Chapter Text
Article One:
Pov: Dutch
Dutch returns to his home in Galinos, the capital of Greece, which is in shambles after an attack. He searches around for information regarding a pendant which he is wearing that he found in a place called Seyerdell. He mentions a woman named Medelin.
He looks in the dining hall and finds his family, killed by the knife of his father, and is shocked. He finds a note from his mother telling him “the monster is gone” and to “find asylum within Seyerdell”.
TLDR: Dutch’s whole family is dead. He has a pendant that is important.
Article Two:
Pov: Dutch
Dutch sees a huge strike of lightning and thunder, and walks there until he arrives at a group of people in the woods, seeing a spirit on the way. He hears a message saying that everyone there had been transported there from different times to work on a “world ending device” together (people from the Delta Ray Compound, and people from Midland), and if they don't agree they get killed.
He meets and converses with Talla Rayton and Theodore Alraic (from 2289), and Rymyr Bjornson and Cyprian Alraic (1066). He invites everyone to Galinos and talks with them, writing down the information he was able to collect on each person.
Talla Rayton:
From the Delta Ray Compound, which houses genetic and space anomalies
Randomly teleported here and confused
Theodore Alraic:
Worker at Delta Ray Compound
Descendant of Cyprian
Speaks about rogue robots terrorizing the world and Siberian cultists trying to free the compound’s prisoners.
Rymyr Bjornson:
Icelandic refugee, came to Midland, thinks it is really cool
King Cyprian Alraic:
Was asleep on his throne before this
Throne’s name is Arcem Mauveine
Dutch looks through his library for information about the spirit he saw and discovers it is the Hoax Bairn, which is 1.2 million years old but takes the form of a child, and roams time for no known reason.
He also finds information on the pendant: It belonged to a rogue Greek family, the Dolus family, who once ruled Greece but were overthrown for corruption. The pendant belonged to someone named Med___ Dolus, a twin of Malice.
TLDR: Dutch meets many people from different timelines and places, like Talla Rayton, Theodore Alraic, Rymyr Bjornson, and King Cyprian Alraic.
Article Three:
Pov: Dutch
Dutch tells everyone to follow the Spirit’s orders and work on building. Medelin shows up at the door and drunkenly attempts to fight him and take the Pendant, telling everyone to leave because it's just business between her and Dutch, and calling it the “Twin Sun Amulet”. She keeps trying to take the pendant and threatening him.
Theodore shoots her but she regenerates. Dutch, being shot and stabbed by Medelin, prays for one more chance at life. He dies and is taken to Elysium, where a mysterious person offers him a second chance at life/immortality and the Dread Moon Crown in exchange for his soul. He agrees, and comes back to life.
The log ends with:
“Death plays,
And the rot flays
The monarch is a monster,
Of malice and rot
But be weary not
For…
For what…?”
-???
TLDR: Dutch is killed by Medelin as she tries to take the pendant. He trades his soul to a god for immortality and comes back to life.
Battle #1: Dutch, Theodore, and Rayton VS Medelin
Her Last Words:
Dutch’s mother’s last words, to him.
“Rest Easy, I will keep us safe.
They will never harm us again.
The monster is gone, and mother is here to protect you.
For you my dear, Dutch, I hope you can find asylum within Seyerdell.
Rest Easy, young ones.”
A Throwback:
Long before Greece and Rome, two tyrants stood, The Monarch and the Scarlet King. They lived in a time which was highly technologically advanced, which then ended once they both disappeared. Eventually, the Monarch and his Ender Forces won, and disappeared. The Ender forces now live in the End. Dutch tried to see these powers, to no avail.
(DID NOT HAPPEN IN LOGS BUT IS CANON) :
When Dutch comes back to life, Medelin overdoses and dies. Dutch then takes the pendant back and inspects it. He suddenly has a vision, and learns it belonged to the God of Sin, one among other gods (The God of Blood, The God of Balance, The God of Light, and The God of Life) who had been hiding behind the Greek Gods’ personas. They were all trapped in a prison in Mount Olympus by “a force that ruled Earth”, but were able to access reality through avatars. One such avatar is Dutch (for the God of Light)
In the end, the people finish building the nuke and it is taken away by the Hoax Bairn, who leaves them with nothing, and no purpose.
