Chapter Text

Sasuke sometimes felt like he was living in a motel. All of the units in his building facing the outside meant he could see and hear almost everything, from the neighbourhood kids playing ding-dong ditch to guys begging patrol officers not to give them a parking ticket. He usually enjoyed the free entertainment whenever he stepped out on the second floor for a smoke—it was like reading the news if the news had fewer politicians ruining the world and more meth addicts fist-fighting in a parking lot over a bag of nickels.

He treasured these brief respites from life, the summer night’s ambiance just warm enough to let him wear his black t-shirt and ripped jeans without sweltering. He took in a breath of the slightly cool outside air before reaching for the pack of cigarettes in his pocket. It was almost peaceful.

Almost.

His ears were assaulted by yet another one of his next-door neighbour’s screaming matches. That couple had just moved in a few weeks ago and had been lunging at each other's throats ever since. Sasuke silently thanked himself for installing soundproofing in his unit, or else he would’ve gone insane by now, especially with them always fighting in the middle of the night. He wondered what could be so serious to cause this much rage at one in the morning.

He had dealt with his fair share of bickering couples, but never anything that sounded that intense. Plates and cups endlessly smashing, doors slamming with the force of a thousand suns, what sounded like a slap on occasion…he was honestly worried they’d end up killing each other.

He kept listening as he lit his cigarette, the flame of his lighter doing little to warm his hands through the suddenly bitter night air. He couldn’t quite make out what they were saying without putting his ear to the door like a creep, but he did recognize the odd word here and there.

Something something bills, something something money, blah blah blah…typical couple fights. Almost everyone in this complex was somewhere on the broke spectrum, so it wasn’t surprising to hear people bicker about how to keep the lights on. If they weren’t struggling a bit, there was no way they wouldn’t choose to live here out of free will.

This time, he heard a bit of something else.

Sex, blah blah blah, faithful, incomprehensible mumbling…fag? Did he hear that right? No, that couldn’t be right. Whenever he didn’t hear them fight and wanted to tell them to shut up, he heard them fucking like rabbits and wanted to join in. Plus, the few times he managed to catch a glimpse of the guy in the relationship, he looked like the epitome of a straight man. Still, if it was enough to throw slurs over, then there had to be some truth there.

Against his better judgment, he leaned in closer to hear them better. They still sounded muffled, but he could at least partially make out a few sentences.

“Babe, please, just listen to me,” the man pleaded, sounding like he was on the verge of tears. “I would never cheat on you! I just—“

“Just what? You wanna fuck guys now? Is that it?! You’re bored with me and want some dick?!”

Sasuke took another hit of his cigarette, eagerly awaiting the guy’s response.

“I’m trying to have a conversation with you, and this is how you—“

“Oh, bullshit! You already found another guy’s dick to suck, right? Who is he? Gaara?”

“No, no, it’s not like that, just listen—“

“God, even the thought you wanting to fuck guys makes me sick, y’know? I thought you were a real man, but here you are prancing around like a little fairy boy,” she said with a cruel chuckle, like she was taking pleasure in mocking him. “It’s ridiculous, honestly. I’m out! Go be with your fag friends! You’re dead to me!”

“Get out of my house!”

Sasuke jolted away from the door, taking a few deep breaths to catch himself. He hastily took a puff from his cigarette to calm himself down, feeling the warm smoke coat his lungs and soothe his mind, just long enough to control his thoughts.

Then the door handle turned.

Sasuke snapped into position, looking down at the parking lot below and pretending not to notice anything behind him. He heard a few steps walking past him before hearing another set of steps running in the same direction.

“Babe!” the guy yelled out, his voice echoing off the outer wall of the complex. “We can talk this out! Just come back!”

Sasuke turned his head to look at the couple, watching as the guy grabbed her wrist and fell to his knees, grovelling like a hit dog. The woman barely paid him any attention, looking like she was ready to kick him in the nuts. Sasuke almost walked over there to tell him to stand up.

“Please,” the guy choked out, sounding like he was on the verge of tears. “Come back inside. I need you. I can’t live without you. Please. Please.”

“Naruto.”

Naruto slowly lifted his head up, looking up at her like a servant to their queen. Sasuke couldn’t bear to watch this play out anymore, closing his eyes as he turned his head back towards the parking lot.

Slap!

Sasuke’s gaze pointed up, following the wrinkles along his father’s mouth, unable to bring himself to look him in the eyes. His throat collapsed in on itself, choking the air out of his lungs. He knew.

His life was over.

“You’re not my son.”

“I’m leaving.”

A cold, echoing silence followed, even the cicadas in the background ceasing their chirping. Sasuke barely knew the guy, but an invisible hand still snuck into his chest, gripping his heart.

Then he heard footsteps trailing off down the hall.

Then he heard nothing.

Sasuke finally opened his eyes to see Naruto staring off into the distance, his head following the woman as she walked through the parking lot. He stood still as a statue even as she drove off out of view, as if his mind followed her down the night streets.

He should’ve put out his cigarette and headed back inside. He should’ve gone to sleep and forgotten all of this had happened—this was just more neighbour drama he could discard from his memory. But the more he looked at Naruto’s shaky hands and heard his sniffling, the less control he had over his body, the more he needed to say something. Anything.

“You smoke?”

Maybe not that.

Before Sasuke could take back what he just said, Naruto craned his head in his direction like a zombie. All the life Sasuke once saw in him looked like it had been sucked out of him, hazy and unresponsive.

“I came out for a smoke and overheard your…conversation,” he said, holding out his pack of smokes. “Didn’t mean to spy on you. Here. Take one.”

Naruto’s gaze drifted to the pack, then back up at Sasuke with the guiltiest expression on his face. His deep blue eyes glowed under the dim fluorescent lights, barely covered by his spiky blonde bangs. A line of tears was starting to dry on his face, crossing the whisker-like birthmarks on his olive cheeks, one of them still red from his ex-girlfriend’s slap. Sasuke took back what he thought earlier: he was more of a hit cat than a hit dog. A gorgeous, perfect hit cat.

He hated how much he wanted to pet him.

“Thanks,” Naruto muttered, pulling a cigarette out of Sasuke’s pack.

“Let me light it for you.”

Naruto leaned closer, holding his cigarette to the flame of Sasuke’s lighter. The light made his skin shine a brilliant gold against the dark night sky. As miserable as Naruto looked, he was still a work of art. He had melancholy down to a science, from the tear stains down his face to the miserable shakiness in his voice.

Sasuke wanted nothing more than to glide his hands across that smooth face, wiping his tears and kissing every whisker along his cheeks until he made his way to those soft, pink lips. He could slip a hand right under his dorky-looking orange frog t-shirt, running his hands across his wide back, digging his nails into his skin. If he really were gay, he’d be perfect.

Too bad she was probably wrong about him. He already looked too good to be true, as if Sasuke was hallucinating him. For him to like guys, on top of that… it was stupid to even consider. He had fallen for that once before. Never again. Nev—

“Something on my face?”

Sasuke snapped back to reality, pocketing his lighter and taking another hit to reorient himself. Was all this because he hadn’t had sex in a while? Surely that had to be it. The last time he fell for a straight guy he was young and desperate, after all. All he had to do was go back inside and jerk off or something and put this all behind him.

Still…what if she was right?

What if he did like guys?

Why has Sasuke not even introduced himself yet?

“Name’s Sasuke,” he blurted out, trying to correct himself as he hastily took another hit.

“Naruto.”

Sasuke’s shoes glued themselves to the concrete floors, leaving him there to smoke while Naruto stared at the night sky. I’m headed inside. That’s all he had to say now. There’s no sense in his getting involved with a straight guy, much less his neighbour, who just got broken up with. I’m headed inside. That was the smart choice. He repeated the mantra to himself.

I’m headed inside.

I’m headed inside.

I’m headed inside.

“Wanna come inside?”

Naruto spent the next 10 minutes quietly sobbing on Sasuke’s couch. He had barely even touched the bottle of beer in his hand before the tears started overflowing, leaving Sasuke with nothing better to do than sip on his own. He had no idea what to say and felt that anything he said would only make things worse. Still, he felt like he had to say something.

“I’m sorry,” was the best thing he could come up with, but it at least made Naruto catch his breath a bit. “I’m not great at consoling people.”

“I-It’s fine, really,” Naruto choked out, wiping his eyes. “Having someone around is enough.”

Naruto really was gorgeous no matter what. He looked even better in the warm lamp light, his olive skin glowing like the sun. Even with his puffy, watery eyes and tear-stained cheeks, all Sasuke could think about was grabbing his face and making out with him on the couch.

How could she break up with that face?

“How could she break up with that face?”

Sasuke almost took a vow of silence on the spot.

Instead of rightfully leaving, Naruto dropped his melancholic expression, let out a saccharine laugh, luring Sasuke in like a siren. He found himself hypnotized by Naruto’s bright smile and the way it pulled his whiskers up his cheeks.

“You don’t have to lie to make me feel better, y’know?”

“I’m not lying.”

Naruto went wide-eyed. “You serious?”

“What were you two fighting about?” he asked, deflecting the conversation.

Naruto’s face dropped, his thumbs twiddling like he was trying to find the words to say, or if he wanted to say anything at all. The look on his face told Sasuke he was about to start crying again.

“You don’t have to ans—“

“I told her I’m bisexual.”

Sasuke hated that his first thought was that he had a chance with him now.

“So she wasn’t lying, huh?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I…heard a bit of your argument inside, since the walls are paper-thin in this building. Something about you liking guys—I thought she was lying.”

“Oh…” Naruto looked even more miserable than before.

“Nothing wrong with that,” Sasuke blurted out, trying to save himself. “Stupid reason to break up with someone.”

“You think so?” Naruto looked up at him like a stray cat being offered food for the first time.

“Yeah.”

For just a moment, there was life in Naruto’s eyes. The lamp light caught his iris, shining a brilliant blue in all directions, like the kaleidoscope he used to play with as a kid.

Sasuke would sell his soul to look into those eyes while Naruto fucked his brains out, those whiskered lips telling him how good a boy he is. Admiring those colours with his tanned hands around Sasuke’s neck would be the perfect way to die. It took everything within Sasuke’s being not to pounce on him right there.

Luckily, he caught himself before his hard-on became even more obvious. Even if Naruto liked guys, his girlfriend just broke up with him, not even an hour ago. Sasuke didn’t know if he could live with himself if he dragged him into rebound sex when he was this vulnerable, especially with Sasuke’s kinks.

“Thanks, Sasuke. I’ll have to pay you back for dealing with my whining,” Naruto said with a chuckle, finally taking a sip of the beer sitting in his hands. All Sasuke had to do was not say something stupid, and they could go back to being friendly neighbours.

You don’t have to.

“You ever sleep with a guy before?”

Of course, Sasuke said something stupid.

Naruto barely managed to avoid choking on his drink. “W-what do you—where did that—“

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything.”

“No, no, it’s fine!” Naruto said, pulling himself together. “Just wasn’t expecting it.”

“I didn’t mean to pry into your love life.”

“Dude, you just saw me crying at a girl’s feet. I think we’re a little past ‘not prying into each other’s love lives’ territory, y’know?”

Sasuke let out a sigh of relief. “I guess you’re right.”

“First guy I’ve slept with…I’ve only slept with one guy from college a few years ago. I wouldn’t even call it sleeping, really; all we did was make out and jerk each other—sorry, sex lives are probably too far, right?”

For having just gotten broken up with, Naruto was surprisingly easy to talk to. Having a neighbour who wasn’t insane was a nice change of pace. Sasuke felt like he could let loose a little.

“Lucky. The first guy I slept with was twice my age.”

Naruto looked at Sasuke like he had grown a second head. “Dude…are you okay?”

Maybe that was too loose.

“It—it was a while ago when I was young and dumb. Wanted to prove I was a real gay guy, so I threw myself at the first man who gave me attention. I’m fine now, don’t worry.”

“You’re lying, boy.”

Sasuke swallowed that memory down with another sip of his drink. This wasn’t the time or place for that.

“You try to go all the way with him?” Sasuke asked, wiping beer foam off his lips.

“I did but…it didn’t work out,” Naruto said with a nervous chuckle.

“Were you both tops or something? I know the pain. I’ve hit it off with so many guys only to find out we were both bottoms. It’s so—”

“He said I was too big.”

“Bullshit. How big is it?”

“I-I’m not telling you how big my dick is! Are you crazy?”

“See? Bullshit. If you had a fat cock you wouldn’t be this nervous talking about—”

“It’s…8 inches.”

Sasuke felt like he had won the lottery. Not only was Naruto single, gorgeous and easygoing, but he was packing too. If he were dominant, Sasuke would’ve been on his knees by now, begging to have that cock down his throat.

Naruto curling up into a ball on the couch in embarrassment quickly shattered that illusion. Sasuke could barely contain his laughter, watching a guy with such a big dick acting like a shy high schooler.

Still, 8 inches was 8 inches.

“Can I see?” Sasuke teased.

“Shut up.”

“Make me.”

The last thing Sasuke expected was for Naruto to follow through and kiss him. Any shock in Sasuke’s system was quickly replaced with the taste of miso and cigarettes on his tongue. He cupped Naruto’s face with his hand, tracing his thumb along the whiskers on his cheek. His skin was silky smooth, just as he imagined. He wished he could stay like this forever.

Naruto pulled away, ending their kiss right as it was getting good. “I-I don’t know why I did that. I shouldn’t be doing this—I have a girlfriend and—“

“She just dumped you.”

“Right…” Before Naruto could sink into misery again, Sasuke grabbed his face and looked straight into his eyes. He wouldn’t miss this chance.

“Want me to help you forget about her?”

“What—“

Sasuke interrupted his protest by kissing him again, deeper than before. A slight moan escaped Naruto’s lips as Sasuke’s tongue filled his mouth. All the worry and regret filling Naurto’s body seemed to slowly leak out, his movements relaxing as he succumbed to pleasure. Sasuke knew both of them were in too deep for regrets. They could save the apologies for tomorrow.

Naruto tensed again as Sasuke palmed the massive hard-on in his sweatpants. “You weren’t lying about being 8 inches, Naruto.”

“Don’t bring that up again.”

“You should be proud,” Sasuke said softly into Naruto’s ear, pulling down the waistband and taking out his cock. “I don’t know how your ex could let this thing go. Couldn’t handle it?”

“We n-never did it…I just d-didn’t wanna hurt her.”

“Lame.”

Sasuke went in for another kiss as his hand slowly stroked Naruto’s shaft. His muffled moans combined with his sloppy, desperate kissing were like music to Sasuke’s ears. As much of a sub as Sasuke was, Naruto was undeniably fun to tease with all his squirming and gasping for air. He figured it was the brat in him that enjoyed this so much.

Like any good brat, however, he was getting impatient.

“What should I call you?” Sasuke asked, getting down on his knees in front of Naruto’s cock. “Daddy? Sir? Master? I can accommodate. I could even call you ‘nii-san’ if that’s your thing.”

Naruto covered his blushing face in embarrassment. “D-don’t say stuff like that!”

“Fine, ‘master’ it is.”

Sasuke ran his tongue up the length of his cock, immediately shutting Naruto up. He eagerly made his way up the tip, lapping up the delicious precum that was awaiting him there. The salty, musky juice with that subtle bit of sweetness erased anything resembling a thought in Sasuke’s mind. He wished this cock could literally fuck his skull so he didn’t have to think ever again.

Most of all, he loved watching Naruto’s shameful reaction. Watching him hold a hand over his mouth while he held back his moans made Sasuke want to stuff him down his throat right then and there. With how pent up Naruto had been, Sasuke was sure he wouldn’t last a minute.

“Aren’t you going to fuck my face, master?” Sasuke teased, slapping Naruto’s tip against his cheek. “Use all of that pent-up rage on me, master. I know you want to.”

“Will you shut up?” Naruto sounded like he wanted to strangle him, all the shyness in his voice dissipating into a raspy flair. Perfection.

“Or what?”

“I’m trying my hardest not to hurt you, y’know?”

“I want you to hurt me, dumbass.”

Naruto looked down at Sasuke like he had grown a third head, this time with googly eyes and a clown nose. “Seriously? Are you sure you’re okay?”

“It’s my thing. If you’re not into it, then fine, but you don’t have to be such a pussy about it.”

“What did you just call me?”

Sasuke looked up, only to see that Naruto’s eyes lost their artlike gleam, replaced with a murderous gaze. The veins in his neck popped out as his jaw clenched. It was monstrous.

Monstrously hot.

“I called you a pussy, pussy. What are you going to do about—“

Sasuke was interrupted by Naruto’s hand, gripping his black hair and pulling his face up to the tip of Naruto’s cock. Sasuke’s heart pumped out of his chest with excitement, his own dick twitching in his jeans.

“Open your mouth.”

Naruto’s words flipped the off switch somewhere in Sasuke’s brain. The subtle gruffness in Naruto’s voice was enough to scare any neurons left in Sasuke’s skull into submission. Perfectly dormant. Perfectly submissive.

Perfectly happy.

Sasuke barely even registered that his mouth was open before it was filled to the brim with Naruto’s cock. He could feel it pushing all the way into his throat, almost making him gag as his lips brushed the base. Whenever he thought this was it, Naruto’s grip on his hair forced him just a little deeper. His mind was starting to go blank from the lack of air.

The only thing on Sasuke’s mind was Naruto’s cock hitting the back of his throat over and over again as he thrusted. He felt like a sex toy Naruto was about to break and throw out. That’s exactly what Sasuke wanted to be. He wanted—needed to be used. He needed this.

Every negative thought in Sasuke’s mind was gone. No more worrying about bills, no more remembering all the idiots at his job who pissed him off, no more of anything. Servicing this cock was his purpose. His entire eternal monologue was replaced with him begging Naruto to cum down his throat already.

Then he felt Naruto’s cock twitch.

Naruto pressed Sasuke’s head all the way to the base as hot, sticky cum coated his esophagus down to his stomach. Sasuke could feel his eyes roll back in his head in orgasmic bliss as he barely hung onto consciousness. His breathing shallowed, his entire body focused solely on savouring all the cum he could.

Once Naruto let go, Sasuke’s survival instinct took over, sending him gasping for air as he wretched over himself. The entire aftermath seemed to hit him all at once—the cum clogging his esophagus making it hard to swallow, the pain in his neck and jaw, the slobbery mess on his face, the cum stain in his pants…

…and worst of all, the fact that Naruto really didn’t last a minute.

“Fucking one minute man,” Sasuke muttered once he caught his breath.

“We’re not finished.”

Sasuke looked up to see Naruto standing over him like a tower. His red-hot glare from earlier hadn’t subsided.

More importantly, his hard-on hadn’t either.

“Bed. Now.”

Sasuke felt something click in his head at the familiar command. He smiled weakly, looking up at his beloved, his saviour.

“Did you hear me, kitten?” his master asked, gliding his crop up Sasuke’s torso. “I’ll repeat: bed. Now.”

“Yes, master.”

His master looked satisfied, his prideful eyes glowing…blue?

Were they always blue?
