"Y/N! Y/N! what is this???" Lucas comes barreling in the living room where you, taeyong, and chenle are hanging out.
"What is this, explain this to me I keep seeing it!" Lucas saying followed in by other members because of his commotion.
"I go to look at your page for updates on IU's comeback and instead I see a post of our last campaign with strange words in the comments, what is this, i keep seeing them??" he exclaimed. You go to see what he's looking at and it is a post about nct's last campaign, a picture of Lucas, jungwoo, and kun with Lucas in the middle. By this you know what he's talking about because you played into it yourself captioning the photo: "Which is your favorite? Lukun or Luwoo? Vote in the comments!" Oh no, you think, I didn't know they actually looked at my page!!! Of course you feel flattered because aw they really support my page but now I have to explain to a group of men what fanships are... will I be leaving alive!!!
"Okay lucas you're going to want to sit down", you say patting the sofa cushion.
"LuKun and Luwoo are ship names that ship you with kun and jungwoo. It's a mash of your names." you say slowly so he can absord your words without freaking out.
"Okay I get that because they like us as friends and they like use to take pictures together right, because we can complement eachother's look right?" he tries to rationalize.
"Yes they do like seeing you together but not just as friends, it's more so they want to see you kiss", you rush out, better to not beat around the bush in instances like this. The boys in the room burst out laughing and lucas is sitting there dumbfounded.
"Kiss!! they want to see use kiss?? They want to see me and jungwoo and me and kun kiss huhhhh?!"
"Yes Lucas they do want to see you kiss.. and do much more but if it helps they do this will all of the members!" You try to explain but this makes the other boys go quite.
"Hey what are you talking about!" Exclaims Haechan with a small knowing smile.
"Well when you have such close relationships with eachother and from what fans can see, only eachother, they start to pair you off..." You try to ease in and you still hear nervous giggles and notice side eyes. You look over at Doyoung who is trying hard not to break the silence by holding his hands against his mouth. Okay maybe we can have fun with this, it's not a serious subject anyway you decide.
"Doyoung, I don't know why your laughing you have fans that ship you with taeyong," Doyoung grows a scared look on his face while Taeyong bursts out laughing, always a good sport. And you kind of go through the room saying each popular ship of the members, JohnTen, chenji, markhyuck, norenmin, yuwin and so on and so forth because they could all use a level playing field and I know if I didn't mention it they may think it was just lucas with this problem.
"Hey is this why you always ask us if we've kissed?" Johnny asks now catching you off guard.
"What I never asked that!" you swear. Yeah you do... when you're drunk and you're always pushing our heads together and saying kiss! kiss!" Now it's your turn to be embarrassed. You never knew that your true self came out when you were drunk, you thought you held yourself together well, but as you look at the members in the room they all nod in conformation.
"Oh yeah, now that makes" lucas says, probably recalling a moment of his own.
"Well cats out of the bag, I have some of my favorite ships but of course i know you guys, it's just a joke haha, unless there's something y'all want to tell me" pointing around jokingly trying to play it off since now your in the hot seat.
"Okay but what about top and bottom" chenle says," yeah and dom and sub," jaemin adds in both with devilish looks. Oh no here we go again...
