"Please please PLEAAASSEE MOCHIIII!"
"FINE! I'll go check on whats-her-face if the research she gives you is that important"
"Thank you!!!"

Mochi grumbled as she fixed up the portal to the Quicksilver farm, having just got off the phone with Viktor. Apparently, Beatrix or whatever her name was had gone radio silent, which also meant none of the quicksilver slimes were being cared for. She would have to stop by at some point anyway, but it still ticked her off that she had to take time out of her day to go look for this dimwitted girl.
"Does this bozo want the plort market to crash?" She grumbled, slamming the control panel shut and powering on the portal. It whirred to life before her, opening in a small flash of light. "Best to just get this over with quickly." She slings a vacpack over her shoulder, stepping into the blue light. The world flashes before her, and she quickly steps past the rest of the portals on the quicksilver farm and straight to the one that leads to far far range. She hadn't known what to expect.
A hungry Crystal-Quantum largo attempting to take a chomp out of her face was the last thing she had thought of, though. She quickly dodge, stumbling deeper into the cave. It was a pitiful expansion of the farm, but it seemed kind of beautiful. But that beauty was haunting. The nearby Oca Oca farm was overflowing, have the harvest rotten, a few Crystal-Quantum largo had escaped the corral, wandering around. Hungry Quantum slimes flopped around in a corral deeper in, the music doing little to calm them. Even the fire slimes in the ash trough of the incinerator were starving. First thing first, she sucked up the Crystal-Quantum slimes and put them back in their corral, dumping in a bunch of Oca Oca with them. She grabbed some prickly pears from the farm by the trough and put a few into the incinerator, then the rest with the quantum slimes.
"Have I been trusting a shitty caretaker with my quicksilver slimes?" She grumbles, disappointed that it had even gotten this bad. Her boots echoed through the cave as she walked out and onto the ranch. The sights she saw rivaled the disappointment she had gotten from the cave with shock. A coop was packed with a mix of hen hens, clearly all stored there for quick feeding purposes, a storage unit filled to the brim with slime food and plorts, and only two corrals. One has Tabby-Phosphor largos, and the other has rad-boom largos. An odd onion farm sat parallel from Mochi, with a Silver parsnip farm next to it. "This woman is a mess."
After caring for all of the slimes and choking on radiation, she bangs on Bea's door. It opens after a couple knocks (or punches), to reveal an empty home. Letters are scattered over the table, the bed is unmade, and boots stained in quicksilver goo sit next to the door. Mochi coughs, fanning away stirred up dust. It seems this place hasn't been touched for a while... She rapidly taps on her watch, calling up Viktor.
"Yesssss dearest and beloved savior of the person I rely on for slimes and plorts??" Viktor smiles through the hologram.
"Yeah, numbnuts, she isn't here."
"Huh?"
"All of her slimes are starving, even the damn fire slimes." She spits. "This place hasn't been touched in around a guesstimate of two weeks."
"Thats worrying... even if she's gone for a few days she normally has enough food in the slime corrals to keep them satiated."
"Shit, maybe three weeks then."
"Unmmmbuhbuhbuh-ahah! I'll send you a digital map of far far range. She couldn't have left it." Mochi watched her communicator ping, swapping out hologram-viktor with a hologram map. The place was huge, it'd take forever to search everywhere.
"Do you want the plort market to crash??" Mochi stares at the map, deadpan.
"Please Mochi!!! I'll send you extra bee-bots to help out!!"
"Fine."
The dry reef?
Nope. Mochi just got run over by a rock slime and chased by a horde of tabby slimes.
The moss blanket?
Nope, Mochi only ate shit and fell into a pool with a bunch of puddle slimes.
