Pretty In Pink

Chapter 1: Awkward encounters

Chapter Text

The Wheeler family's door slammed shut after Nancy entered it, Nancy stormed upstairs until her mother stopped her by grabbing her wrist, “Nancy, what’s wrong? Don’t slam the door please, you’re gonna break our door one day.” Nancy clenched her jaw with a sharp exhale, she bit the inside of her cheek, her gaze softened before her lips parted to speak,“it’s nothing, really mom I’m fine.” Nancy looked irritated and upset, her mother could tell due to her clenched jaw and glossy eyes.

“Nancy, I know something’s wrong. Just talk to me, I’m always here.” Nancy looked over at her pleading mother and sighed. “Mom I mean it, I'm fine.” Nancy weakly smiled, a painful shimmer in her eye. “Well, if you are like you say i’ll drop it sweetie.” Her mother started to walk away to the kitchen then stopped in her tracks and swiftly turned back to Nancy. “...Someone is waiting up there for you, she said she was worried about you, she’s been over here before. I always forget that girls’ name.” Nancy’s brow twitched up slightly, her eyes squinting to ponder who it might be.

Nancy looked back at her mother as she tightly held a sponge to wash a few dishes, “Ah, okay. Thanks mom.” Nancy looked down at her feet, then to the first step of the stairs, instinctively she was hesitant. Who could be up there?

As Nancy reached the second floor, she heard shuffling in her room, a drawer shut and her window snap closed. She hurried to open the door to her room, “Robin?” Nancy blurted out with a slight anger and a dash of confusion. “O-oh hey nance.” Robin had frozen in place with one of Nancy’s cassettes in her hand, she slowly and lightly set it down back onto her dresser that’s cluttered with different trinkets that perfectly described Nancy in different ways. Nancy looked around “Why are you even here?”

Robin quickly stood up straight prior to her leaning position, she walked up to Nancy and leaned in just close enough for Nancy to feel her faint breath and see her light, bunched up freckles. “Oh I was just w-worried about you, that’s all. I heard about what ha-happened with the college application with Jonathan, not trying to sound stalkish or anythi-“ “Robin,” Nancy sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, “I’m not in the mood right now.” Nancy growled, she raked her fingers through her curls and clenched her teeth.

Nancy scoffed in irritation, “it’s just, Jonathan, we’re taking a break then he just… whatever! It’s completely none of your business an-and how did you even find out about that?” Nancy threw her hands up, her eyes wide. “I don’t need you here! I can handle myself just fine on my own.” Robin looked at Nancy’s expression, her face flushed with guilt.

Nancy then shoves past Robin, “s-sorry I’m not trying to be in your personal business!” Robin rambled, moving her hands along with her words. “It's just I’m not trying to sound creepy or sound like a weirdo!" Robin closed her eyes in regret, a shaky breath escaped her lips; “Look, all I’m trying to say is, I’m sorry nance.” Her voice grew raspy and raw.

Robin hooked her finger underneath the collar of her dress shirt, loosening the tie she wore, and looked Nancy up and down, a dry gulp slid down her throat. Nancy rummaged through her closet and pulled out her usual pajamas, a pair of baby pink shorts and a short sleeve button up that went with it. Nancy had thrown the thick jacket on the floor and slipped her shirt halfway off, Robin jerked her head the other way and bit her lip slightly as she clenched her eyes shut.

Nancy looked over with her shirt hoisted on her elbows, her dirty jeans sprawled out right next to her feet. “Shut up.” Nancy scoffed, Robin looked over on instinct and saw her lacy panties and Robin choked out a soft gasp. “S-sorry, you-“ Nancy walked over, she snatched her tie pulling her face just a hair away. “W-what the- n-nance..?”

Robin couldn’t focus on Nancy’s face when there was Victoria’s Secret pretty pink lace just out in the open. Robin’s bangs brushed Nancy’s forehead. Nancy notices Robin's eyes slowly darting down her body, Robin's eyes stuck on one spot, Nancy wraps Robin's tie around her fist and brings her free hand up to grasp Robin's jaw guiding her eyes up to Nancy’s eyes.

Robin lets out a soft gasp, her gaze gentle and needy. “Instead of sounding like a weirdo, you look like one, so much for that.” Robin leaned in and held her waist, moving her in closer. Nancy raised her brows, surprised Robin even got the confidence to do that. The air was thicker and their breathing was hot with want.

Robin slipped her knee between Nancy’s thighs and pulled her waist on just a little bit more, Robin leaned into the crook of Nancy’s neck and kissed just above her collar bone. Nancy grit her teeth and huffed, Robin’s hand went higher to the back strap of her bra, “Is this oh-uh o-okay..?” Robin’s voice lowered, in an uncertain tone, a tug away from unclasping her bra.

Nancy grabbed Robin’s tie, pulling her along up into the desk just at the end of her bed. Nancy pulled Robin's face in by her tie smashing her lips to her own, then leaving Robin with a bite on her bottom lip. A prickle of red just hardly showed. Nancy smirked as she leaned back to meet Robin's eyes, “Mhm.” She purred.

Robin's eyes fluttered in a sudden surprise, but she didn't hesitate to undo Nancy’s bra. Robin quickly threw it on the floor and slid her hand down to Nancy's waist, then right back up to greet her boob. Robin hummed, wondering what Nancy thought at the moment. Robin returned her hand to Nancy’s waist and began to move down ever so slightly with her tongue out in earnest. Nancy’s head flew back, she bit her lip hardly hiding a moan.

Her legs attempted to close shut but Robin's knee made sure that wouldn't happen. Nancy held Robin's head, her fingers intertwined in Robin's hair. Robin continued to tease at her nipple whilst twisting and pinching the other with her free hand.

Robin broke away from her nipple, her free hand now slipping down to the waistband of her panties. Robin dropped down to her knee, gripping Nancy’s thigh before letting out a shaky breath. Robin leaned forward before stopping in her tracks, “Nance,” Robin murmured as she slowly kissed up her stomach, just before stopping at her navel she looked up. Robin’s brows curled and her lips pressed into Nancy’s stomach one last time before she opened her mouth to speak,

Please, can I?” Robin begged.

Robin turned her head to the soft, plush skin of Nancy’s inner thigh. She looked up at Nancy and waited for an answer, kissing a light speckle without breaking eye contact. Nancy rolled her eyes and brought her hand down to bring Robin's chin up,

What did I say?”

Robin sticks her tongue out and lifts her thigh up for more ‘clearance’ she sees a wet spot start to form and her mouth starts to water. Robin falls forward and licks the spot just hard enough for Nancy to wince, Robin takes in the comforting sound and takes her time making sure Nancy feels every lick. Robin breaks away from her trance and moves away from her now saliva covered lace, moving down to her inner thigh leaving marks that only Robin could reach.

As Robin nipped at Nancy’s inner thigh, a few quick knocks caused both of them to flinch, Nancy’s head whipped towards the door as did Robin’s. Robin pulled her hands off Nancy as if she had been burned, then hurriedly stood up putting her hands to her side. Nancy rushed to fix her hair and grabbed a shirt off the floor to cover her chest.

With a clenched jaw, Nancy’s eyes drifted over to Robin, she then heard her mothers’ voice, “Nancy, your friend needs to go home, her mother called.” Robin panned her head toward Nancy, then back at the door. “Oh-okay, thank you Mrs Wheeler!” Robin sheepishly yelled, Nancy grabbed the shorts to her pajamas she neglected to put on before and slid them up her legs. Nancy’s mother walked right down the stairs and Nancy looked over at Robin, and she looked right back.

“I’ll walk you out.” Nancy turned her head to avoid eye contact with Robin. Robin fidgeted with her rings and quickly nodded, turning towards the door to grab the door knob. Nancy slipped on some slippers and Robin opened the door, letting Nancy walk through. Robin closed the door behind her and they both walked down stairs, heading towards the door. Nancy opened the door for Robin, her hands in the pockets of her jeans.

Robin cleared her hoarse throat, “I-i hope you feel better, Nance.” Her voice cracked as she said, she rushed to look away, avoiding Nancy’s gaze.

Nancy crossed her legs as she leaned on the frame of her front door, “Yeah, I-I’ll try.” Nancy finally attempted to make eye contact with Robin, only to find her looking away.

Robin nodded again, she looked at her converse, swinging back and forth on her heels slightly. Robin turned away, walking off the porch into the spring breeze of the sunset, her shoes making a scraping noise on the sidewalk.
