Summary:
November 18th was a good day for Tommy Shelby. It was the day he and his brothers had boarded a ship and were returning home. For Nurse Katherine Carter, it was the worst day of her life and he witnessed her violation. All alone and broken, Thomas Shelby offers her shelter with his family. As she recovers slowly, she watches Thomas start to fall in love with Grace Burgess. But then, she can't blame him. After all, who would ever love a broken bird like her in the first place?
