Chapter Text
He was always there.
I always knew about Keonho. He was friends with Ian they both were in the same band along with a few others. Of course our paths crossed! I mean she’s my best friend they are kinda close I guesssss. This wasn’t on purpose I don’t even know the guy that much!
It started off pretty chill. I mean a nice walk listening to Don Tolivers new album, going to get matcha. Then my phone buzzed.
Ian💓: heyyy watcha doing.
Me: just getting matcha whyyy??
Ian💓: wellll if you mustt ask! Me and my band are chilling out eating Taco Bell while writing a new song for class.
Me: oh fun! I hope it goes well.
Ian💓: do you wanna come over I’m so bored the guys can’t think of anything and I need some girl time like omg!!
Me: oh for sure lol, ik what you mean when I have to hangout with my brothers I feel the same way. Want matcha? I just got paid so ask the guys if they want anything too, don't wanna be too mean I haven’t hung out with them really.
Ian💓: YAY!! Trust me they don’t need anything they just downed like 5 tacos each I’m lowkey concerned.
Me: alright then, well be there in like 8.
To be completely honest I’m a little nervous I mean I know some of their names like Juhoon! Ok well he’s chill I have a few classes with him surprisingly. Then I know Martin just because he’s tall I don’t even know what he sounds like. The other 2 or was it 3 yeah no idea. Gosh at times like this I wish Ian would’ve introduced me to them earlier, this is gonna be so awkward.
I walked in the front door and took my shoes off. Looking around I thought they would be in the kitchen area but her parents were away so she probably just snuck the food into her room. Going upstairs I could already hear them. I took a deep breath this was gonna be bad.
Yes I am an ENFP but I’m too blunt and honest for my own good! Not even on purpose! (Most of the time) if they do something weird I’ll probably point it out without realizing it’s rude. This is bad, guys embarrass themselves half the time by just talking. “Ugh this is why I’m only friends with girls” I thought before opening the door.
“Hi!” I said trying to seem happier than I was. “YAY omg Vans your here!!” Ian said as she pulled me into a hug. “Vans?” The tall one said, oh that must be Martin I thought. “Yeah it’s Savannah, she just calls me Vans like a weirdo…” I said playfully rolling my eyes at Ian. “HEY!! it’s cause your the weirdo you hate Vans!” “My bad for not liking checkered shoes!” I said back
“Wow I feel called out are my shoes seriously that ugly..?” The boy who I didn’t recognize said looking around the room pouting. “Uh yeah? That is what I said.” I said sarcastically, honestly I didn’t care what shoes he was wearing it wasn’t that serious.
Juhoon laughed a little then said “damn she really got you.” “Shut up” the boy whipped his head around quickly. Me and Juhoon had the same classes but we never really knew each other besides for the few times he was talking with Ian at lunch or small one - two day group projects our teacher assigned us. “At least there was one other person with a brain here” I thought before sitting down next to Ian on the edge of her bed.
The conversation flowed pretty smoothly they didn’t talk to me much. To be honest I’m happy for that it would’ve made it more awkward. I later learned that another boy with longer hair who seemed shorter then the others was named Woojin. He seemed chill but not a Juhoon smart chill, kinda like a “I am cooler and have better clothes then you so I have to seem chill to not look like a douche.” Which honestly? respect.
So there is was me, Ian, Juhoon, Martin, Woojin and some boy who I still haven’t learned the name of yet. He and Martin would just start arguing over something random while me and Juhoon let out a few laughs but we were over it and Ian and Woojin were on the floor finding it hilarious.
My phone went off randomly, I wasn’t expecting a call but sure I guess. I stepped out of the room real quick, and it was my mom. I didn’t live with her but sometimes she needed help cleaning and getting groceries, I only lived a few minutes away anyways so I usually would help her with anything. I have a lot of free time for better or worse. She needed groceries for a brunch she was hosting later that evening and didn’t have time to get them.
So here I am in the supermarket with I guy whose name I still don’t know.
Of course this was Ian’s fault
By the time I left it was getting dark out and with a 20 minute walk to the supermarket then to my moms which would be another 10 minutes of course she didn’t let me go alone.
The boys lived close to her so they were used to leaving late anyways. But out of all of them why him? Like the other guys were a little annoying but this one.. seriously. He didn’t talk the entire time. Didn’t complain that Ian sent him with me. Didn’t complain about the long walks. Then on our way to my mom’s it started raining. So we ran.
Dumb idea, really.
I truly underestimate how dumb guys are. First of all the forecast said rain was incoming and he is in a tank top and long shorts with a hat. Secondly he slipped and fell holding a case of water because of the water in the sky down pouring on us. It was funny. Who am I kidding it was hilarious!
After I helped him up his fall was actually really bad. He had scratches on his knees that were bleeding. It was really gross actually. On top of everything because it was raining he fell in mud. Of course so now he is hurt, bleeding and his wounds were covered in mud. I felt bad for him. But I will remember that fall forever.
Thankfully we got to my mom’s house. I ran to put the stuff on the counter before taking him to the bathroom. He looked confused. “Are you coming??” I said “uhm what?” He was really confused. “Did you wanna clean those wounds up yourself or like did you have another plan to fall over in mud again later?” “Shut up” he rolled his eyes and followed reluctantly.
What was his deal? I mean I still DON’T KNOW HIS NAME!
I motioned for him to sit on the stool in the bathroom we oftentimes had clean towels on. He sat down with a blank expression on his face like he had no clue why he was sitting down there. Opening the medicine cabinet I grabbed antibiotics for his wounds.
I began cleaning them, he winched a little bit but really who wouldn’t with the fall he took. After they were all bandaged up he stood up. Not being used to the bandages he was unsteady on his feet.
We walked to the door because he was gonna go home, then my mom came over and shut it. “There is no way this young man is going outside in the thunder and lightning storm dressed in that and injured.” “Well what do you want me to do mom? It’s late” ”Well you need to stay over tonight anyways because of the storm so you guys can sleep in the living room I trust you.”
Seriously. Are we actually kidding? Pranks over this is not funny anymore. I STILL DO NOT KNOW HIS NAME.
