2. food/feeding as a love language
ever since sieun was a kid he didnt eat much. he wasnt neglected or anything but he would always rather be studying instead of wasting time having to find ingredients, make them and wait. because of this sieun always resorted to convience store food such as bibimbap, ramyeon, or kimbap.
so since meeting suho he can say hes been eating more. not a big difference but from when he was only eating 1 meal before to now where suho spoils him and buys him or makes him food, its definitely a huge difference.
at first, sieun would reject the food because he wasnt used to people buying stuff for him. but after a while of suho continuously buying him food, he felt bad for the food going to waste. so he ate it.
but after a while of eating the food himself, suho began wanting to feed sieun himself.
"this is weird" sieun stated while chewing his food behind his hand.
suho shrugged as he grabbed more food from sieuns plate. "well youre eating, thats all that really matters, huh?"
as suho shoved another spoonful of food into sieuns mouth, sieuns ears began to get red signifying he was getting shy with this treatment.
suho, whos eyes were locked onto sieun, looked at sieun closely watching the way his boyfriend chewed his food. this feeding ritual become almost like a habit with them. no matter the place suho would always feed sieun out of his own hand.
sieun would be embarrassed at first, thinking people were staring at them but as times passed, sieun got used to being fed by suho that wherever they were at, whether that be home or at a restaurant. sieun wouldnt even touch his silverware because he knew how much this simple act of providing for him meant for suho.
after their latest meal with their friends, as their on the way back to their place, suho suddenly states "i hope you know that i love you"
this catching sieun off guard he stops in the middle of the sidewalk. as he looks at suho he sees a loving expression on his face. suho continues "no matter what, ill always be there for you, whether you think you dont need me or not. i will always take care of you the way your parents shouldnt have if you will let me. ill take care of you, feed you, make sure everything is correct. because i love you and i think you should hear those words often."
after suhos little speech, sieun smiles. his cheeks warming up and his heart beating so fast in his chest it feels like he is having a panic attack. after a moment of silence, sieun laughs and says "i dont say this often, but i love you too. even if i dont say it all the time, i want you to know that"
after a moment of silence, suho leans in to give sieun a kiss. after a few seconds they pull away leaning their foreheads against each others. "lets get back home, hmm?" suho says before they head back to their apartment hand in hand, with smiles on their faces.
