covered with kisses and lies

Summary:

Fresh faced eighteen year old Ferid Bathory is over the moon when he gets a call for an opportunity to work for the music industries top talent agent Saito. What he misses amongst his eagerness to learn is just how fond his new boss is of him.

Notes:

I have labelled this story as rape/non-con as a warning for future chapters. How graphic I will be is not determined at this time, I will update with appropriate warnings as I move forward. The nature of Saito and Ferid's relationship is one of abuse. If you are not comfortable reading the non-con than this is not this side story is not for you. You have been warned. Also, thank you to mrblank8l for being my sound board and contributing so much to the backstory!

Chapter Text

15 years before

Ferid doesn’t get nervous. Given, nothing has ever quite mattered enough to him to warrant the tightened chest, accelerated heart rate, or the shortness of breath well until now and God was it painful! Not just the physical aching but the waiting. The anticipation clawing at the lining of his stomach as it flips and turns. He's sure Saito is doing this on purpose, testing him to see just how badly he wants this position. It’s a dream come true really to be given the potential opportunity to be the assistant of such a mogul in the music industry as Saito. Ferid was thoroughly surprised to receive the call in the first place as he was sure the CEO had no knowledge of the slew of interns that were around last year let alone be able to pick out Ferid and remember his name.

He ran sweating palms along the top of his thighs, disregarding the effort that was put into pressing his dress pants this morning. None of that mattered, what does is that Saito opens that door. this. instant!

And as if the man read Ferid’s very own thoughts, the heavy wooden door swings open into the waiting reception and out he walked. As poised as ever with his hand-tailored suit emphasizing his tall, slender physique; his slicked hair parted neatly and a brilliant smile of pearl white teeth. Ferid would not want anything more than to be just like him!

“Ferid, is it, why don’t you come in?” The extra brilliance that comes with the warm smile makes Ferid’s already jittery legs go weak. Lifting himself from the chair gently, he slowly follows Saito into the grand corner office. Beyond the wooden door and concrete wall facing the offices are walls made of glass! Light streams in illuminating the room in hues of yellow and orange, softening the harsh glass shelves and desk (which surprisingly had nothing on it).

“Take a seat,” Saito offers as he falls back into his enormous leather chair, that same smile never leaving his face. Ferid does what he is told, his brain already too much in overdrive to do anything else; so much so that he trips over his own feet and flops into the chair. Face now a brilliant red brings a chuckle past Saito’s lips. “Nervous are we?”

Ferid refuses to answer, just incase that’s the one thing that doesn’t land him the position. “I assure you, there is no need for that Ferid-kun, I’ve already decided to give you the position.”

His already big, bright, blue eyes grow even wider along with the spread of a grin that he cannot contain. Father had always told him to never give away just how eager you are, that others take advantage of the excitement you portray but Ferid did not care about his father’s run of the mill business advice. “What? Really? No interview, no nothing?”

Saito laughed, shaking his head as he got back out of his chair and sat on the desk directly in front of his new assistant. “You’re too cute,” he says running his fingers through Ferid’s silver hair. Normally, most people would feel a twinge of unease with how close their brand new boss got to them but Ferid paid no mind. The adrenaline in his veins muting the multitude of alarms that should have blared through his head. “No nothing, just a little bit of tedious paperwork you can file yourself as my new assistant.”

“Thank you, sir, thank you!” He beams, almost jumping out of his seat and grabbing Saito’s hand for a solid handshake but he refrained.

“Please, call me Saito,” he says. “Though, I do have a small request before you start working.”

“Yes, anything !” Something deep down told Ferid that being this open was dangerous but much like Saito running his hand through those silver bangs Ferid did not care.

“Have dinner with me. My treat, you pick.”

“It’d be an honour, si-Saito,” he answered grinning, too lost in his own euphoria to see the curl of a smirk at the corner of his boss’ lips and the hungry look in his eyes as he runs his lithe fingers down the pale skin on Ferid’s face.
