Chapter Text
Crispin is still in school despite the time being 4;30pm, sitting on a desk in the band room of the school as he practiced some guitar, the mellifluous melody echoing through the quiet room. A smile on his face as he enjoyed the music, it wasn't until Kylar barged in the room that Crispin's moment was interrupted. Crispin's smile faded and he looked up, an awkward expression on his face as he scratched the back of his neck and stared at the other boy. Kylar had sweat dripping down his muscular arms, panting lightly, his hair pushed back and forehead exposed, which had a tiny bruise right above his eyebrow. Kylar stared at Crispin with slightly parted lips and a raised brow, his eyes raking over the brunettes messy outfit, a band tee over a long sleeved shirt with baggy, dirty jeans and disgusting sneakers. Finally, Kylar spoke up, "Do you know where coach Colby is? I can't find him anywhere." He said, wiping the sweat off of his forehead as he continued to look Crispin up and down. Crispin shook his head and held the guitar a bit tighter, worried Kylar would smash it again like one incident.. "No, man. Sorry." He responded, feeling a bit nervous as Kylar continued to gaze at him. Kylar nodded and took a step back, about to leave. "Oh, alright. Bye, bro." He said before leaving and closing the door, he let out a small sigh, feeling his heart race after that little encounter, the way those hazel eyes had looked at him, he couldn't get the image out of his head. Meanwhile, Crispin continued to play guitar in the band room, his mind filled with images of Kylar.
Soon enough, time had passed, it was now 7:30, Crispin had fell asleep on the desk, curled up with the guitar held in his arms. Kylar quietly opened the door again, expecting Crispin to be gone, but no. His light brown eyes widened as he saw the other boy sleep peacefully on the hard, wooden desk. He swallowed before walking toward Crispin, kneeling in front of his face and admiring the pretty, handsome features. He tilted his head curiously and reached out, gently brushing his thumb across Crispin's chapped lips. He wanted so desperately to kiss them, but he wasn't gay, right? Soon enough, Crispins eyes flicked open, struggling to focus on the face in front of him before he jumped, dropping the guitar on the ground with a loud thud. Kylar jumped as well and stood up, trying to play it cool. He cleared his throat and looked away. "D-dude, what the hell was that?" Asked the brunette, his heart racing. Kylar clenched his fists and replied in his usual aggressive tone "Nothing, bro. Mind your business before I knock your rotten teeth in." Crispin nodded and looked down, picking the guitar up and making sure it was okay before looking back up at Kylar. "Chill out, man.. No need for violence, we're bro's, aren't we?" He said, trying to calm the other boy down. Kylar's fists clenched even tighter, his bruised knuckles turning white. "Shut the fuck up." He said, glaring at Crispin. "Why the hell were you even asleep in here? You should've gone home." Crispin stood up and put the guitar away, putting on his sweater and wiping his lips which had a small spot of drool. "I don't know, I guess I passed out. Sorry, man, this room is all yours." He said, forcing a friendly smile. Kylar watched Crispin walk toward the door, his eyes locked on his ass. He shook his head and quickly caught up to Crispin and roughly pulled him back by his hood and slammed him against a wall, earning a small groan from the brunette. "Ow, dude! What the hell is your problem?!" He yelled, rubbing his head and staring up at Kylar like a lost puppy. The taller boy grabbed Crispin's cheeks and suddenly forced him into an aggressive kiss.
Crispin grunted, his eyes wide and flustered as he realized what was happening, their eyes locked as they kept their lips pressed against one another. Kylar's eyes were narrowed, filled with a bundle of emotions, confusion, hunger, slight surprise and anger. Crispin's eyes were wide and startled, like a deer in headlights, which only increased Kylar's desire for the boy, he shut his eyes and deepened the kiss, though he found it hard to kiss him due to his height, so he pulled back. For reference, Kylar is 6'0", Crispin is 5'7"-5'8" Crispin panted and rubbed his lips, "Bro, what was tha-" He was cut off by Kylar grabbing his shirt collar and lifting him up, pinning him against the wall and kissing him with much more ease. The shorter boy grunted, grasping onto Kylar's broad shoulders and melting into the heat of this equal desire. Kylar opened his eyes, keeping them narrow and sharp as he watched Crispin's pleasure-filled expression. Crispin parted his lips, desperate for the taller boys' tongue. Kylar obliged, pushing his tongue inside of the other boys wanting mouth.
His grip tightened on Crispin's shirt, keeping him in place. Suddenly, someone opened the door, it was Jeffery. His eyes widened and cheeks turned bright red as he witnessed the intense scene. "Uh-uhm S-sorry!" He stammered, though made no move to leave. Kylar pulled back and glared at Jeffery, his voice threatening and low, "Tell anybody and I'll burn all of your Chinese books and your fucking homo cards." He barked. Jeffery stammered and made some other weird noises before stuttering out, "U-uh, okay, I'm so-sorry! Your secret is safe with me!" He then stumbled out of the room and slammed the door. Kylar dropped Crispin onto the floor and licked his lips, staring down at the boy on the floor. Crispin felt his ass ache as he was dropped, but he didn't say anything. He slowly looked up at Kylar with another awkward expression. "U-uhm, so.. you listen to anything new? Haha.." He said, his voice shaky. Kylar scowled and he knelt in front of Crispin, "No wonder you're a virgin." He whispered, biting his lip as he saw Crispin's shy expression. Kylar struggled to resist the urge to say that Crispin's lack of experience and awkwardness was pretty cute to him. "Bro, not funny. So not funny." Crispin replied.
Kylar stared into those hazel eyes before sliding his hand up and down the other boys thigh, earning a small whine from him. "Kylar, man, wait-" Crispin stammered, grabbing the veiny, brusised hand on his thigh and gently pulling it away. Kylar stood up, Crispin following right after. An awkward silence settled between them before Kylar spoke up. "This isn't gay, if you're worried about that. We're bros, nothing more." He said it as if he was trying to convince himself more than Crispin. He stepped back and nodded, "Yeah, just bros. I'm going home." Kylar said before leaving the band room, leaving Crispin alone. The lonely boy smiled to himself, looking down at his guitar pick necklace. "Just bros, you say..." He whispered to himself before grabbing his bag and exiting the school building, the purple, blue and slight orange hues of the sky shined on him, he then ran past Kylar and shot him a charming smile, which was something rare for the usual awkward, unfunny and nice guy. Kylar swore to god he felt his cheeks heat up, he really hoped they weren't pink.
The next day, it was currently lunch, Crispin was in the band room as usual, eating a sandwich with his guitar next to him. He was talking to other members in band, this was where he felt most comfortable. He always got along with everyone in band. Quietly, Kylar was spying on him through the glass window on the door, feeling a pang of jealousy punch his heart as he saw someone make Crispin laugh, it was Kyle. He never knew Kyle was in band. He decided it was the last time Kyle would ever be happy. Crispin noticed Kylar staring at him and his eyes widened, his smile fading. He lifted his hand and waved slowly, but quickly, Kylar walked away from the door and went outside on the football field, basking in the hot sun and asking Coach Colby to play lacrosse. Crispin tilted his head curiously before Kyle grabbed his attention. "Hey, man.. Something wrong?" He asked, a smile on his face. The brunette shook his head and took another small bite of his sandwich. "Uh, no, my bad." He replied. The red haired boy smirked and leaned in to whisper "You find a girlfriend yet? Is she hot?" Crispin laughed and looked down shyly, his mind filling with doubts and concerns, was he gay? It wasn't a problem if he was, but what if others didn't accept him like they did with Ari? He shook his head and looked up at Kyle. "No, you wanker. It's none of your business." Kyle scoffed and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Alright, dude. Whatever you say." He said with a raised brow. Crispin leaned back in his seat, finishing the last bite of his sandwich before he asked, "Kyle, what would you think if someone close to you was.. gay? Girl or boy." He asked, seeming casual. Luckily, Kyle was stupid enough to not realize the question referred to Crispin. "I'd probably feel.. grossed out, man. It's weird." At that, Crispin's heart sank slightly but he nodded. "Right, yeah. Totally.." He muttered, staring off into the distance as Kyle began to talk about meaningless shit.
A couple of minutes later, it was time for class. Everyone was navigating their ways through the halls, creating a chaotic atmosphere, but luckily, Crispin was safe at his locker, thinking about Kylar and the conversation he had with Kyle. He suddenly realized everyone was in their classes, he was alone in the halls. He quickly grabbed his stuff and jogged to his class but suddenly froze as he heard familiar voices echo through the hall. He walked to the source of the sounds and his eyes widened. "You fucking dipshit! What do you think you're doing in life, huh?!" Roared Kylar, repeatedly slamming Kyle against a locker who had a bloody lip and a bruised eye. Kyle weakly punched Kylar in the jaw, though Kylar didn't react, he just grabbed the other boys wrist and twisted it, earning a sharp yell from him. "Fuck! You asshole!" He grunted, glaring up at Kylar. Kylar scowled and slammed him harder against the metal lockers. "You're a good for nothing fuckwit! Grow a pair, before I fucking kill your pets and fuck the shit out of your whore of a mother!" He yelled before raising his fist and punching his nose repeatedly, causing Kyles vision to go hazy, he had a small amount of strength left in him, using that to push Kylar back and attempt to call for help, but his throat was sore due to Kylar choking him. The taller boy then tackled him to the ground and grabbed his hair, punching him in the face harder and harder with each blow, rage filling his movements. It was all jealousy. His mind flashing images of Crispin's smile, he wanted to be the only one who made him laugh. Kyle grunted and began to cry, struggling under Kylar's heavy weight. "D-dude, enough, please, I don't know what I did.." He wheezed, coughing up blood and struggling to push the other boy off of him. The blondes eyes widened in spleen and with one final, harsh blow, Kyle passed out on the cold, school floors. Kylar panted and rubbed his bloody knuckles as he got up. "What a little bitch." He grumbled, panting harder and more aggressively until he noticed Crispin standing from afar, his mouth parted and eyes wide. Kylar cracked his knuckles and threateningly walked over to Crispin. "What are you looking at, moron?" He taunted, a smirk on his lips.
Crispin stumbled back and raised his hands in surrender. "W-woah, man, chill.. I was just heading to class. No need to fight me." He said, forcing a small smile. Kylar paused at that smile, his smirk fading into a relaxed expression, he swallowed and looked away, attempting to hide his shyness. "Scram, then. You didn't see anything." He said firmly, Crispin quickly nodded and scurried off, tripping on his way. Kylar laughed and walked closer to the fallen boy, but was eventually caught by Mr. Burleday. "Kylar! Into the counselor's office, now!" He barked. Kylar punched a locker, causing a dent to form. " Oh c'mon, the counselor is so fucking gay!" He grunted, but obliged, following Mr. Burleday to the office. Crispin sat up and looked over his shoulder, seeing Kylar smile at him as he walked off. Crispin quickly looked back at the knocked-out boy. "Is no one going to help him?" He muttered, standing up and looking for a teacher, eventually he saw Mrs. Lynn who came running at full speed, her heels clacking against the floor. "Crispin, oh my god!" She squealed, quickly kneeling next to Kyle and checking his pulse, "Call an ambulance!" She ordered. After a couple of hours, Kyle was in the hospital, Kylar was suspended and so was Crispin. Despite Crispins pleas and explanations that he wasn't the one who beat Kyle up, he was still suspended. He was then sent home, his head hung low as he walked out of the school, his parents were going to be pissed. Though he was a bit excited, no school meant more time for getting high. As he was lost in his thoughts, he bumped into a tall, lean figure. He grunted, "Yo, move out of-" He was cut off as he slowly looked up, seeing Kylar stare down at him with an angry, slightly jealous expression.
