"Something's going to change. I'm gonna do something," Lee ranted. He was never a happy drunk.
"I know," You said, watching him pace around the room. "Lee, sit down for a minute. Walking around isn't going to change the world."
He let out an agitated sigh, sitting down on the couch next to you. You rested your head on his shoulder, yawning.
"There are so many people out there who want change like you. You just gotta find them, get organized."
"God, I wish it was easier to find them! I'd love to get organized. They're certainly not making it easy."
"Calm down for a second, Lee. You're smart. You'll make it work," You said, raising your head to press a small kiss to his cheek.
He sighed, wiping his face.
"I love you," You said, quietly.
"I know, I love you too." He said, raising his hand to brush your hair from the side of your face. He leaned down and kissed your forehead.
You grinned, wrapping your arms around him, pulling him into a hug, which he reciprocated. You moved back for a second to kiss him quickly, just a peck, then hugging him tighter, pressing your face into the crook of his neck.
What on earth would he do without you?
