Family always finds eachother.
Whether it be through storm or snow, through war and bloodshed or even just a simple walk in the park.
A true family will always reconnect.
And for Michelangelo it happened gradually; losing people yet gaining people he never knew he missed until he found them.
His father, bless his old wretched heart kept a part of his soul away from him and his brothers for so long.
And his poor sisters, living countries away for 17 years. Until fate alined in perfect unison.
They met by accident. A flippant wrong turn on mikeys part.
He remembers it so clearly, his orange adorned face and perfectly framed baby blue eyes meeting the hazel brown and redwood colour eyes of the two very surprised and awed turtles.
One which had a yellow mask covering her face; body covered in a weirdly pretty array of scars.
And the other had a turquoise blue cloth framing her sharp features perfectly, her own array of scars decorating her body.
He remembers the way they starred at eachother, the way the yellow one whispered out " holy shit vee", he can think back fondly on the way the turquoise adorned turtle- vee? Slapped the yellow turtle over the head lightly.
"Am I dreaming?? Please dont tell me I'm dreaming- " mikey had murmured out, moving his arm up and pinching his skin. "Ok ok, definitely awake.." he mumbled.
"Your a turtle? A mutant turtle?" Vee was it? Mikey remembers how long it took him to realise Vee wasn't her actual name.
He nodded his head, eyes still wide with pure awe.
" oh my shell!!!" He squealed out, snapping himself out of the shocked state he sat in only moments prior.
"THERE ARE MORE TURTLES!!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFEE!!!"
He was told later by his sisters that the smile that stretched across his face when he said those words was such a sincere and joyful smile that they both knew he wouldn't be of any trouble to them.
"OH MY GOSHHH- YOU DUDETTES ARE SO COOL!!
WHAT IS YOUR NAME??? MINE IS MICHELANGELO AND OOOOMMGGGG YOUR WEAPONS LOOK SO SICKKK-"
apparently he 'yapped so loudly his brothers could hear it from a mile away'
Yet at that moment, any care for stealth was very easily abandoned. As he set out to gather information about these two turtle mutants.
The yellow one was Jennika, she held herself with confidence and subtle passion. She had an aura surrounding her that shared similarities with; raph and casey.
The turquoise one was Vee ( or later understood to be actually called Venus ) had an aura similar to Leo's, April's and leatherhead.
Michelangelo lost himself in rambling to the very surprised mutants. Who just starred at him wide eyed.
Until he was stopped by words that dropped into the air like a bomb.
"Oh my, we really do have a brother.."
The orange banded mutant paused his yapping to stare at the other two.
Those words hanging in the air, words that held more meaning that simple letters.
"Dudette.. what in the shell do you mean brother" he spoke out, breaking the fragile silence.
"... we were sent here by our master.... we were told we were separated from our sibling as children, though I never fully believed it till now..." the one called Vee whispered into the nightsky air. Eyes not leaving him and hand not leaving jennikas shoulder.
"We actually have a brother? Holy shit! I- I can't believe master was right this whole time! Thought he was spewing some old time story BS" jennika started off, throwing her hands around while she ranted with passion.
"Jen, please don't swear infront of our newly met brother, please" the turquoise adorned turtle lightly scolded her sister, reminding mikey of him and leo.
"Oh my shell, my bros are goanna freak" mikey mumbled into the night time air.
The two other turtles ( his sisters!??) Quickly turned their attention back to him.
"What do you mean, your 'bros'?" Vee asked.
"Well I mean my brothers! Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo" mikey answered with a happy tone.
"WE HAVE MORE THEN ONE OTHER SIBLING!!!!"
