Chapter Text
“Damn it!” Robby yelled slamming his
locker shut.
“Again?” Abbots voice came from behind him. While he didn't technically work tonight he did come to help out earlier with an emergency involving a car pile up, so he stuck around to give his husband a ride.
“Yeah it happened again,” the alpha sighed while rubbing his eyes. For the past few weeks someone had been going to his locker and stealing things. Not anything expensive, just clothes. So far he has lost 5 t-shirts and 3 hoodies.
“Not sure whats going on but I lost a shirt yesterday too,” Jack told him, only sounding slightly less annoyed than his husband. “It wasn't even a good shirt, it was old and I had worn it to the gym before my shift so it definitely wasn't the nicest smelling.”
Robby couldn't help but grimace at the thought of that smelly shirt, so maybe this wasn't the worst thing to happen. But the problem is it's not just the two alpha attendings who are losing their clothes to a mysterious thief. He has had multiple different doctors come up to him and complain about this.
His thoughts were interrupted by Dana “Good you are both still here.”
“Don't tell me,” jack sighed leaning up against the wall, “something of yours mysteriously went missing.”
The beta raised an eyebrow, “while I did lose my scarf today, no thats not what I came to talk to you both about. The nurses have been telling me that there is apparently a ghost in the hospital.”
“Excuse me?” Robby couldn't believe what he was hearing, first a thief now a ghost. He was getting way too old for this.
Throwing her hands up in the air Dana said , "I'm just telling you what I heard, they keep hearing sounds coming from the abandoned floor.”
“Okay so why tell us, you need us to be ghost busters.” Jack smirked
“I want you two to be the alphas you supposedly are and go check it out. Look it probably nothing but the nurses would feel better if someone went and looked.”
Robby felt a growl bubbling up from his throat. This was a long shift and all he wanted to do was go home and scent his husband but now he has ghost to fight.
Before he could get to lost in his own misery he felt a hand grab the back of his neck. The calm that washed over him was instant. He didn't have to look to know it was Jack.
“It's okay dana we will go check it out. Won't we Micheal?” Jack asked never removing his hand from robbys neck.
“Yeah..” robby mumbled back.
“Thank you. It shouldn't take too long just a quick walk through then you can get this grumpy alpha home and in bed.” She said directing that last part at abbot.
“..not grumpy.” Robby said trying to depend himself
“Sure you're not,” Jack cooed while rubbing thumb across his still cupped neck. Most alphas would be annoyed by this kind of behavior but Robby wasn't like most alphas. “Let's go check it then we will get you home.”
“Fine.” Robby huffed.
Neither of them where prepared for what they were about to walk in on.
