When you were designed your purpose was to help create adventures with Caine, he would create what you would design. It was a simple and effective relationship for a while, though as the years passed you both grew closer and eventually realized that your feelings for one another was not just one of friendship or coworkers, and after years of observing and learning from humans you realized you felt love for each other.
In the circus you were a purple and pink striped humanoid cat, you wore a striped shirt in slightly darker shades of pink and purple with simple jeans that had all kinds of patches of many shapes with all kinds of things written on them (examples: this way, that way, over there, not here), with fluffy ears with a few piercings and a fluffy tail, your constant grin can come off as un nerving and at times creepy. You have a habit of speaking in rhymes, riddles, or in a way that makes no sense which often confuses and at times angers others but Caine absolutely loved your little rhymes, riddles, and confusing sentences. Though your habit of disappearing a little at a time did freak him out for the first few months he grew used to it and now likes to guess which part of you will appear or disappear first.
You tend to appear over his shoulder and say something random and extremely weird but in this circus it's most likely actually happening, like that time you appeared out of nowhere, scared the cast and just told Caine “Dear, the dodo’s chasing the whale around the flower field and knocked down a giant mushroom and the caterpillar turned into a butterfly and is chasing the dodo with a spear it stole from the bandersnatch’s cave.” With your signature wide grin, and what do you know it, not long after you said that a whale somehow running on its back fins that was being chased by a dodo that was being chased by a butterfly holding a spear and yelling about the giant mushrooms came running through the tent and past the cast while you just watched the events unfold. Sadly that was just a normal occurrence in this insane circus, but as you like to say “Who's to say who's truly insane, perhaps it's the insane that see the world for what it truly is while those who are sane see what they believe is true. But hey, what's life without some insanity!” before laughing as you disappeared while your laugh echoed long after you were gone.
When speaking your rhymes and riddles to Caine they were always weird but sweet and often either had no answer, was something only related to the two of you, or answered in a way that made him laugh as it made no sense but perfect sense to the two of you. You could talk others in circles for hours and they'd be no further along with what they'd asked about but Caine knew exactly what you meant and your words made complete sense to him, rather it's the fact that he's your husband, has spent almost every second with you for the past 21 years, or maybe because your both AI’s the cast will probably never know.
Currently they were wandering through a large forest trying to find the castle of the tyrannical queen. They were stopped when they reached a point where their path broke off into several directions that then split off into more pathways, there were around 30 different paths they could take and knowing the two of you only one would get them to the castle. Just before they could start arguing on what path to take they hear some upbeat humming with the occasional psychotic giggles. You slowly appear in the tree in the middle of the forked path. “Well well, it seems the kitties are lost~” you said with a mock pout, swinging your legs back and forth as you sat fully on the branch “What do you want y/n?” Jax rolled his eyes, “Oh I'm simply here to guide you.” You said, falling backwards off the branch before disappearing and popping up on a different branch. “Well, we were following a bunny, have you seen it?” Ragitha asked “Oh yes, I saw a fluffy white tail run off over there.” You said nodding in one direction while pointing in another “Though I do suppose he might have gone that way-” you said pointing in another direction “- or perhaps that way, up or down this or that –heh– who knows, this forest takes you where it wants ~!” You ramble on to yourself before continuing
“Anyways ~ I believe he was off to see the mad hatter.” You said as you let your claws out to look at them “Mad hatter? We um– we don't really want to talk to anyone insane.” Pomni muttered as you looked down at her before sliding down onto your stomach and hanging off the branch, “Oh sure sure.”
You nodded as if accepting her response “Well feel free to talk to the march hare or dormouse.” “Yeah I think we'll talk to them” “of course they're mad too~.” you smirked, “We don't want to talk to a @#$&-ing insane NPC!” Zooble growled, already upset about being dragged into this adventure. Their little tantrum made you laugh “Oh you can't help that~ most everyone's mad here.” You giggled, unhooking your legs from the branch letting yourself fall only to disappear before you hit the ground.
After you did your job of nudging the cast in the right direction in your own way you appeared in Caine's office, he was sitting in his chair looking over some plans for tomorrow's adventure and you being the cheeky feline you were climbed onto the desk, knocking something off so he'd pay attention to you. “Huh!? Oh if it isn't my favorite grinning feline!” He teased as you crawled on the desk before plopping down into his lap purring “How many other grinning felines do you know?” You teased right back, lightly butting your head against him as he scratched behind your ear the way you like.
“Whatcha workin on pretty boy~.” You asked, tilting your head back to see what he was working on “An awards ceremony! Everyone will cast their vote on who is the best character in the circus including us, my pretty kitty!” Caine said as he enthusiastically pointed out different things on the page he was drawing plans on “Oooo~ sounds fun, I would or maybe I wouldn't want the others to be upset when you win, you are after all the best ringmaster.” You purred out as he blushed at your compliment, as you both sat in silence for a while your grin widened as you turned to Caine “Caine my love, tell me, why is a raven like a writing desk?” “Oh that's simple! There….. ther-…. Like a writing desk?..... A raven… and a writing desk?......... What?” as he sputtered in confusion you simply sat back and giggled watching him try to find an answer for which there was none.
Once the awards ceremony had ended and votes had been cast you wandered around looking for Caine to see who'd won. You had found him backstage, sitting on the floor as NPCs cleaned up, your ears dropping a tiny bit. You walked over to sit next to him as you wrapped your tail around him “Oh me oh my, tell me dear, what's on your mind?” You questioned, seeing his eye slightly gloss over “I only got one vote.” He mumbled his voice low and soft, completely different from his normal booming theatrical tone. Your grin dropped to a small, nearly non-existent and pathetic smile. You had voted for him, you were the only one to. “I know you were the only one that voted for me…… why?” He mumbled, wondering why you were the only one to vote for him as you tried to think of something to cheer him up even if it was only a little bit. “I'm a treasure that can't be bought, I'm giving freely and a lot yet I'm priceless. I can heal as easy as I can hurt. What am I?” you whispered, tilting his face to look at you “I- I can't say I know, kitty.” He sniveled “Love” you smiled at him, eyes gentle and full of love as you kissed his teeth and held him close as you started to purr, hoping to soothe him. “I love you, my dearest heart. They simply don't appreciate all that you do darling.” You whispered as you comforted him while your mind ran wild thinking of ways to torment the cast for upsetting Caine, after all he was the constant joy and insanity you loved, “Perhaps to amend their wrong they should fight the fearsome jabberwock, or be a snack for our darling bandersnatch!” You said as your insane giggle started breaking out into full laughter which caused Caine to start laughing softly, your laugh was contagious to him, “Should we get to work on our next adventure? That always cheers you up.” you said standing up and offering your hand, once he took it you pulled him up. Once you had reached your office your ears perked up a bit with an idea on how to cheer him up a little, pulling him close you wrapped your arms around his shoulder/neck area before whispering “Will you, won't you, will you, won't you join the dance?” You asked, tilting your head slightly and batting your eyelashes at him,“Heh- y-yes of course dear!” He chuckled lightly in embarrassment, he was always weak to your gorgeous eyes and to you in general.
As you snapped your fingers changing the normal circus music that played lightly in the background into something a little more romantic but still had the circus edge to it you pulled him into a waltz that was a little more crazed than it was supposed to be but in this crazy circus that's how it's supposed to be done. Once the dance had come to an end he dipped you and kissed you gently as you purred loudly, tail wagging slightly “You my love are the best thing to ever happen to me.” He said against your lips before putting back and setting you on your feet “And you are the best wonderland I could ever hope for ~” you told him, nuzzling into his chest as he sat down allowing you to climb in his lap to cuddle. As he sat there cuddling and petting your soft hair he felt all his worries fade and suddenly everything he was so upset about seemed unimportant. At the end of the day who cares about the awards ceremony? Who needs others' validation, so long as you love him, what more could he ask for? “Oh my dear, my darling heart I hope we never part. Your mind holds wonders never to be told and yet I've always been the type to seek the unknown, you are the wonderland in which I seek I hope you find the same within me.” You really were his wonderland, his circus, his everything and the only thing he'd ever need.
