Columbina spent her entire life dedicating to her work and music. She never had time to date seriously. Only those situationships and 14 days trial ghosters. She gave up looking for love and just decided maybe love is within herself. But here loneliness started creeping in. She started staying at home and decided not to go out anymore and just stay with her cat Pulonia. It was her new happily ever after until her friend Arlecchino started to be concerned about her well being.
On her friends circle hang out, only Columbina is absent.
"She didn't come again?" Her friend Lauma asked. She felt a hand on her shoulder that pulled her closer, it was her girlfriend Nefer.
"As expected. Is this what the 30's effect feels like? Shutting in everyone." Nefer scoffed, "I swear she needs to go out more and date. Pulonia can't take care of her like someone would." she continued.
"But she said she wouldn't date guys again after that Aether scenario." Jahoda made a disgusted face as she looked at the couple having PDA in front of them.
"Get a room you two!"
"That womanizing mother fucker." Arlecchino commented, "He's also your ex right?" she asked the girl who was holding her hand.
"Bad decisions happens. Don't judge me!"
"Are you dating Arlecchino, Furina?" Nefer smirked and Furina rolled her eyes and said, "W-We're just friends!"
"Liar." Nefer replied.
Arlecchino laughed and said, "We're taking things slow."
"Anyway! Columbina is pretty. Even if she doesn't want to be pretty, people would date anyone these days, even robots!" Furina said trying to change the topic.
"Nice save." Lauma commented.
"Shut up, love birds." Furina drink some water to calm down herself.
"Robot dating sounds weird." Nefer commented.
"It is weird." Arlecchino replied.
"It is not." Jahoda suddenly spoke and the room was silent as all attention was into her.
"Don't tell me you are dating a robot-" Lauma said until she realized that Jahoda was smiling like a girl in love.
"No way! I don't believe you." Arlecchino said.
"She's outside, you want me to introduce you to her" Jahoda asked.
"Call her inside!" Nefer told Jahoda excitedly.
"Okay okay, chill! I'll call Ineffa." Jahoda stood up and went outside the cafe for awhile.
When she came back, she was with her robot girlfriend, Ineffa. Ineffa looks like a real human being and she also acts like one. A perfect girlfriend.
"Greetings, my name is Ineffa. It is my duty to serve and make Jahoda happy." Ineffa said and everyone was so shock.
Ineffa sounds like a human.
"Wow, she looks like a human. Does she love you though?" Nefer asked
"Although my body is not human, my creator Aino, made an artificial intelligence that make us robot feel human. I love Jahoda. I'll do anything for Jahoda." Ineffa said and Jahoda looks like she melted into puddles.
"Whoa, okay. So who is Aino?" Arlecchino asked Jahoda.
"She's the creator of robot girlfriend in Nod Krai. Robots who have heart, loyal and will serve their humans. They come with life time warranty. So we will be together forever." Jahoda said proudly.
"What if you grow old?" Lauma asked Jahoda, Ineffa spoke on behalf of her human.
"Aino can redesign our appearance and make me look ages like Jahoda." Ineffa replied and everyone was in awe.
"If Columbina doesn't like boys anymore, maybe she can try this robot girlfriend!" Arlecchino said,
"Her birthday is coming soon right?" Arlecchino asked everyone and seems like Nefer picked up her plan.
"Perfect, we can modify her partner base on her taste!" Jahoda cheered.
"What? We can do that like sims?!" Furina asked
"Better than sims!" Jahoda replied
"What's her taste like?" Nefer asked
"Doesn't she read those villainess isekai manhwas every time?" Lauma stated.
"Then it's settled."
"On Columbina's 30th birthday, we'll send her a robot girlfriend." Arlecchino announced.
And it was decided.

Two weeks after, Columbina was just minding her own business. She planned to buy a small cake for her birthday and celebrate it alone with her cat. Having no family in the city, she doesn't have a choice but celebrate it by herself. It is also by her own choice that she doesn't want to see her friends. Their energy is too much for her.
Today, the plan is to sleep all day. After all, it's a paid approved leave. Her work is already too tiring everyday and she needed some time to recharge. But she thought it would be great if someone will be here with her to put their arms around her as she rest.
But it's a topic she will never talk with anyone or admit to herself. She is complete. She is stable and most importantly she has a cat. A ring on her door made her snap her thoughts.
She opened the door and a big box was beside the delivery guy.
"Are you Miss Hyposelenia?" The guy asked.
"Yes, what's this?" Columbina asked.
"I am Flins, this is a package from Aino Inc." The guy said.
"But I didn't order anything." Columbina said.
"Here's the card for more details. This is already paid." Flins said and he was about to leave until he looked back at the confused girl.
"Please take care of it and it will take care of you back. There is no refund and exchange. Only a lifetime warranty. It's designed to be a partner for life. Also, try not to do freaky stuffs with it on the first three days , no matter how it act. It needs to calibrate first and know thy owner."
"What do you mean?" Columbina asked
"Enjoy!"
"Wait-" but Flins already left.
She read the card, "Happy Birthday, Columbina. Enjoy our gift for you! PS. Jahoda said the first three days will be hot. Don't get burn! Muhaha. It's the adjustment period. it also has life time warranty, and everyone of them has different faces so don't worry! We customize it like your type. - the gang"
She still didn't understand the card and Mr Flins.
"You better not be a bomb." Columbina commented as she pushed the box inside her house.
Pulonia sniffed the box and scratched it, "Aww, you'll help me open it? Let's go." Columbina removed the tapes on the box.
"Why is it so sealed?" She huffed until she gets into the final seal, she opened it and was taken a back in what she saw.
"What the fuck? Is this a mannequin? But it looks human!" She saw a manual beside it and took it. She realized it was a robot.
"Partner for life... Model Marionette 2.0. What the heck?!"
She looked at the robot in front of her until her cat Pulonia jumped on it and press the key on the robot's back.
The robot opened her eyes and started moving.
It looks like a human, a beautiful human being just like Columbina's type. The face of protagonist on the manhwas she reads every night.
Columbina was shocked and still starstrucked that she didn't noticed the Marionette hovered on her and Columbina fell on the floor with Marionette on top of her.
"Wow..." Columbina's breath hitched as she looked at the Marionette closer.
"Are you my human?" The Marionette asked
"Uh-"
"Are you my human?" Marionette asked again rather impatiently.
"Uh-"
"Do you speak English? I can switch language if you like."
"Uh-huh?" Columbina answered.
"Then excuse me, I have to gather your data." The Marionette leaned in and kissed her.
"Oh"
And her hand roam around her body.
"Mhm."
'How talented.' Columbina thought as she groaned to stop a moan from coming out.
Columbina realized how data gathering felt so nice.
"I see, so that's how your measurements. Other than that I am installed with your personal informations inside my chip." Marionette stood up and reached for Columbina's hand to help her stand.
"Uh?!"
"Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Sandrone, I'm your robot girlfriend."
It seems like a perfect scene until the robot spoke again.
"Uh..."
"Are you disabled that you can't speak?" Sandrone crossed her arms on her chest and raised her brows.
"Eh?"
"I see, so you're just stupid."
Columbina got a top bratty robot for her birthday.
"Huh?!"
"How dare they give me to a stupid human as a birthday gift?! Ugh!" Sandrone complained.
Columbina cleared her throat and introduced herself, "I'm Columbina. Sorry, everything is just new to me. I didn't expect robot girlfriends to be..."
"To be what?" Sandrone asked.
"Dominant."
Then, she saw Sandrone's eyes sparkled and she put her finger under Columbina's chin and lift it up to look at her eyes.
"It seems like I have to teach you a lot of things." Sandrone smirked, "Happy fucking birthday to you."
'It's gonna be a long day...' Columbina thought.
