Rudo looks over at the clock on his bedside table- 3:15 am. He has to be in the car by 4:00 a.m., ready to go. Semiu had given team Akuta a job in no man's land. Rudo decides that it might be a good idea to get up and take a shower, since he feels gross, since he had been tossing and turning all night as his sheets got damp with sweat. The moment he sat up, a wave of nausea hit him like a truck; he stumbled to the bathroom and fell in front of the toilet as last night's dinner was vomited into the toilet bowl. He lay on the cold bathroom floor until he jolted up as Zanka banged on his door. "asshole get up, we're leaving in 20 minutes, we're meeting in the dining hall in 5 to have breakfast," he yelled "ok coming" Rudo replied in a raspy voice before getting off the bathroom floor, putting on his cleaners uniform and closing his door behind him.
As he walked down the hallway, the lights flickered brightly. "damn have the lights always been this bright?
" he thought. By the time he finished his thought, he was already at the dining hall. He sat down in a chair next to Enjin. "dude you seriously look like dogshit. What happened?" the blond questioned. "Nothing," Rudo responded, lacking its usual bite, which made some heads turn, but nobody said anything
They all loaded up in the car, squished between Follo and Zanka, the drive was about 6 hours, and Enjin was driving, so nobody was getting any sleep, well, except for a certain sperite.
Shortly after they left the headquarters, Follo felt something against his shoulder. He looked down and saw a white head of hair with black tips pressed against his shoulder. He let out a small chuckle that got everyone's attention. "What's so funny, Follo'' Enjin asked. "I felt something on my shoulder and looked down to see Rudo completely knocked out," Follo replied, which caused everyone in the car to look over and see the sperite fast asleep on the shoulder of his friend. Enjin's gaze lingered on the boy for a second too long, and that's when he noticed that the young boy's dark circles looked as if they sank deeper under his eyes than usual. Once they arrived at their destination, Enjin was tasked with waking up Rudo. Now, see if Enjin was tasked with waking up Zanka, he would just bug him until he woke up, but with Rudo, Enjin had to be a bit kinder. First of all, the kid looked like he had not slept in days in the morning, and now the kid was fast asleep. Enjin slowly patted the kid on the cheek, which he thought would wake him since he was such a light sleeper, but instead of waking up, the kid turned his head the other way to avoid Enjin's hand as he let out an annoyed whine, which shocked the team. After about two minutes, Rudo was awake, not in the best mood, but awake.
Rudo grabbed an old rusty pipe out of a mound of trash and activated 3R
Zanka spun his lovely assistaff
Enjin opened up Umbreaker
Riyo pulled out the ripper
They worked together, and soon enough, the trash beast was defeated.
