Work Text:
Miku sat and sipped on her coffee while still in her pajamas with unbrushed hair.
Ugh, I haven't been able to stop thinking about Friday.
A lot had happened. Teto had, an accident. Miku had discovered online that she had a piss kink, seriously, why did it have to be this, of all things? And finally, Miku almost—
Shut up!
Her brain wouldn't stop replaying that moment either.
Miku got up and figured she should start getting ready, she can't be late.
She clocked in and sat down at her desk, just like any normal Monday. Miku tried her best to act as naturally as she could. She checked her MiMail and found a message from the boss.
Miku continued her project she had been working on before she left on Friday. Her coworkers were talking about their weekends and what they did.
"I got to go to a new pop up shop!" Rin beamed.
"Nice!" Luka responded.
"I just remembered there's a new cafe nearby. We should check it out together sometime," Meiko suggested. "What day would work for you guys?"
"I don't have any plans tonight," Gumi replied.
"Me either," Rin said.
"Sounds good to me," Luka agreed.
Meiko turned to Miku, "What about you Hatsune-san?"
Miku was so focused on her work that she hadn't picked up on any of their conversation.
"Hatsune-san?" Meiko repeated.
She snapped out of it and looked at the others.
"Huh?"
"Do you wanna join us at the new cafe tonight?" Rin asked.
"Sure," Miku said.
Gumi was a little disappointed that Miku was going to be there.
Miku noticed that Teto had finally arrived, but her hair wasn't up in her usual pigtails.
Teto's hair was fully down and a little frizzy.
Miku was mesmerized, she couldn't take her eyes off the girl.
She's so pretty.
"Good morning Kasane-san," Luka started. "What's up with your hair?"
"I slept through my alarm and didn't have time to do it at home," Teto answered.
Miku's eyes were still fixated on Teto. It was only when the girl looked back for a moment that Miku noticed she had been staring, and quickly averted her gaze. A slight blush could be visible on her face.
Why was Hatsune-san looking at me like that? Teto thought, looking away as well. She had only seen Miku's eyes in the short time she saw her. They had seemed to look somewhat entranced.
What is wrong with me? I can't have any feelings for Newbie! Pull yourself together!
"Hey Kasane-san, Otomachi-san scheduled a meeting with us at 9:15," Gumi mentioned.
"Thanks for letting me know," Teto said as she sat down at her desk. She began to brush her hair and could feel Miku watching her.
The woman liked how Teto looked with her hair down, even if it was unbrushed. She didn't want Teto to put it into pigtails so soon.
Miku got an idea. If Teto had to make her some coffee, then she'd get to see her cute hair for longer.
"Newbie~," Miku called. "Can you get a coffee for me?"
"Yeah, after I finish my hair," she was almost done brushing it.
"I asked you just now, because I want it now," Miku clarified.
Remembering she was attacked the last time she upset Miku, Teto got up and began making a fresh batch of coffee.
Good girl.
Miku didn't realize she'd just thought that.
Teto gave Miku her coffee and finished putting her hair up.
"It's almost time for the meeting," Luka noted, "if we leave now we'll probably be right on time."
They walked to the meeting room together, it felt weird to not bring anything. Well, Miku brought her coffee, but other than that they didn't have anything.
"Good morning girls," Una said when Miku and the others entered the room. Her voice was serious. "I've organized this meeting because I'm beginning to get a little concerned."
A few of the women exchanged glances.
"It seems that five of you have had, um, accidents while on the clock," Una began. "This isn't an issue in any other departments."
Miku turned to her coworkers to see Luka looking a little tense, Gumi with her head down, Rin covering her face and...
...Is Meiko trying to hide a smile?
Meiko thought it was funny how the younger women were all embarrassed so easily.
"So, is that it?" Miku asked, drinking a bit of coffee.
"I was wondering if there was anything that could be causing this," Una stated.
"Well, I believe we all have a liking for coffee. Personally, I haven't been drinking as much of it," Meiko said.
"I appreciate the info, I think that's it for now," Una replied. "Kasane-san, Hatsune-san, I need you to stay for a moment. The rest of you can leave."
She waited for the others to leave before she continued.
"Explain why I want to talk to you," Una ordered.
"Eh..." Teto wasn't sure.
"Cause the new kid decided to throw coffee on me for no reason," Miku said.
"It wasn't on purpose!" Teto defended.
"You really need to learn to respect your superiors," Miku teased.
"I—"
"Fighting again?" Una questioned. "We really need to sort you two out, don't we? I have an idea. A good one that will make sure you don't fight again."
Teto turned to Miku, looking no higher than her shoulders.
She's so tall.
"Hug it out!" Una exclaimed.
"Heeeh?" Teto thought she must've misheard the boss.
"You two have the potential to be great coworkers! Now hug it out!" Una elaborated.
"Right... Let's hug it out, Newbie," Miku said hesitantly, standing up with her arms out. She wasn't sure how she felt about this.
"S-Sure..." Teto stood up as well.
Miku lifted up the short girl into a hug. Teto's feet were at least six inches off the ground. Miku realized she hadn't hugged anyone in a while.
"This is great," she rested her head on Teto's. "I really feel us connecting through this."
"Y-Yeah—"
Miku subconsciously hugged her tighter, she actually loved this.
"Ah!" Teto yelped. Miku was holding her a bit too tight.
"We're gonna have a good time, you and me," Miku felt very relaxed.
"Ahhh... I'm such a good boss," Una affirmed.
"Someone help me!" Teto pleaded.
"That's good enough, you two can stop now," Una said as Miku put Teto down.
Miku still wanted to hug for longer.
"Kasane-san, you can go back to your work now," Una waved her hand to signal for the door.
Once she was gone, Miku felt the room get colder.
"Hatsune-san. Why do we have security footage of you entering the men's bathroom on Friday?" Una glared.
Miku's shoulders tensed and her eyes widened.
"Uh," she adjusted her tie.
"There's no use in trying to deny it."
"Well, the, the women's bathroom was being cleaned," Miku explained.
"And why would that be a reason for you to enter the men's?" Una pressed.
Miku hid her face in her hands, as if the shame wouldn't find her that way. She muttered something that Una was unable to hear.
"I need you to speak up, Hatsune-san," Una ordered.
She raised her head so Una could hear her better, but she couldn't make eye contact. The boss saw that Miku was on the verge of tears.
"I... I couldn't hold it anymore."
. . . . .
"Apologies, I didn't mean to make you cry. You can leave now," Una finished. Miku's voice had been shaky.
Miku stood and turned to leave as soon the first tear spilled over. Since the meeting room and her section were pretty far apart, she had some time to compose herself before she had to face her coworkers again.
She sniffled as she wiped her eyes with her sleeve. When Miku turned the corner she quickly walked over to her desk and tried to act like she hadn't just been crying.
The other women had heard her and she still looked like she was crying even if the tears weren't on her face.
Even Gumi was worried about her, they had never seen Miku cry.
"Hey, are you okay Hatsune-san?" Gumi whispered.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Miku said, immediately continuing her work.
Once she was able to calm down, she couldn't stop thinking about Teto. She kept glancing up at the girl, she even looked cute with her hair up now.
"Go get me another cup, Newbie," she didn't put any effort into teasing Teto this time.
"Okay."
She's so small, so weak. So pathetic, Miku thought as she studied Teto.
"Here you go," Teto handed the coffee to Miku.
"Thanks," she responded genuinely.
"Uh, you're welcome," Teto returned. Miku never thanked her before, and she worried that something was wrong.
Miku started to drink her coffee, and it seemed to flip on a switch; Miku felt a twinge in her bladder. She ignored it, for she believed there was almost never a reason to go to the bathroom at only the first sign of a need. She usually waited a little, but Miku had never waited as long as she did on Friday.
She shifted her position, making the chair squeak.
I can feel Hatsune-san looking at me all the time today. Is there something wrong?
"Um, Hatsune-san?" Teto began. She attempted to look up at the woman. "Is there something wrong with my hair or something?"
For a second, Miku was still staring. Then she processed that she was being questioned on exactly that.
"Oh. It's nothing, you look great," she wasn't thinking straight, her staring being noticed had flustered her.
Rin leaned over to Gumi's cubicle and whispered, "I think someone's got a cruuush~!"
"She sure does," Gumi chuckled. She whispered to Miku, "We know she's pretty, but you gotta write at least one word today, Hatsune-san."
"Shut up," she crossed her legs and started typing.
Miku had been able to tune out the signals from her bladder for a while, but eventually they came back, and she crossed her legs the other way. She'd hoped that would make it a little bit more comfortable; it didn't.
Not wanting a repeat of Friday, Miku stood up—sooner than she usually would—and began walking, just to be immediately interrupted on her trip to the bathroom.
"Good luck during the meeting, Hatsune-san!" Luka wished.
The meeting. Miku had somehow totally forgotten about the weekly updates she had with the other departments on Mondays. "Thanks," she replied. Hopefully Kaito wouldn't be so hostile today.
"Finally. I thought you weren't gonna show up," Kaito said, sipping his coffee as Miku entered the room.
"I'm not even late, the meeting would've started in two minutes," Miku sighed. So far, it seemed he was his usual self.
"You guys in finance must think you're so much better than us in operations," he accused.
Damn it. Of all the days, it has to be today that Kaito decides to start an argument before the meeting has even begun.
"Look, I'm not in the mood for this. Can we just get started?" Miku asked, pinching the bridge of her nose as she sat across from Kaito.
"Fine. Kagamine-san, what's up with marketing?" He questioned.
Len adjusted his glasses, "Well, we've been working on some new ads. If everything works out we'll have them ready before the end of the week."
"Great, Kaai-san?"
"HR is doing well, I believe our new employee in finance is starting to fit right in!" Every now and then Yuki would check in on Teto and her coworkers, and over time, everyone—except Miku—began to treat her nicely.
"Nice, but over in operations we've been struggling to keep up with orders because of the lowered budget," Kaito glared at Miku.
"We can't just give you guys special treatment. We need to pay people and business is always a little slower in summer," Miku defended.
"That new kid isn't even important! What's important is making sure we can afford to make products for the customers!" Kaito yelled, slamming his hands on the table as he quickly stood up.
"If we can't manage our money, then we won't be making products at all!" She shot back, standing up as well.
"You already had four other people whose job was to manage our money! Maybe you should actually do what you're being paid for!"
"Stop fighting! Please!" Len interrupted. "This is just supposed to be exchanging information so we can make the company better; arguing isn't going to get us anywhere."
"Ditto, and if you two keep this up I'll have you working without pay on the weekend," Yuki said. It made it her sad that they just couldn't get along, and her job was to make sure no one did anything crazy. "Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up in a physical fight at this point." No one had told her about the fight on Friday because their coworkers tried to keep everything that happened as secret as possible, which is why she didn't roll out any punishment.
"You really know how to get on my nerves," Miku complained, sitting back down with crossed legs. She was starting to get a little uncomfortable.
Kaito sighed. "I believe we've all shared enough, let's just end this meeting."
Miku was still stressed after the argument when she returned to her section and made herself a cup of coffee.
"How'd it go?" Meiko asked.
"Kaito's mad about the budget cut," Miku replied. "He thinks they're the only department that matters."
"Well, at least you weren't stuck with him for that long, other times you usually have to stay for quite a while longer," Rin pointed out.
"Yeah, guess so," she sat down and immediately remembered her need for the bathroom. She couldn't get up now though, Miku had literally just sat down. It would be weird to get up so soon.
She shifted to ease the uncomfortable pressure.
A few minutes passed before Luka asked a question, "I'm starting to get hungry, what about you guys?"
"Yeah, I could eat," Teto responded.
"Me too, I can't wait! I had rice and curry for dinner last night!" Rin exclaimed.
"Gumi-san, Hatsune-san, do you wanna join us for lunch, as well?" Meiko offered.
Miku was about to say something, but Gumi beat her to it.
"Sure, I'm gonna stop by the bathroom first, though. You can go on ahead," Gumi answered.
She had noticed Miku's shifting and that the twintailed woman would've usually gone to the bathroom by now; Gumi wanted to bother Miku a bit, so she figured this was a way that no one would suspect and wouldn't cause much harm.
Seriously?
Miku shot a glare at Gumi for just a moment. Now she would have to wait even longer.
There are multiple stalls of course, but it would be weird to go too soon after Gumi. even worse if I went at the same time. You can't expect me to—
Ah. I'm talking to myself again.
Every now and then she'd find herself defending her actions and such as if someone was asking about them.
Anyway, the girls made their way to the cafeteria. Most of them got more coffee, except for Teto, who got milk. Luka bought her lunch, getting yakitori, or chicken skewers. Rin and Teto heated up their food in the microwave while Miku waited for the short one to sit down.
When Teto found a seat, Miku sat directly next to her.
"Uhh..."
"How's it going Newbie?"
"I'm okay, I guess."
"What do you have today Hatsune-san? I got a teriyaki bento from the convenience store by my house," Meiko said.
"I made a karaage bento this morning," Miku replied, opening the box to reveal fried chicken, onigiri, and cucumber salad.
"Don't karaage bentos have daikon?" Teto asked.
"Yeah, but I don't like it," she said already taking a bite of a cucumber.
"Oooh! I love tamagoyaki!" Rin said when she noticed Meiko's food. Tamagoyaki is a Japanese rolled omelet.
When Gumi arrived she quickly bought some zaru soba—which is served cold and with dipping sauce.
After a bit of eating, Miku speaks up, "Hey Newbie, lemme have some of your ramen."
"What?"
"You heard me," Miku smirked.
"Are you sure? It's kinda spicy." Teto asked.
"C'mon, I can handle a little spice," she took the cup and slurped up some noodles.
Her eyes went wide almost instantly.
WHY IS IT SO HOT?! THIS IS THE SPICIEST THING I'VE EVER TASTED!
"You good?" Teto worried.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine," Miku quickly grabbed her coffee and gulped some of it down.
It was then that she found out that coffee can make spice worse.
"Oh my god, Newbie give me your milk right now," Miku demanded.
"Here," the girl handed the glass over, she knew it would be stupid to disobey her coworker right now.
Miku downed the rest of the milk, breathing heavily as she allowed herself to breathe again and the heat subsided.
"What. The fuck. Was that."
"Sorry, I tried to warn you," Teto defended.
"You didn't tell me it would burn my mouth off!" Miku shouted.
"I didn't think it would be that bad, it's only on the first spice level."
"I've literally never had anything nearly as spicy," Miku stated.
"Sounds like you've just got a low spice tolerance," Gumi snickered.
"No I don't."
"You totally do," Rin laughed.
"I don't usually have spicy stuff but I can still handle level one," Luka hid a smile.
"Ugh, shut up," Miku said, continuing to eat her own meal.
She felt a pang in her midsection.
Ohhh, that was dumb.
Miku had just drank more than a glass of fluid in less than a minute with a bladder that had already been bothering her for a while.
She tried shifting or crossing her legs, but when neither made the pressure lessen, Miku settled for tapping her foot.
When they had all finished their lunch and were able to head back, Miku realized this would probably be a good opportunity to use the bathroom. But she found herself not wanting to, not from embarrassment or shame or anything, she didn't know why.
Do I, like—
No. I'm not finishing that thought.
Miku sat down and continued working. Then she remembered that her report was due. That day. In thirty minutes.
"Damn it, I forgot about my report."
"Oh shoot, good luck," Rin responded.
There was no time to relieve herself without risking turning it in late. She changed her position to sit on her foot, that way she could make it less uncomfortable, if she squirmed a little, while keeping both hands away. Plus, she didn't care about putting her shoes on her own chair.
Miku tried her best to focus on her work, but she kept worrying about how much longer she should wait. She couldn't afford to take a break but she still had to print out the papers and bring them to Una as well.
Her ankle began to hurt a little, so she put it back on the ground, only to be hit with a wave of desperation.
She immediately shot her hand between her legs to hold herself, hoping no one would notice, and moved closer to her desk to hide it.
Of course, Gumi happened to be checking on her at that moment and could tell what was happening. She felt a bit guilty.
If I hadn't done that earlier, then maybe Hatsune-san wouldn't be stuck like this.
Miku began to type faster; she needed to make up for the loss of her other hand.
Then, she started tapping her foot. After about a minute, Luka started to get a little bit annoyed.
"Hey, Hatsune-san, could you please stop that?"
"Yeah, sorry."
Teto was shocked. She'd never seen Miku apologize for anything, and never thought she would.
. . .
Miku's foot began to tap again.
"Hatsune-san," Luka spoke.
"What? Oh, I didn't notice," and she stopped again, crossing her ankles this time to prevent another repeat.
A few more minutes passed.
She began to rub her thighs together every now and then when it got worse.
<...Best regards, Hatsune Miku.>
She placed her hand by her side and stood up.
"Newbie, come with me," Miku ordered.
"Okay," Teto replied, getting to a stopping point as Miku already started to leave.
The short girl struggled a little to keep up with her coworker, since Miku's stride was naturally longer and she was walking faster than usual.
But, Miku eventually reached her normal pace again.
"!" Miku gasped and froze as a small leak damped her underwear.
"Are, are you okay?" Teto worried.
"I'm fine," and she continued walking.
Why did I have Newbie come with me? Now I can't do anything!
Now she was going at a slower pace, and Teto had to consciously walk slower as well, as to not leave the other behind.
They turned a corner and the printer came into view.
"Go grab the papers for me," Miku pointed to it.
Teto sighed, but did as she was told.
Miku quickly hid back behind the corner against the wall and let herself squirm again. It felt amazing, finally being able to bounce up and down or rub her legs together, even hold herself.
"God..." She was so tired of holding it all in.
She heard the printer finish and immediately stopped moving. Miku waited until Teto first came into view to remove the support from her hands, placing them in fists at her sides.
"Finally, you're gonna be the reason this is past the deadline," Miku tried her best to sound normal.
She took one step. Her bladder hasn't been able to fully recover after the sudden removal of all its support.
Miku had lost all control.
The tall girl doubled over and rested her hands on her bent knees.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck," she cursed under her breath.
"Hatsune-san?" Teto rushed over and placed her hand on Miku's back.
After another second, she managed to stop the flow. She glanced down at herself for less than a second, and saw a small dark spot in her pants. Miku hoped it wasn't noticeable unless someone was trying to see it.
She let out a shaky breath, "I told you I'm fine. Now, get your hands off me."
"Sorry," Teto quickly apologized. "But, are you sure? It couldn't hurt to check with the nurse."
Actually, it would.
"I'm sure," she was beginning to get irritated.
Why would Newbie care if I was hurt?
"Give me the report," Miku took it and they finally started walking to the boss's office.
Halfway there, she started to worry if she could actually make it.
No, of course I will. I have every other time! If anyone could hear her inner voice, they'd clearly know she was very unsure.
Miku's breathing started to quicken.
As she started to tear up a little from fear, Miku looked up to see they had arrived at last.
"Wait for me, I'll be right back," Miku told Teto right before she opened the office door.
Una raised her head to see who was there, "Oh, hello Hatsune-san! Have you come to turn in your report?"
"Yeah," she responded, handing the papers over.
"Thank you! Right on time!" Una said. When she looked into Miku's eyes closer, she could see the tears forming and they displayed clear uneasiness. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm perfectly fine."
Una sighed. Miku could be so stubborn sometimes.
"Alright, have a good day," and she got back to her own work.
Miku left the room and closed the door.
Click!
A spurt of piss dampened her clothes a little more.
"Shit!" She whispered, bouncing on her heels while looking around and trying to remember where the nearest bathrooms were.
"Don't follow me, Newbie," she quickly said as soon as she remembered, immediately heading for where she knew one was located.
Miku rushed into the bathroom with one hand between her legs. She was absolutely desperate.
"Oh my god."
The second she entered a stall she started getting her belt undone with her free hand, it was a little difficult when she couldn't stop squirming.
Another spurt. Miku doubled over and let out a whimper in response. She was just so full.
She needed to be faster, so she began to try with both hands to free herself. "Stupid fucking belt, why won't it just—"
She froze, tensing up completely.
Even like that, she could do nothing to stop the trickle of piss.
"No. No no no. Oh my god no."
She began to lose all control, and tears rolled down her cheeks. She wasn't sure, but she thought she might've been able to hear the muffled stream through her clothes.
"This can't be happening," her voice was broken and she buried her face in her hands, her gloves soaking up some of her tears.
Miku sobbed as she felt her own piss making its way down her legs, soaking her pants with warmth.
It wasn't even relieving at all to finally release the pressure. Now that she thought about it, the last time she used the bathroom was before she went to bed the night before.
"I'm so stupid and pathetic and filthy," she started to feel like she had no energy. Miku's legs gave out when her bladder had finished emptying itself onto the floor, and she fell to sit on her knees.
Now she saw the puddle of her own creation that she sat in.
"They were right, you're useless."
For the moment, she just sat in silence, thinking. Miku thought about what she would do, about what people would think if they saw her like this, specifically her parents and Teto.
Why am I thinking about Teto again? It doesn't matter what she thinks, I can just scare her back into shape.
After another minute, the puddle had grown cold, so Miku stood and unlocked the stall. Then, she remembered how long her hair was. So long, in fact, that it definitely landed in the puddle when she fell as well.
She grabbed a blue twintail from somewhere that would be dry and parts of it glistened in the light.
"Dammit," She cursed, dropping her hair.
Miku made her way over to the sink and started to rinse off her hair; it was the only thing that she could think to do. She heard the door open and swung her head around.
"Uh, I saw what happened. I went to the nurse and she had some spare clothes," it was Teto.
This has to be a fucking nightmare.
Miku was frozen in fear.
"I'll just leave them here," she placed the clothes on the counter, causing the tall girl to flinch. "Do you... want a hug?" Teto asked, extending her arms a little. It was then that she got a good look at Miku's face for the first time.
The girl looked scared, and she didn't respond, but she was breathtakingly beautiful.
"Maybe... is it okay if I give you a hug?" She tried again; there were more important things at the moment.
Miku nodded slightly.
Teto wrapped her arms around Miku. She hesitated for a second, before returning the gesture.
It reminded her of the embrace they shared this morning, but this hug was softer, and she was much more fragile. Teto felt warm, a nice kind of warm.
Miku nuzzled her face into Teto's neck and shoulder.
"...Thank you," she whispered.
"It's no problem," Teto smiled as she whispered back.
They stayed like that for a little longer before letting go. Without a word, Miku went back to cleaning her hair. Teto turned to leave, but stopped just before the door.
"Um, want me to tell the janitor for you or..?"
The girl opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. She paused for a moment, and took a deep breath.
"Yeah," Miku replied.
With that, Teto left the other girl to change.
Miku had thrown out her wet clothes, she didn't know what to do with them and she had more pairs at home. There was just one problem.
Her socks had absorbed some of her piss. The inner side of them was tinted yellow, but she couldn't take them off until she got home. She just hoped no one could see them.
She made her way back to Una's office, knocking before she entered this time.
"What are you doing back here, Hatsune-san?" Una wondered.
"I'd like to ask to go home early," Miku stared at the floor, too ashamed to raise her head any higher.
"Oh? Why?"
"I... I'd prefer not to say," she fidgeted with her hands.
Una sighed, "Hatsune-san, I'm not allowed to let you go home without a valid reason."
I need you to be brave, Hatsune-san, Una didn't say that out loud because she knew it could bring Miku back to her normal self; even if it was just a little, that could be enough to lower the chances of her being honest to zero.
"I... I-wet-myself," Miku quickly said.
"Ah... That, that is a valid reason. You can go," Una responded.
Miku left without another word.
Rin looked up and spotted the girl returning, "Did you make it?"
"Wh-what?" Fear was evident in her voice.
Did Newbie tell everyone?!
"Did you get your report in before the deadline?" Rin asked again.
"Oh, yeah, I did," Miku went to pick up her bag and leave, trying her best to keep up her usual facade.
"Nice," Rin was a little confused by Miku's odd response.
"Are you going home?" Luka wondered.
"Uh, yeah," she picked up her bag and turned to leave.
"Wait, why?" Meiko questioned.
She sighed, "I don't wanna talk about it."
Gumi had a feeling she knew, and she blamed herself entirely.
Miku turned the key and pulled it out before opening her front door. She placed her bag on the hanger as she walked in, then removing her shoes.
When she reached her bedroom, she grabbed the first set of pyjamas she could find. Miku had been planning to do laundry that day, so her favorites were in the hamper.
Getting ready for the shower in the bathroom, she began to undress, taking off her socks first.
Maybe I'll wake up from this nightmare soon.
Then she hopped in the shower.
Miku stepped out and put on her fresh clothes. She headed to the kitchen to grab a drink of water.
I'm never gonna be that stupid again, she thought as she sipped on the cup.
Satisfied, she set it on the counter and went to start the laundry.
Once that was done, she would just try to fall asleep.
"That one looks like a coffee cup!" Teto giggled, pointing at a cloud in the sky.
She and Miku lay in a field sprinkled with pink lisianthus flowers and red, deep pink, orange, lavender, and coral colored roses.
"Nice," it was blissful. She slightly tightened her grip on Teto's warm hand. Miku turned her head to face her girlfriend, "I love you, you cute little idiot."
Teto did the same, their eyes meeting. Miku's gaze was soft, the other's were filled with joy.
"I love you too."
Miku closed her eyes, this was the most relaxed she felt in ages. She wished they could stay like this forever.
She was so happy.
Her eyes slowly opened, "What..?" Instead of a sky with clouds scattered around, Miku saw the roof of her bedroom.
"Newbie?" She turned to see no one was there.
It had been only a dream.
Plus, it was dark outside, she must've been sleeping for a while. Miku sat up, grabbing her phone to check the time. The screen displayed 23:52.
"I'd better put the laundry in the dryer," she hoped that there would be no laundry to find, that would mean the events of the day were a dream as well.
To Miku's disappointment, she found her socks and borrowed clothes. She really had humiliated herself while Teto watched.
It dawned on her then, what her dream had meant.
Miku was in love with Teto, and she wanted to be her girlfriend. She sighed, finally accepting her feelings; there was no point in denying them, anyway.
Why does she have to be so fucking cute?
When she finished moving her clothes, she decided to try and fall back asleep. If Miku stayed up all night, she'd be tired at work, and that would mean she'd need to drink extra coffee. But, before she got in bed, she'd make sure to use the bathroom.
She had learned her lesson and was planning on drinking much less than usual from now on.
That night, Miku fell back to sleep thinking about Teto.
