Work Text:
Chilchuck sighed, setting a hefty bag of groceries down on the counter. It was a little too tall for him to unload said groceries without dragging over the stool, which was just another reason to grumble about the absurdity of this situation.
Why was he the one left behind to watch Laios?
Sure, he doesn’t know a single thing about magic and they don’t need to traverse the dungeon to research this spell, but couldn’t Falin and Marcille have gotten someone else to babysit Laios in the meantime?
He tried, for a moment, to imagine Namari or Shuro in his shoes, and sighed again. Yeah. Of course he was the one they asked to watch him.
At least he was left with some spending money. Laios seemed to be hungrier than he usually was in this form, if that was even possible, and Chilchuck had gone out to buy extra food twice now. He made sure that was coming out of the Touden’s coin purse, not his own.
The smell of the food coming out of the bag summoned the beast himself, and Chilchuck held onto the counter to keep himself from toppling over as Laois bounded into the kitchen.
He gave an excited bark, running on all fours, and pressed clumsily into Chilchuck’s side as he got his paws up on the counter and took a sniff.
“Hey, nose off the food.” Chilchuck pushed it away from him. “Down, boy.” He snapped his fingers and pointed to the ground. Laois whined, but did as he was told.
He was surprisingly obedient, if a little excitable. Chilchuck supposed that sounded about right, for what Laios would be like as a dog.
Only he wasn’t exactly a dog. He was some kind of human-dog hybrid. Short blonde fur and floppy ears, a fluffy tail that was almost constantly wagging, and clawed hands with paw-pads on the fingertips. He seemed to have lost the ability to walk on two legs, though he wasn’t quite built like a real quadrupedal animal, either.
He also refused to wear clothes. Not that anything was particularly visible, and he was covered in fur, but it was still off-putting. Chilchuck tried to put some pants on him when he first came over to watch him a few days ago, and he wore himself out chasing Laios around the apartment.
So, no pants.
“Good boy,” Chilchuck said, giving Laios a rub on the head. His tail wagged, swishing across the kitchen floor, and Chilchuck felt a lopsided grin poke at his cheek.
It had felt so strange, at first, talking to Laios like he was actually a dog, but he clearly responded well to it.
“Now stay. I need to put this food away.”
Laois barked once, which Chilchuck took as confirmation. He stayed on the ground, watching Chilchuck move around the kitchen, though a playful glimmer twinkled in his eyes. Chilchuck decided to reward him for being so good by indulging it.
“Alright, c’mon boy. You want to play?” he said.
Laid got up, barking excitedly, and bounded towards the living room.
Chilchuck laughed as he followed. Laios went straight for the pillow he’d decided was his toy, and picked it up in his mouth to carry over to Chilchuck.
Chilchuck took it and shook it around for a moment, letting Laois snap at the air around it, then chucked it across the room. Laios gave chase, practically launching himself to follow. He clamped his jaws around it and gave it a solid shake, growling a little for good measure, too, then trotted back over to Chilchuck to present the pillow again.
“You don’t get bored of this, huh?” Chilchuck said.
Laios whined, confused, and Chilchuck sighed through a smile.
“Nevermind. Guess you are just a dumb dog, for now.”
They went on like that for a while, until finally Laios tired himself out and hopped up onto the sofa, setting his pillow down and walking over it in circles a few times before he settled down. Chilchuck grabbed a bottle of beer from his grocery haul and took a seat next to him, content to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing.
Laios picked his head up and laid it in Chilchuck’s lap almost immediately.
“Yeah, yeah.” Chilchuck rolled his eyes and plopped a hand into his hair. It was still longer at the top of his head, though all of him was now covered in fur, but he seemed to like receiving pets there the most, so Chilchuck combed his fingers across Laios’s scalp and watched his eyelids go heavy with sleep.
“Just like a puppy,” Chilchuck whispered.
Laios drifted off, and Chilchuck leaned back into the couch, nursing his beer. His cheeks grew warm and his head grew empty. It was nice, the pressure on his lap, the big, warm beast beside him. He closed his eyes and decided a nap actually sounded pretty good.
…
He woke to the sound of whining. He didn’t particularly feel like opening his eyes, but the noise made him more aware of himself. He was still holding the empty bottle of beer, and Laios was still laying in his lap, but he was whining and wriggling around.
Laios nuzzled his head into Chilchuck’s crotch, and Chilchuck jumped, eyes flying wide open.
“H-hey!” He pushed at Laios’s head. “Cut that out!”
Laios whimpered and looked up at him with big puppy-dog eyes.
“Look, I know you don’t know what you’re doing, but—”
As if taking that as a challenge, Laios dove back down and rubbed his cheek right into Chilchuck’s dick, pawing at his thigh like he wanted him to spread his legs.
“Oi! Quit! Bad boy!” Chilchuck shouted. That got Laios to freeze.
Chilchuck shook him off and hopped up off the sofa.
“Wh-what the hell was that?” he huffed.
Laios got down on his knees, hung his head, and whimpered apologetically. Somehow that made Chilchuck feel worse. And maybe even a little turned on.
No! No, he couldn’t be. He was just lightheaded from the beer and the nap, and maybe his dick was waking up from the attention, but he was not horny over Laios being turned into a dog.
“Sorry. You’re not… you’re not a bad boy. You’re just a dog.” Chilchuck sighed into his hand. What was he even saying?
“I’m gonna go for a walk,” he decided. “You stay here.”
…
Laios seemed to be giving him space. It was odd, being able to walk around the apartment without the fluff-ball constantly at his heels. It made Chilchuck wonder just how conscious Laios still was in there—but that was a slippery slope.
He didn’t want to think of him as anything more than a dog, because that would put intention behind what he’d done. And that would mean Chilchuck could actually consider it, which he absolutely could not let himself do.
Laios was off-limits right now. He looked like a dog! He couldn’t even speak!
Chilchuck shouldn't be attracted to him in the slightest.
Shouldn’t didn’t mean wasn’t, though.
Chilchuck fed Laios his dinner, ate something himself, then took a bath and got ready for bed. He was sleeping on the couch, since it was plenty large enough for him, and he felt weird taking Falin’s bed. Laios still slept in his own, though now he made a nest of the blankets and curled up in a ball between them.
He checked to make sure Laios was cozy in his room, then settled on the couch with a book and read for a while with the lamp on.
He must have dozed off again, because he woke suddenly, instinct jerking him alert to a pair of eyes down the hall. In the shadows, Laios’s golden gaze shimmered with that animal glint.
“Um. Everything alright, buddy?” Chilchuck asked. He plucked his book up from where it had fallen in his lap and set it down on the coffee table.
Laios stalked into the room, moving slow and cautious. Chilchuck felt a shiver run down his spine, feeling distinctly like a hunted animal in the sights of a predator, but as Laios came into the light, it became clear that was far from reality.
Laios’s head was low, his tail between his legs, the posture entirely submissive. He made a pleading whine in the back of his throat and walked up to the edge of the couch, then began to paw at it.
“What… what’cha want?” Chilchuck asked.
Laios hopped up onto the couch, careful not to step on Chilchuck’s feet. He tried to turn in a circle, like he was preparing his bed, but the space was a little too small for him, with Chilchuck there too.
He turned back to Chilchuck and whined pleadingly again.
“You want to sleep at my feet?” Chilchuck asked.
Laois’s ears perked up, and he made a small, affirmative bark.
“Laios…” Chilchuck pinched the bridge of his nose. He tried to think of a good argument to say no, but the only one was something he didn’t want to say aloud.
“Well, we can’t do that here. I’ll have to sleep in your bed,” Chilchuck said.
Laios’s tail started to wag a little. He hopped off the couch and barked again. Chilchuck tossed the blankets off his legs and shoved his feet into his slippers, shuffling down the hall after Laios. He looked so happy, running ahead a few steps, then pausing to look back and wait for Chilchuck.
Chilchuck smiled and shook his head. This was fine. Laios was just being a dumb dog right now.
The bedroom was dark. Chilchuck felt around for the bed and hesitantly lifted himself up onto the mattress. It felt too large for him, like he was some stately lord in his private bedchambers, but then having a guard dog at the end of the bed would make all the more sense. He leaned into the fantasy a little, flopping down on the pillow like he owned the place.
Laios padded in a circle down at his feet. There was plenty of space left for him, though the movements shifted the whole mattress.
“Easy, buddy,” Chilchuck said.
Laios sighed and dropped his weight. He shifted around for a bit, and in the dark, Chilchuck could just make out the shape of him curled up. He looked like he was trying to take up as little space as possible.
“You comfy?” Chilchuck asked. Laios made a small huff, and Chilchuck smiled. Sounded like a yes.
…
Chilchuck woke to a familiar hardness in his trousers.
He didn’t get morning wood so much these days, but he knew the feeling. The bed was warm and his body felt heavy, his brain still foggy with vague impressions of a pleasant dream. He rolled onto his back and threw an arm over his eyes to block out the light from the window, his other hand sliding down into his pants.
What had he been dreaming about, again?
Some kind of tumble in the hay, he was sure. He remembered there being a lot of panting and whining, like a pair of feral animals. Yeah, that could get him hot under the collar.
His hand found his dick, wrapping around the base and lazily stroking up the shaft.
There had been something furry in the dream, too. Like a plush rug or a blanket. Or a dog.
Chilchuck’s eyes snapped open, and he lurched up, looking down at the end of the bed.
Laios looked back at him, eyes wide and lips wet.
“Laios!” Chilchuck yelped. His dick twitched in his hand, and heat flooded his face.
Laios whined, still curled up in a submissive position, but his hips bucked forward, and Chilchuck glanced down at his crotch, led by the motion. Something heavy twisted in his gut at the sight of Laios’s red, canine dick poking out of its sheath.
Chilchuck’s mouth went dry. There was no denying it anymore. He’d been dreaming about Laios—about fucking Laios—and he’d gotten hard from it. He was still hard from it.
Laios was looking right at him, whimpering pathetically, and it was only making him harder.
“Could you… could you tell? That I was—” Chilchuck gulped, unable to finish that thought. “Did I get you like this?”
Laios whined, hips bucking again. He looked like he was just barely restraining himself. He clearly wanted to pounce on Chilchuck, but something was holding him back.
Chilchuck’s order. He’d told him not to, before. And Laios was still trying to obey.
“Oh.” Chilchuck’s breath came out shaky. “You really do make a good dog.”
Laios’s ears perked up at that, his tail thumping on the bed as it wagged. Chilchuck laughed, then quickly cut himself off as he realized he was still holding his own erection in his pants.
“I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but… forget what I said before. You can do what you want, Laios.”
Chulchuck gulped. He hoped this was enough proof. If Laios understood, then surely it was okay for them to do this, right?
Laios’s eyes widened, and his lips parted, showing off a tongue wet with saliva, which cupped and twitched like he wanted to form a word. Chilchuck shivered, squeezing the base of his cock to keep himself contained.
Then Laios lunged.
Chilchuck gasped, hands on his hips pushing him down against the bed. Laios’s nose was immediately pressed into his crotch, nuzzling into his erection. Laios took in a deep breath, and his tail flicked back and forth, slapping his own legs.
“Fuck,” Chilchuck swore, releasing his cock so he could push his waistband down instead. Laios growled, gripping the fabric between his teeth and pulling it down with him.
His cock was heavy and flushed, throbbing under Laios’s labored breath. His pants remained crumpled around his knees, forgotten, and Laios opened his mouth wide.
Chilchuck gasped at the sight of his teeth. His canines had grown long and pointed. For a breathless moment, he thought Laios was going to bite into him, and yet no part of him cared to stop it.
Instead, Laios attacked his cock with his tongue. Licking and lapping just like a dog, all slobber and discoordination.
Chilchuck groaned and pressed his palms into his eyes. It shouldn’t feel so good, yet every part of him burned and tingled, like all the blood in his body wanted to rush out and into Laios’s mouth.
Laios whimpered in the back of his throat, the sound hungry and desperate. Chilchuck slid his hands up to his forehead and looked down at him, his vision initially doubled. The two Laioses crashed into one, and Chilchuck gasped at the sight of him. His ears pressed back, the fur on his chin damp with spit. His golden eyes, pleading for more.
“C’mon, Laios,” Chilchuck husked, reaching down to grab the scruff on the back of his neck. “Be a good boy. Suck.”
Laios whimpered repeatedly, like he was too excited to finish one cry before the next came. Chilchuck guided his cock deep into Laios’s mouth, and with the elongated snout, it didn’t even hit the back of his throat.
His long tongue pulsed against the underside of his cock, and his teeth clicked, trying to close his mouth without chomping Chilchuck’s dick off.
Then he gulped, and Chilchuck let out a long groan.
“Yeah, like that. Good boy.”
Laios’s tail was thwapping back and forth, his claws curling into the sheets. Chilchuck tightened his grip on his fur and thrust a little into his mouth, testing the waters. Laios whined around him, the vibrations heavenly, and Chilchuck couldn’t hold back anymore. He twisted both hands into Laios’s fur and fucked into his maw, the slick sound of drool squelching around his cock only putting more heat into his gut.
“Fuck, fuck, Laios, fuck,” he huffed and panted. Laios made a desperate noise of agreement, his own hips now thrusting against the bed.
Chilchuck shifted properly onto his back, kicked his pants off one ankle, and hiked his legs up to wrap around Laios’s shoulders. He rode out his orgasm with shallow, circular thrusts of his hips. The sound he made was embarrassing, something between a guttural scream and a moan, but Laios fared no better. He was grunting and whining, more canine than ever, his slick red cock spilling into the sheets.
Chilchuck flopped boneless onto the bed when he was done. He shut his eyes and took a few deep breaths, then frowned when he realized Laios still hadn’t released his cock.
He picked his head up, peeking one eye open. Round, yellow eyes met his gaze, staring up from his crotch.
Laios had settled against the bed, but still had Chilchuck’s softening cock resting in his mouth. He held it like a dog holds a toy, only gentler. Careful with his teeth.
“You know that’s not yours, right?” Chilchuck said.
Laios whimpered.
“Laios. Drop it.”
With a petulant sigh, Laios released his cock and pulled his head away, curling back up in a pathetic ball at the end of the bed.
Chilchuck sighed and wiped a hand over his face. What the hell was he doing?
“Hey. Don’t pout,” he spoke low and gentle, crawling over to sit next to Laios. “You were really good. So good for me, Laios.”
He scratched the fur at the back of his neck, where he’d pulled and twisted. Laios looked up at him without moving his head, his tail starting to wag again, and Chilchuck felt his heart twist. He was really cute as a dog.
And really good at giving head.
Chilchuck cringed at himself, pulling his pants back up to at least cover his crotch, even if his ass was still hanging out. Clearly Laios didn’t care. He looked happy as ever, laying there in the soiled sheets with Chilchuck petting him.
“Ah, shit,” Chilchuck realized aloud, slapping his own forehead. “I’m gonna have to give you a bath.”
