Fae Terra: My original type of personifications. Takes a lot of inspiration from Hetalia, but it’s really its own concept at this point. Fae Terra, or ‘Fae of the Earth’ are fae that are tied to land and culture. They cannot die, but depending on the power level of the region they represent, their healing factor can become weaker. Specific families of this species are gifted certain power sets by their Patron God, but all share the same base powerset. They do not have to heel to their leaders, and interpersonal relationships are generally valued more than ones based solely off their work. They go by human names. For example, ‘Fleur Beaumont’ for France.
Spirit Terra: My ex-countryhuman AU, now repurposed after I realized I wanted to go with a different direction. Spirit Terra or ‘Spirits of the Earth’ and spirits tied to people and governments. They don’t really ‘die’, but once the government they represent they are free to do as they like. They have minor healing factors dependent on their nation’s power levels and specific powers tied to family. Spirits are close with the fae. While still ‘alive’ they will focus more on business relationships, but interpersonal are more important when ‘dead’. They do not know/do not have a choice in what their governments are doing. This has caused multiple suicides. They go by human names, for example ‘Ame Washington’ for America.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION:
Sure, I use problematic characters in my writing, but they are not representative in my beliefs and I do not support fascism. The way I present my characters for my ‘sprite’ AU was in a way that I really disliked as a Countryhuman AU, hence why it is no longer so. Therefore, the characters I write here are not connected to the countries they are/were tied to.
