Choso huffs out a breath, shaking his head. He turns back around to finish whatever he was working on. The stray cat meows at the door, then looks back at Yuji. He sighs, wishing that the cat would wanna stay inside longer.

———-

Upstairs, you’ve taken off your jacket, just lying on your bed in your tank top and sweatpants. You’ve been staring at the ceiling for God knows how long. Your music is playing softly in the background, and you occasionally hum along with the song.

You continue lying on your back for three more songs, stretching, and then you sit up. You reach over to your phone and pause your music. You look at the time and half-scoff, half-chuckle at the time. How was it almost already five? You blink a couple of times, thinking about whether it was your turn to make dinner. Sliding off your bed, some stuffed animals fall off, and you’re quick to pick them up. You walk over to your door. Praying that Choso is in a better mood than he was in earlier. You pull your door open and walk out of your room, closing the door behind you. As you walk down the dark hallway, you hear Yuji and Choso having a conversation.

As you walk down the old, creaky stairs, they pause and watch as you descend the stairs. You look at them, confused, “What? You guys stop talking, it's making me think that you are talking about me.” You walk towards the couch and lean over the backside, where Choso and Yuji are sitting.

”Why’d you think we’d be talking about you? If we were, it wouldn’t be anything bad,” Choso speaks up, turning his head to look at you. You look at him, he’s got his shirt on, unfortunately, you think to yourself.

You sit your bottom lip out in a mock pout, quick to catch Choso’s eyes flickering down to them, “Aw, I’m glad!” You wrap your arms around each boy’s neck and pull them closer, falling even more forward, in an awkward side hug. Yuji leans into the hug, while Choso stiffens at first, then relaxes in the embrace. You let them go and push yourself off the back of the couch. You glance up at the clock in the living room, squinting due to the low light in the living room. You can make out that it’s five o’clock.

“Also, is it my turn to make dinner, or are you off tonight?” You ask. You know you should know who is making dinner, but Choso has such a screwed-up work schedule, but hey, whatever makes money, and he still somehow finds time to be with you and Yuji.

Choso’s eyebrows furrow in thought before he speaks, “Uh. I am off tonight, so I can make dinner, if you want,” he shrugs, looking at you. Yuji smiles, eyes glinting mischievously.

“I could make din-“ He gets cut off with both you and Choso saying “no!” He laughs as you both stare at him. You, in horror; Choso, in astonishment. Last time Yuji tried cooking, he had pretty much started a fire. Now, he’s not allowed to cook anything but microwaveable food. Even then, it won’t turn out perfect. Poor kid can’t cook to save his life.

He puts his hands up and shrugs, “Just a suggestion.” You stare at him, accidentally cutting Choso off.

”Yeah, a poor suggestion.” You scoff. Yuji shrugs again and goes back to trying to find something on the TV. You sigh. Choso looks at you.

”I can make dinner,” he pauses, “I wanted to anyway.” With that, he gets up and walks towards the kitchen. You steal his seat and watch whatever Yuji puts on. Only to frown when you realize it's a movie with Jennifer Lopez in it. You get off the couch and walk upstairs to your room to grab your phone, and head back down.

When you get back downstairs, you sit back down in Choso’s spot again. You scroll through social media until Choso comes into the living room with two plates, one for you and one for Yuji. You put your phone down and take your plate from him, you turn to ask him where his plate is, only to find him walking back into the kitchen. You look at the food on your plate, even if it wasn’t the healthiest, it looked good. You stare at the plate, wondering what to eat first, the waffle fries or the nuggets.

You decide on the fries first because they never taste good cold. You eat the fries, trying to ignore Yuji, who is absolutely inhaling his food. You laugh as you watch him.

”Dude, slow down, the food isn’t running away.” You watch as Yuji pauses and looks at you, just as Choso walks into the living room and steals a fry or two from Yuji’s plate.

Shrugging as he says, “I don’t know... it might.” Yuji stares at his brother sitting on the beanbag close to the coffee table.

You hum, “I don’t know, that may be a willing sacrifice.” You pop another fry into your mouth. You guys settle into a calm silence, the TV’s still on the same movie. You get up with your plate, which is now empty, and walk to the kitchen, putting your plate away in the dishwasher. As you walk out of the kitchen and into the living room, you let the boys know that you will be getting into the shower, and they nod in acknowledgement. You walk up the stairs, turning your bathroom lights on, then head to your room to grab clean clothes.

When you do get into the shower, your mind drifts as you remember what it was like when you and Choso first moved in. You were so happy to have your own house, even if it was just being rented. When you had asked Choso, he said, “Yeah, I’d love to, but don’t wanna leave Yuji at home. Something is going on over there, so if you don’t mind, could he come with me too?” You had narrowed your eyes, you’d hardly talked to Yuji, let alone share a house with him, but with Choso practically giving you puppy eyes, it was hard to say no.

So, here you are now! Sharing a house with your best friend, who you totally don't have small, blossoming feelings for, and his younger brother, who you consider your brother, too.

You smile softly as you twist the water out of your hair, before turning the, now cold, water off. You pull the curtain open, grab your towel, and wrap it around your body. You dry off, quick to put your clean clothes on. You pull the shower curtain closed so it doesn’t grow mildew. Flushing the toilet, forgetting whether or not you had used it before getting into the shower. You turn the lights off, twist the doorknob, and walk out of the bathroom, towards your room.

You curl up on top of your bed, with a blanket, and scroll through social media again, only to get hooked and doomscroll until you feel yourself drift off.

———-

The sight underneath you is absolutely breathtaking. Choso’s hair is stuck to his forehead and sprays out underneath him. His breathing stutters as you roll your clothed crotch against his own. You sigh at the friction as you slide your hands up his shirt, feeling the muscle tease underneath your touch. You pull one hand out of his shirt and place it on his cheek, you lean forward and meet his lips.

He whimpers into the kiss, just as you do the same, his hands find your hips and pull you down, harder, trying so hard to get more friction. You chuckle softly as you pull away, a string of saliva connecting from your lips to his.

”Let me get your shirt off first, okay?” You ask, pulling at the hem of his shirt. He nods vigorously, helping you pull it off, and after getting his shirt off, you scoot down and slide a finger under his waistband.

His eyes flutter so beautifully at the touch, he opens his mouth, “Please..” he begs.

You smile as he closes his eyes, “Please what, Cho? I‘m gonna need more than that,” you lean forward and press an open-mouthed kiss on his neck, sucking so sweetly. His hips buck slightly, hands finding your hips.

”Please..please just use me..I need you so bad, baby,” he begs. Your stomach flutters at his plea. You sit up straight, tugging lightly on his waistband.

”Anything for you, Choso.” You tug his pants down, and slide your hand down his boxers. Your hand finds his cock, slowly you start pumping it, watching as your best friend’s eyes close and moans, “Look at you... so pretty, just my pretty boy.” He brings his hands up to cover his face, “Nonono, let me see, gorgeous.” You take your hand out of his boxers and tug them down.

Your eyes flutter open at the sound of your alarm, and suddenly you’re in your bed. The light filtering in from the curtains lights it up. You rub your eyes and think real hard about why the fuck you’d be dreaming about Choso like that. You bring your hands up to your face and groan loudly. Turning over onto your back, you pull your hands down your face. You place your hands down on your bed with a soft ‘plop.’

You close your eyes and take a deep breath before turning your alarm off and sitting up. You pull the small blanket off you and stretch. You slide off your bed, pull your door open, and do a shameful walk to your shared bathroom. As you pull the bathroom door open and closed, you look in the mirror. Your pupils are blown huge, and your cheeks are slightly flushed. You scoff as you turn the sink water on and use the toilet.

After you flush, you wash your hands, then rinse your face. Hoping to wash away the shameful feeling pooling in your gut. He was so pretty, you think, then shake your head to get rid of the thoughts. You look at your reflection once more, your hair is a mess, and your eye bags are visible. You scoff and walk out of the bathroom and towards your bedroom. You grab your work uniform and begrudgingly walk back to the bathroom to change into it.

Afterwards, you walk downstairs and into the kitchen, writing a quick note to Choso and Yuji, saying that you are at work. Then you grab your wallet, keys, and walk out to your car, heading to the small bakery that unfortunately pays minimum wage.
