Time takes a toll on me

Summary:

Fluixon has a month before assembling and to execute the plan to betray and frame Saparata.

Saps spends time with Flux, this makes him think about if he should follow up with the plan, making huge and hard choices that will change the world, and their relationship. Is it worth it, or is it not? Who knows.

Notes:

Yes, I am re-uploading bcs it showed up late. I don't know how, and I don't know how to explain. I will make another part, dw.

I'm just sad that not many read the org one bcs I made it on April 02 and even if I uploaded it late April, it'll only show up on April 02 -_- Sorry, not really an expert in Ao3.

I hope you enjoy reading the work I made with blood sweat and tears! Enjoy!!

Chapter Text

One month.

As the sun rises, Flux takes this time to reflect. Is it really worth it to betray the love of his life? Will he risk their relationship just because of his own paranoia? Is it worth it to use, and betray, the one who owns his heart? As Flux ponders of these choices, he felt a shift beside him.

"Mm.. Flux?" Saps grumbled, rubbing his eyes. The sun embraces Saps hair, creating a halo against his white snow hair as he lifts himself up to sit beside him. Saps slowly wraps his arms around Flux's waist, laying his chin on his shoulder. "What are you doing awake..? Sleep.." He said with his morning voice. Ish, he's so hot with his morning voice. Do I really have to do it? Do I really have to loose this?

Flux chuckles, he puts his hand on Saps's soft, delicate hair and caresses it. Feeling every soft strand, the tips of every end as he kisses his forehead. "Hmm.. Make me" Flux smirked. Suddenly, Saps put his soft lips against Flux's fair skin, making him jolt and flushed.

"Wh-what are you doing, Saps?!" Flux shrieked, as Saps continues to trail down to his collarbone with soft kisses. Saps looks at him intently, "Making you sleep.?" He said looking at him, innocently. Ish, this guy is going to be the death of me. Flux scoffed as he hides his face with the shared blanket. It's soft and thick, Saps probably bought this from the market.

Saps also hid under the blanket, chuckling in victory. Hehe, I love how Flux looks so flustered right now. Saps hugs Flux's chest as he wraps his leg around his waist, locking Flux and preventing him from moving away from their position. I gotta make sure he doesn't move until I wake up, this guy is too cute to not cling to! Saps giggles and kisses Flux on the cheek. "Sleep... You'll able to move later when I wake up..!" Saps said as he shifted his position to make him and Flux more comfortable.

"You should be lucky I love you.." Flux grumbled as he embraced Saps. "Hehe.. I am." Saps whispered, only to be heard by himself as the latter went back to sleep.

Hours later, Flux woke up seeing the bedside empty. Hmp.. He didn't wake me up. Flux dragged himself to the bathroom, fix his hair and washes his face. He smells this delicious aroma surrounding the whole acropolis. Well, atleast he cooked something. Flux hurriedly marched to the kitchen. As he sees Saps cooking, his stomach growls loudly, catching Saps attention.

Saps laughed, as Flux buries his head in his hands from embarrassment. "Morning sleepy head. Sorry for not waking you up, you hungry?" Saps glanced at him and focusing back onto not burning the eggs and bacon. Flux nodded, as he sat and used his hands to support his head. Saps quickly plates his breakfast and puts fruits in a bowl. Flux's favorite seedless grapes, blueberries and strawberries.

Saps then uses a fork and skewer a piece of bacon, bringing it to Flux's mouth. Flux obediently bites in as he let's out an amused hum. "Thank youu.. Did you put honey?" Saps nods and looks at Flux endearingly,

His raven hair shining as the sun hits the perfect spot to highlight his perfect proportions. His soft side profile contrasting his deep and intense amethyst eyes, his fair skin glowing as he chews. Ish, he is so perfect, and beautiful, and perfect. Did I mention he's perfect? He looks like he was meant to be this perfect, with his charismatic personality, he is literally the definition of perfection. Ish can be really unfair sometimes in life.

"Saps.. You're staring again.." Flux complained, face red. Saps smiled, "Hehe.. Sorry. You just look too beautiful this early." Saps quickly pecks his cheek as he clears out both the plate and bowl, and starts to wash the dishes. Unaware that Flux looks at him, brows furrowed with eyes full of wary and regret.

3 weeks.

Saps wakes up, sees Flux gone but he left a note. Huh.. Why did he bother to make a note.? Saps carefully opens the note.

In Flux's beautiful cursive handwriting, he carefully wrote:

Dear Saps.

You might be wondering why I wrote this note, well, I will be away for approximately 3-4 days. Don't worry, I will be with the Conspiracy. I'm sorry I haven't informed you yesterday, it was unplanned and urgent. I hope you wake up well, please don't forget to drink enough water, and also, don't go out for to long. You'll regret it when I learn that you got sick when I get back.

I love you, don't forget that.

Sincerely, Flux.

Ps: I brought some of the fruits with me so don't worry about a huge amount of them gone in the pantry.

Saps giggles, this chud is so corny, hehe. Saps kisses the note and boosts himself up to go to the kitchen. Hmm.. Flux isn't here, I could go for a quick run..

"Are you sure? We can cancel it, you know." Thomas said, full of concern. The rest of the Conspiracy nodded, Saps were their friend after all. "I-I don't know, Thomas! We aren't sure if Yggdrasil will invade us or not! We only have 2 or 3 weeks left." Flux felt like the world was on his shoulders. What will he do now? Time has changed, this is a choice between peace and war. Peace is too fragile not to break and cause a war, there are a lot of reasons why this should break.

"Exactly! With our limited time, we don't have enough time to think and doubt! Tell us Flux, just tell us if the plan will be executed or not." Thomas sighed. He felt bad for Flux, using the only one who he holds dearly, the one he loves as a scapegoat isn't really a good idea, but he's willing to risk it for his island, for Pandora.

Flux went silent, he feels sick betraying Saps, the thought alone makes him want to vomit. He didn't now what to do now, he feels his breathing getting heavy as he tries to suck all of the remaining oxygen he can get.

"Flux, breath. Don't panic, we will use these days to properly plan if we execute it or not. Maybe we should gather the materials in case we do it and we have enough time to construct it." Flux agreed. He's grateful Thomas is his right-hand man, if it were Flux alone, he would have done impulsive things already that would've destroyed his future, especially with these kinds of stuff.

The Conspiracy, including Flux spent their days mining and gathering materials, planning the machine and testing it if it will work, staying in a campsite near a cave full of redstone and dripstone. Flux also spent the whole gathering zoning out, imagining what would be the outcome of the world if he would follow up with the plan, and what will happen to Saps.

"Thomas, he's zoning out again.." Rotation said, full of concern. The rest of their friends, nodded and looked at Flux in unison. Sera spoke up "I don't think we should continue this, what if they won't declare war? What if it was only a false alarm? All of this will be wasted, and.." Sera glanced towards Flux, not continuing as they all understand what she was trying to say.

"But what if! It's all full of what ifs. What they do declare war? Have you seen all of those posters? It's clear that they want to invade us, they're clearly jealous of us. They want to steal, and destroy us. We have to play safe and replace all of the leaders. They're clearly not fit to be one. Focus what our purpose for doing this." Thomas hated it, he hated that Sera was right and there was a chance that she was right. But this chance is too risky to even believe.

"I can't believe we're doing this." Snowbird grumbled, glaring at the ground as if it was his greatest enemy. "I know. But it's too good to be true, who knows what Yggdrasil will do. We should be cautious, the leaders are useless anyways. Getting rid of them even if the war doesn't happen will be for the better." Thomas declared firmly.

"Why does it have to be Saps..?" Snowbird asked, carefully. Realizing what he said, he slapped a hand on his mouth and hoping he wouldn't snap, Thomas is known in their friend group as very short tempered. Sera looked at him mouthing 'Shut the fuck up', Rotation looked at him wide open, and Gotoga shakes his head. Newkids agrees, "Yeah, why should it be him?" Newkids asked innocently. Sera slapped her hand on her forehead head mumbling "Idiots.."

The question hit Thomas like a brick, realizing the question made him freeze. Why does really have to be Saps? Why should it be him? The Conspiracy quickly noticed Thomas's expression, then they looked at each other, knowing why Thomas froze but couldn't find the exact answer. The question, unanswered, still hung in the air. Why did it have to be Saps?

.

Flux overheard their conversation, made him dizzy. He quickly ran to a near by bush and puked all the of the contents he ate this morning. Why did it have to be Saps? He doesn't have a clue. Why did it really have to be him? Who even came up with this idea? The idea that's making him sick, that he willingly agreed on? His vision quickly turned blurry, fighting back tears, he cleaned himself up and went back to their campsite.

Ok, Fluixon. Calm down, as Thomas said, we will take this time to decide if we do it or not. Snap out of it, you've chosen to sacrifice everything to do this. He thought to himself. We already have the materials for this contraption. We are doing this for peace of Pandora. I should leave my feelings out of this. This fully shows that I am weak, weak to put my own feelings first than saving a thousand, being selfish, such a disappointment. Weaklings are not worthy to be an Aculon. This would be a disgrace to both my family, and to myself. It's better to avoid Saparata at all costs, it would be better if we are strangers so no hard feelings will come after this. No feelings for him. It'd be better if the whole island focuses on one person than supplying that dense wasteland that will potentially kill and invade us, the rich. I will have to keep reminding myself that if I were to betray one person to save a thousand, I would. This is the fruit you bare as an Aculon, Fluixon Aculon.

2 weeks.

Ever since Flux went on that 4 day gathering with the Conspiracy, he had been ignoring Saps for when he eventually got back from the acropolis. With the warm touch, reciprocated into cold shrugs, the soft kisses, respond with sharp glares. Saps is confused 'had I done something to make him this mad?' 'what happened around that 4 day trip?', the questions sent Saps spiraling.

He tried to talk to Flux, so many times, but he would just give him the cold shoulder. He decided to give him some space even though he didn't know why he should give him space, he wouldn't react like this if he didn't do anything wrong to Flux.

While Flux, yearned for all of those. He yearned to give back hugs when Saps wrapped his hands around his waist. He wanted to kiss his sweet, warm lips as Saps kisses him on the cheeks. He's guilty, he needs Saps touch so bad, it gets to a point that it's driving him mad without it even once a day.

.

As night eventually came, Flux stares at Saps in the other side of their bed, turning his back at him while sleeping. I'm sorry, Saps. I have to do this. Flux lays himself on the other side of the bed.

Fuck, I miss him. I miss his kisses, I miss our cuddles, I-

Fluixon Aculon. A voice called out to Flux, unexpectedly, it's familiar.

Have you all ready forgot your purpose for doing this? Remember, Fluixon. Flux remembers, remembering his promise to himself, his family and to the world. I-I do. In honor of our family, I will protect and sacrifice for my island. Remember, Fluixon. He tells him. Flux tucks in their shared blanket as he hugs it. Remember, Fluixon.

As Saps hears Flux's soft snores, he finally let's out all the tears he had to hold back all week, quitely sobbing. He's missing Flux too much, even if he's just one reach away. Why, Flux? Why are you avoiding me? Have I done something, anything wrong? Please, tell me. The thought of Flux leaving, breaks Saps heart, making him sob even harder. Im sorry Flux, for what I have done to you, for my mistake that made you hate me. Do you hate me Flux? What did I do wrong to the point that you are acting like this to me? Have you lost your love for me? Tell me Flux, I'll do anything to make you love me again, please don't leave me my love.

Being separated physically? Sure, you'll see them anytime soon anyways. But, emotionally separated? Now that's a different story, a story when your love one, even so close, feels so far away. Far away from you.

The next day, Flux wakes up as early as he can, he decides he doesn't want to hurt Saps even more, so, staying away was the best for the both of them. He quitely packs some of his stuff, the essentials. He doesn't want to wake up Saps, he doesn't want to see pain and confusion in his eyes, on his oh sweet honey gold eyes.

Sadness in his eyes makes him want to cry, to admit what are his future plans, admit all of his plans to ruin him. Ruin Saparata. He quickly looked away, as he realized his vision is getting blurry. He wipes his tears away, You did this to yourself anyway, why cry? Flux sniffs. He takes all of his stuff that he packed, gave Saps a glance one more time.

Seeing his eyes puffy, red, with dry tear marks glistening as the sunrise hit his face, expression filled with pain. Was he crying? Flux heart drops, now, he really wants to cry his heart out seeing him. Flux hurriedly ran through the door, crying. Ish, I did this to myself. I did this to Saps. I don't deserve him, I never will, never did. Ish, I'm sorry Saps. I am so sorry.

As hours past, Saps eventually woke up. Seeing Flux gone. Flux, is gone. His coat is gone, his things, gone, his presence is gone, his smell is gone. Fluixon Aculon is gone, and it's all my fault.

Saps doesn't know what to do anymore. What had he done wrong to escalate Flux, leaving him. Saps cries, the ugly one. For hours, four hours. He gets to the point he fainted, he fell unconscious from crying. He feels ill, why? Why Flux? Why did you have to leave me? What did I do wrong? I'm sorry Flux. Sorry that I made you leave. It's all because of me is it? Saps thinking that, made him cry again.

Saps cried until he could only cry dry tears now, what is he going to do now, with Flux gone?

Flux arrived in their bunker, ignoring the Conspiracy and stormed off to his private office.

Rotation waved to Flux, "Morning, Flux! Oh-oh.! Uhm.. bye Flux.!" He slammed the door. "What happened to him?" he asked worriedly to Gotoga, while eyeing his office door, "Guess, dumbass." he said as he too looked at Flux's office door, concerned and confused.

Flux threw all of his stuff on the floor, throwing himself in his thin, old purple bed. He used to use it if he can't go to Saps's house. Their home. Ish, he misses him. And that thought alone made him cry, the ugly one that you can't seem to control. He cried, for hours, wailing silently, not wanting the Conspiracy to hear, check, or feel pity for him. He this to himself anyway. He still doesn't have an answer, 'why did it have to be Saps?' Flux screamed in his pillow, hoping all of his problems will go away by screaming, even though knowing it will not.

The Conspiracy heard him.

The Conspiracy wanted to check up on him.

The Conspiracy feels pity for him.

"My Ish... It's been like, four hours.! We have to atleast check up on him?" Sera whined, she asked Thomas this question for the fourth time. Flux is obviously not alright!

"We have to give him time and space. We know it's hard for him to give up Saps, and you know him. He wouldn't just, open up to us, he'll feel weak, vulnerable and would close up even more. Look, I am also concerned for him, but we need to have the right timing so he can actually open up to us." Thomas sighed, this is the fourth time Sera asked this, the others looked at him with uneasy in their eyes. I mean, who wouldn't feel uneasy and concerned for their friend? But alas, I know they understand what I'm trying to say.

Hours passed, Flux fell asleep on his bed, face faced on the pillow as the tears slowly starts to dry. A knock echos through the door, "Come in" Flux said, muffled. Thomas entered his office, carefully avoiding his abandoned stuff scattered on the floor, "Hey Flux, you alright?" he asked, eventually finding where to sit, he carefully placed himself on the edge of Flux's bed. "Do I look like I'm okay?" he didn't intended to say that with much sass, but he wouldn't just apologize. "No, not really." He answered, and sighed. "Have you.. Talked to him while staying there?" Thomas asked cautiously, one wrong word then the silent treatment, he's gotta be careful from asking Flux about, anything about this.

Hearing Thomas's question, Flux finally broke down, crying loudly as he buries his face on his damp pillow. Crying and wailing, not caring that Thomas was there, watching with pity as he rubs circles on his back. After minutes of his breakdown, Flux finally relaxed, "N-No.. I have been ignoring him, I feel so guilty Thomas. I clearly don't deserve him, he needs to be with someone better, not me. Ish, why do I have to do this to him, how could I bear the idea of leaving him? Betraying him, for the upcoming war this barren-wasteland will lead us to! I'm practically risking my sanity, life and my love for my paranoia. How does he still love me? Am I even sure that he still loves me, after all I have done for him?" he said, sniffing, ranting it all to Thomas.

Wow, this is the first time Flux opened up to me, sober. Damn, ok thank you Saps, I guess.

Thomas, a clever man who easily reads and knows his friends behaviors, knows how to persuade a person with good and right words, enough to make an average person agree or give up something, a smooth talker as you might say, doesn't know what to say about Flux's rant. Sure, he could comfort him, but they both know that isn't enough.

"Are you really sure that you would continue this, Flux? I mean, you said it yourself, it's because of your paranoia. How can we be so sure that they would invade?" he said, widening his eyes as he realized his choice of words. Shit, why did I say that? Flux glares at him, confused with a hint of irritation,"Thomas, what did you say?" Oh my Ish... He's going to yell..! Ok Thomas... you is kind, you is smart, you is important

"Look..! I'm sorry, I know there is a possibility, and the posters and the-" Flux slapped his hand on Thomas's mouth, "Shut it already, I know. But what I don't know is, why did it have to be him." Flux looked at Thomas as he slowly slipped his hand on his mouth, "I can't even answer that question, I don't know what's wrong with me.." he said as he buries his face on his hand.

Flux's sighs as he hugs his legs to his chest, as a comfortable silence stretch before them. After a few minutes, Thomas decides that he should shatter the silence, "What's our next step, Flux?" He asked, looking at Flux as his brows furrow.

"I.. I will cancel it. I-I'm still scared.. I hope I've made the right choice, Thomas." he whispered, his vision turning blurry, as Thomas hugs him. "I hope we made the right choice too, Flux" he whispered back as he pats Flux's back.

.

1 week.

Saps wakes up in cold sweat, he quickly looked for Flux by his bedside, he suddenly remembered that he was gone made him tear up again. It's been a week since Flux has left him, never looking back, never coming back.

Saps looks at the moon as he sits up, leaning his back on his headboard. Saps can't help but reminisce about Flux, his love of his life comforting him after he wakes up after having nightmares. Whispering sweet nothings until he relaxed and calm enough to go back to sleep. His raven-like hair, soft as feathers of one and his warm beautiful amethyst eyes drowning him as they embrace.

Ish, he misses him. He misses Flux. He misses his scent, his presence, his embrace, his kisses, those soft thin lips meeting his as he gets a taste of his morning coffee. Bitter, but sweet. His slim porcelain hands entangling his snow-white hair, making him lean in more with the kiss, as his other hand finds his waist, circling his thumb on his hip bone as they melt into each other. Making him feel dizzy, messy, and drunk, as if Flux was a drug. Their soft gasps and moans mingled into one than two people in love. Flux trailing down to his bare neck, nibbling and marking what is his. Saps tilting his head, he wants to be seen as Flux's.

That made Saps teary-eyed, he decided to go back to sleep, to try and forget about anything and everything, and a few moments later he finally fell unconscious.

<CallMeCass> : saps

<CallMeCass> : sapsssss saps

<CallMeCass> : sapsssss

<CallMeCass> : Saparata.

<CallMeCass> : ok that's it, I'm coming over.

Saps woke up with frantic and loud knocking, considering that the acropolis only currently has one floor, it could be heard in the master bedroom. "Coming.." Saps grumbled as he stormed to the door, upset that he had been woken up too early.

Cass bursts in, pouncing on Saps the second he opens the door. "ARE YOU OKAY? HAS FLUX IMPRISONED YOU? WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING MY MESSAGES?" Cass yelled, checking every limb Saps has. Cass sighs in relief as she sees nothing wrong with Saps.

After Cass gets up from Saps, helping him she wonders, "Wait, where's Flux?" Cass asked, looking around then to Saps. Saps made a face like she just kicked a puppy, avoiding her gaze he finally answered, "I.. Don't know.." said so low and quiet, Cass almost didn't get what he said. "What? What do you mean, 'I don't know'? Saps, where is he?" Cass never wanted to push for answers, especially to her friends, but hell, this is Saps, he opens up to everything. A living definition of 'TMI' to be exact, so what happened to them? To him?

"I.. I really don't know where he is, Cass. He.. Left a week ago, all of his stuff are gone. I.. Don't know what I did, we didn't even fight.! Ever since he went for a trip with the Conspiracy, he has been ignoring me, giving me the silent treatment and the cold shoulder when I try to talk to him. I've tried everything, i don't know what happened, maybe I did something that made him mad. But why did he leave me? We could've just talked..! I-.. I.. It's all my fault.." He rambled, burying his head on his hands as he quitely sobs.

What?! Ok, now he's wailing-

"What do I now, Cass? He's gone, the love of my life.. Is gone because of me.! —" hic "— I don't know what to do now, Cass! I don't know what to do with my life now-" Cass squished her hands on his cheeks, making him stop crying and rambling about Flux anymore. "You don't know what to do now? Get changed, let's go shopping in Westhelm! My treat." Cass declared, huffing on her chest, "Let's make you forget about Flux, and everything about this! That bastard, how could he have the guts to leave you? He could have talked to you of any problem! It's completely his fault, he's too much of being a pussy to tell you what's his problem is. " she confidently remarked, with a irritated tone.

Cass dragged Saps into their master bedroom, threw a hot ehem, 'cute' outfit at him and waited for him to change. Looking at his outfit, making him flushed. He wore a Toga, the cloth soft, comfortable and clean, displaying his somewhat slim but lean figure. A cloth belt tightening his Toga, shaping his small waist, embroidered with grapes and vines symbolizing the Greek God Dionysus. A gold fibula securing his Toga, glimmering through the morning sun, as a sweat trickles down from his chest. "Isn't this a bit too... Revealing?" Saps said as he turned red from embarrassment.

"It's definitely an outfit to make him beg." she scoffed, "We are only shopping! This is too dramatic." Saps mumbled as he ran a hand through his face, "Ugh, you're the one who's too dramatic! You were literally crying rivers, saying you miss him. You want a man back? Make them beg, easy." she flipped her hair, exiting the room, "Let me know if you're reading to go." As Saps sighed loudly, I mean, what's the harm making him beg again? Besides, he really wants to see Flux beg, knees on the floor, hands gripping on each other as he sobs, begging him to take him back, those sweet amethyst looking at him desperately-.. Saps, this is not you. Oh my Ish.. He snapped, looking at the mirror and realizing he's red as a tomato, he rushed out of the room.

.

.

.

As they boat through the seas to Westhelm, Cass starts to rambled on about her duties, she loves her citizens but sometimes they're a bit too annoying for her to handle. She's greatful for all of her advisors for helping through times, even she could not find any answers or questions. Eventually, they arrived at Westhelm, seeing stalls and stores bustling through the crowd.

They somehow, stumbled onto a festival, people saw them, though shocked by their arrival, welcomed them and escorted them to the empire. As they arrive, Spyder, seeing them greeted them, "My, Lady Cass and Ambassador Saparata! It's a surprise of your visit to the Empire. Please excuse me as I will call upon the Emperor." Spyder said, with a tired but happy smile.

For a couple of minutes flew by, the Emperor finally arrived and welcomed them as they were invited to his private office.

"Ah, Lady Cass and Ambassador Saparata, so what brings you here in my beautiful, majestic, and great Empire?" Schpood said with a teasing tone, a wide grin spreading through his face ear to ear as he lays on his fancy sofa, leaning his back as Spyder sits down, him laying his legs on Spyder's lap. Making Spyder snort silently, hiding it quickly with a loud cough," Oh, don't be ridiculous act Schpood. We're just passing by, casually going shopping with this lover boy. " Cass stated, her hands on Saps's shoulders as she lightly shakes them, "Casually? Saps looks like he's about to model! Wait, where is your dear Fluixon, Saps?" Schpood asked, laughing with his full chest as he looks around for him.

Saps gave him a weak smile as he continued, "He's... Not here." Cass looked at him, no, glared at him saying, "He's not only here, he also left Saps!" Cass yelled frustrated, tilting her head towards Schpood and Spyder. Their faces expressing mixed emotions of shocked, confusion, agitated and pity.

"WHAT?! How dare he! He got blessed by this angel with all of his love, to only break his heart?! Unbelievable!" Schpood scoffed, making him sit up right and lay his head on Spyder's shoulder, "Did you guys fight? What made the Ambassador leave you? I will tell you, Fluixon is a wise and responsible man, how and why would he leave you without any reason?" Spyder question, his face mostly puzzled, and in fact he was right.

Flux is a wise and responsible man, how and why did he leave me without any reason? Saps doesn't know, he can't possibly answer that question, even if he tries, in the end he'll start to be miserable and ramble on about Flux leaving him and him not knowing what to do. So, Saps ended up shaking his head, "No, we didn't fight. Atleast, if we did, I'd knew why he left me." and the smart man Spyder was, he instantly knew what was up. Well, not really, but you get the point.

"Oh my.. I am incredibly sorry, Saps. I.. Don't have anything to say but that it's not your fault. Even if you don't know why he left you, you shouldn't hate yourself for it." Spyder looked at him, full of pity in his eyes. Saps already knew he didn't know why Flux left, but now Spyder mentioned it, it struck him hard. Making his vision blurry, Cass gripped on his wrist as Spyder and Schpood looked at each other briefly and then right back to him.

"Ah! Look at the time. Emperor, Empress, I fear our meeting must be cut short. We are quite in a rush right now and we are so sorry that we might have to postpone our meeting, if you will excuse us?" Cass whispered her last sentence, Schpood instantly nodded, "Alright, may our meeting be postponed, you may excuse yourselves" and as right as Schpood excused them, Cass quickly dragged Saps, exiting the Palace.

Schpood sighed, as he slumped down, sitting on Spyder's lap, "And I thought they were forever, now I don't believe in love. I must hunt that Fluixon down." he said, tightening his fist as moon crescents form in his palms. Spyder kissed his head as he combs his hand through his soft brunette hair, "I hope they work it out, but I still can't believe he just left him for no reason. Fluixon's a cunning wise man, but he's still fell in love with Saps, the complete opposite of him. He was so head-over-heels for Saps, so why did he leave him?" Schpood nodded in agreement, "We have no judgment on this but, I am definitely on Saps's side!" he huffed, nuzzling on Spyder's touch as he continues to untangle his messy hair.

They left the Palace, Cass sighed, "Look, we will forget about Flux, and just have fun, Ok?" Saps nodded, even when he refuses her, she will still continue to drag him around. They looked at the stalls, eating street and sweet foods, bought jewelry, and trinkets, chatting about everything and nothing as they eventually got tired and sat in a bench. The sun slowly started to descend, the sunset hitting their view with the most beautiful colors they've seen in their years, Cass spoke up, "This is fun, we should do this every festival." she giggled, as he rolled his eyes dramatically, "Yeah, and practically drag me around? No thanks." Cass gasped dramatically as she poked at his cheek, "You're such a drama queen." she smirked, Saps looked away, looking at the beautiful view blessing his eyes, time really flies by.

When the sun finally descended, Schpood called for them, inviting them for dinner and a room at the Palace, "Good evening, Lady Cass and Ambassador Saparata! Please, have a seat! We have a lot to serve tonight, I hope you guys aren't full." Schpood said to them, full of mirth as he sat at the middle of a long round table. The food looked so delicious, the main courses being a perfectly roasted turkey, a cut up medium-rare steak with melted garlic butter spread on top of the steak, topping it of with parsley, and some of the delicacy Saps isn't familiar with. The night went through as the group chatted like old friends catching up, Saps getting tired, excused himself and went straight to his room.

Saps flew himself on the king bed, giving weight to the comfy blanket and pillows as he sinks in, letting his consciousness slip away from his grasp.. Buzz, buzz..

Huh? His communicator is buzzing for some reason, I should check it-...
