The honeycomb castle. The very place where all the Morals previously scattered across the continent, are discussing what to do about the Vices.
"Redemption is our best option," said Sunny Honeybee Cookie, as some of the other Morals gave him slightly skeptical looks, doubtful of his idea, but hearing him out. "They could help us defeat Lethal Mold Cookie without resorting to destroying our Life Jewels or doing something that would bring more harm than good to us, and cookie kind."
"My dearest knight, the Vices had fallen from their divine grace many millennials ago. Hundreds of thousands of cookies with the same ideas as us have crumbled just by simply entering their territory," replied Fizzy Rootbeer Cookie
"But those cookies were the average dough. We are some of the most powerful cookies on Earthbread!"
"Sunny, If anyone is most likely to get past their Vice, it would be you. You have half of a Witch's power and a Life Jewel's power. The rest of us only have our Life Jewel's," countered Crispy Kale Cookie.
"Touché, but from we do know, is that their powers have weakend over time, and have weakend much more with us sharing the Life Jewels with them. So even if I am the strongest here, and baked with Witch's magic, with how long its been, you all should be close to an even match with your Vices as well."
"But what if they do hurt us? What if we aren't close to an even match with our Vices?" Trusty Fudge Cookie pondered outloud.
"Then we still need to treat them with kindness," replied Blooming Rose Cookie in a quiet but assertive voice, "They are still cookies too, and we need to respect that. They aren't going to easily join our side, but they also are not pure monsters who need to be crumbled."
"We don't know much about the Vices, but we must try. Lethal Mold Cookie will not wait forever, so we need to act now." Sunny Honeybee said with hope.
"So, what's our plan?" Asked Fizzy Rootbeer Cookie curiously.
"Our main priority is to get the power of the Life Jewels, let it be through the Vices themselves, or us taking the Life Jewels, but we should make a valiant effort to redeem them just to have more cookies with us in the war," Peanut Butter's words made the room fall in a heavy silence, with the acknowledgement of the inevitable war, "but if the point rises to the point of one of your Vices becoming unredeemable, attempt to take the Life Jewel and leave as quickly as you can."
Silence fell for once in the meeting room as all Morals processed this plan.
"...Simply taking the Life Jewel's from the Vices will anger them further," Fair Coconut started, "and would endanger us far more."
"So what's the alternative? Crumble them with power they had eons to master?" Crispy Kale asked.
"No," Blooming Rose Cookie firmly objected, "We will not crumble them regardless. As Peanut Butter Cookie said, we want as many powerful cookies on our side as possible. The Vices would be our best chance for that."
"What if we captured them?" Suggested Fizzy Rootbeer Cookie, "The Vices were once kind and friendly cookies, so if we capture them, we should be able to get the chance to redeem them and get the power of the Life Jewel's."
The other Morals gave a acquiesce nod.
"I see no objects to this plan, yes?" Questioned Sunny Honeybee Cookie.
Murmurs of agreement rippled through the now less tense meeting room as the meeting slowed down.
"I believe we have discussed all that is needed to be discussed, and assuming no questions remain, this meeting is dismissed."
And this is how, Sunny Honeybee Cookie, Fizzy Rootbeer Cookie, Blooming Rose Cookie, Crispy Kale Cookie, Peanut Butter Cookie, Fair Coconut Cookie, and Trusty Fudge Cookie all make their travels to the dreadful continent where the 7 terrifying Vices reside in, Vice Rice. And it is there, where they shall encounter some of the worst things they declare. Some may die. Some may thrive. This chapter here however, shall come to an end.
