PROLOGUE
the chaos within

EVERYTHING LOOKED DIFFERENT. Fire was everywhere, dead people were scattered every inch of the place, buildings were practically destroyed and in the middle of the destruction was none other than Isabella Harrington-Munson holding her five month baby bump as she walked through downtown—a town that she came to love was now in ruins.
Hawkins was the place where she met her husbands, Jim Hopper—a man who took her in without any hesitation and to top it all off she finally reunited with her sisters Eleven and Eight—two girls who escaped the lab and left her behind until Isabella to escaped.
She continued her walk through town avoiding rubble and stepping over dead people looking at all of their faces hoping and praying that none of them were her husbands but that’s when she saw them her lovers—Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson laying lifeless in the middle of all the chaos surrounded by her friends, family and allies.
All she could do was scream and cry wondering how on earth this could have happened and why she was the only one who was spared.
All she remembers was them preparing for The Crawl to defeat Vecna once and for all, save the kids from his clutches and save their town before everything becomes a blur after that.
She can feel her power surge deep within her fists clenched at her sides ready to kill whoever was behind all of this chaos.
“It’s not your fault Seven. They were all gonna die sooner rather then later.”
She whips around fast hair hitting her face as she glares at the last person she ever wants to see—a former man that she trusted until she soon realized that he was nothing but a cold blooded killer.
“They’re dead because of you, Creel,” Isabella said through clenched teeth.
“That’s where your wrong sweet Isa,” he said, moving some hair behind her ear.
“What the hell are you talking about?” She asked, confusion etched onto her face.
“See for yourself,” Vecna said, gesturing to one of the buildings.
Isabella turned around and that’s when she saw herself looking different covered from head to toe in all red a tiara on her head floating above all of the chaos. How was that possible? Last time she checked she only had teleportation.
This had to be a dream, it just has to be or maybe just maybe this was her reality.
“This is your destiny Seven. All you gotta do is unleash the chaos within—chaos that Brenner tried to contain and together we’ll rule the world,” he said.
Isabella whips around fast glare hardening.
“I’m nothing like you. I will never kill my loved ones or destroy the town that I came to call a home,” she seethed.
“Don’t you see Isa. You’re exactly like me. Who do you think killed all these people and destroyed this town? This was all because of you,” Vecna said, sounding much more sinister.
“NO! YOU’RE LYING!!!” Isabella screamed unleashing all of the rage built deep inside of her blasting him square in the chest as debris flew every which way.
The last thing she heard before darkness consumed her was Vecna laughing menacingly.
She wakes up with a start taking in her surroundings. It was only just a dream. She was back in her room. Eddie and Steve were asleep on either side of her…alive.
Eddie was snoring up a storm and Steve with his arm thrown across her protectively.
If it was only just a dream then why did it feel so real.
“Princess, why are you up? Is something wrong with Ellie?”
Isabella looked down at the tired face of Steve, one of her fiancée’s as he rubs her baby bump where their daughter grows. He was her first love—a man that she fell in love with forever ago but couldn’t date due to the fact that he was dating her best friend Nancy Wheeler until the break up. Now he was all hers including Eddie—a man that she found annoying at first until she fell for him aswell.
“Ellie’s fine, Stevie. It was only a fucked up dream that’s all,” she said.
“Just go back to sleep, Princess. It was only just a dream,” Steve said.
“Yeah just a dream,” Isabella muttered.
She laid her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat and Eddie’s snores as she tries to keep the tears from flowing.
