Chapter Text
Theo knocked on the door twice, before pushing it open with a creak. “Morning Pa—Majesty.” he corrected himself, earning him a soft chuckle from across the room. “You called for me?”
He was greeted by the sight of Parrot sitting on the edge of his bed, crown glittering against the dim light. A book was displayed on his lap, though Theo couldn’t make out the title from the doorway.
“Just call me Parrot dude.” He replied, before gesturing with his hand.
“Come inside.”
Theo shut the door behind him with a soft click.
The chamber was draped head to toe in extravagance. Colorful green, blue, and yellow banners, golden jewelry, and everything else one could expect of a ruler’s quarters.
Theo pulled out a chair, seating himself onto the velvet cushion.
“So uh… How’s ruling so far?”
“Well, I'd say it’s going great. Sure, there were a few complaints here and there,” Parrot said, setting his book on the bedside table. “Though nothing I couldn’t handle. It’s nice”
“Okay…” Theo muttered beneath his breath, shifting in his seat. “Why’d you call me?”
“I have plans to help the new players, you know?
Sure, we’ve already done a lot, but it still feels incomplete.”
Parrot’s gaze drifted to him, lips softening to a smile.. “But that’s not the reason why I called you here. I’m really grateful for everything you’ve done for me, Theo.”
Theo’s eyes widened, a faint red tinting his cheeks as he quickly looked down on the floor, scratching the back of his head. “Uh—thanks.”
“So, I’ve decided to give you a reward.”
Theo tilted his head.
Parrot patted the mattress beside him.
Taking the hint, Theo stood up and moved to sit next to him.”
“For the past few days, I’d been hearing uhm…” Parrot hesitated slightly. “Sounds, coming from your room.”
Theo tensed.
“Oh uh—what are you talking about? Haha…” He let out a nervous laugh, refusing to meet Parrot’s eyes.
“Our rooms are beside each other, You can be quite noisy.” Parrot teased, laughing softly. “Be thankful the guards don't have vc.”
Parrot then rose from his position, the sudden movement startling Theo a bit.
He then turned to face him, looking down at him with a more focused expression. “I figured that as a reward, I'd help ease you out a bit.”
He slowly sank to his knees on the floor between Theo’s legs, tilting his head. “So?”
Silence.
And then,
“I—fuck—what are you even trying to say man I…” Theo stumbled with his words, a breathless laugh escaping him.
“You know what I’m talking about, I know you're not that stupid.”
Theo let out a shaky sigh.
“Yeah—sure.”
