Wemmbu tightened his grip on Gambit. He felt— He wasn't bitter about losing Gambit to Egg, but about how Flame and Yungy treated Egg like a piece of property...
Jaden realized that, he glanced at Wemmbu for a moment, he wanted to tell Wemmbu not to do it, not to give Gambit, his mace for Egg, but Jaden couldn't interfere in Wemmbu's personal matters. What Jaden knows is, Wemmbu will drop everything for Egg. And he couldn't blame them.
"I—...I'll give you my Mace." Wemmbu said reluctantly.
The Invis one stared at Wemmbu. "That's not worth it. Do you really think Egg is worth that much?"
Wemmbu frowned. He held Gambit even tighter until his own nails dug into his palms.
"All of my inventory and enderchest right now.... Including the orbital canon that I have..." He said, he looked straight at the invis. He will never be ashamed to say it all with his head held high, fuck honor, he just wants to live in peace...
What good is pride if he's alone? Egg is his day one. Wemmbu will sacrifice everything if it means Egg returns to his side.
"Wemmbu that's a bit—" Jaden tried to stop Wemmbu.
"I know what I'm doing, Jaden. Do not stop me." He said firmly, which made Jaden silent for a few moments before he finally sighed and backed away.
"It's worth it now." The invis said, "Eggchan will be safely delivered as soon as I recieve the first half of the items and Gambit. And once he is delivered, I will expect the second half."
"No. Give egg right now, and take everything from me." Wemmbu said.
"Really bro...? You did all of that for uh? We can fight again like...?" Flame opened his mouth, quickly catching Wemmbu's attention.
That gaze was no longer the chill one, he was staring at Flame sharply.
"They're gonna ban Egg, Flame." He said sharply.
"Uh? Well, what exactly stopping me from this... like taking a fight here?" Flame doesn't even flinch at Wemmbu's gaze.
"Because then I'll tell him where Lomedy is and you'll be in the same situation as I am." Wemmbu replied, and that managed to make Flame frown a little and finally fall silent.
Flame finally left after saying that this all didn't concern him. Wemmbu looked back at the invis person.
Wemmbu didn't even bother to look at Yungy.
"Give me back Egg right now. And I'll drop everything." Wemmbu said.
"We have more riches than him." Yungy said, but The Invis didn't budge.
"His Orbital Canon and Mace are worth more than your riches right now to be honest." The invis said.
"What—"
"I suggest you two to go, and if you still insist on staying here, I might have to step in and ban you both."
Yungy and Arachnid frowned, they wanted to argue, but at this moment–
"We can get him and his chungus later, let's just go, Yungy." Arachnid said.
"What?? But why? We really need him, hello??" Yungy chased after Arachnid as he walked away. His voice began to fade as he got further away.
"And now, It's just us 3. I'll bring Egg back here, but give me your Mace or at least 10 of your orbital canons first." The invis said.
And Wemmbu didn't hesitate, he took out a shulker box that had his orbital cannon and threw it. It wasn't just 10, but a full shulker.
"Oh wow. Okay, that's– You are better than I expected to work with." The Invis said.
After the Invis confirmed that the shulker had its orbital cannon, he pulled out a fishing rod, which seemed to be Egg's stasis.
The sound of the ender pearl can be heard, and then Egg's voice.
"Uhm hello?? Where am I now?"
Wemmbu's eyes softened, he felt a little relieved after hearing Egg's voice again. He sighed. He walked over to the Invis person.
"Egg is behind you, just mine the block below, he's in the box in there." The invis said to Jaden, as he looked at Wemmbu who had removed his armor.
Wemmbu threw everything, all the items in his inventory, at the invis... He paused for a moment to look at some of the items that had quite a history with him...
And reluctantly threw it at the Invis.
Egg, who was now on the surface thanks to Jaden's help, stared at Wemmbu with wide eyes.
"What— Wemmbu?? Yo, stop that, what are you doing bro??" He asked, he walked to approach Wemmbu, but Jaden stopped him.
Egg laughed a little, not out of humor, but out of confusion. "What are we on right now? This isn't funny." He said.
Egg frowned in displeasure, he looked at Wemmbu holding his Mace, Egg was sure that it was Gambit.
"Wemmbu. Don't. We can just... we can find another way. Please, don't give him Gambit." Egg said. Trying to convince Wemmbu desperately.
Wemmbu then threw a Gambit at the invis, and that left Egg completely speechless.
Was Wemmbu doing this for his sake? If so, Egg would never forgive himself for making him do this thing again and again.
The Invis didn’t waste a second. He picked up the mace. "Pleasure doing business with you, Wemmbu."
With the fishing rod is released, the Invis was gone, leaving a vacuum of silence in his wake.
Wemmbu stood there, stripped of his netherite, his tools, and his pride.
"Wemmbu..." Egg’s voice was barely a whisper. He stepped past Jaden’s outstretched arm, his eyes darting from the empty space where the Invis had been to his friend's bare hands.
"Why? That was Gambit. That was... that was everything."
Wemmbu didn’t look up. He was staring at the ground where his life’s work had just been sitting.
"They were going to ban you, Egg," Wemmbu said, his voice flat, devoid of the sharpness he’d used on Flame. "Items can be regrinded. I still have a stasis to farland back in base... And I can find another mace."
"You can't just 'find' another Gambit, bro!" Egg shouted, the frustration finally bubbling over. He grabbed Wemmbu by the shoulders, shaking him slightly.
"You worked for that! You fought with that! You’re defenseless now! Flame, Yungy— they aren't just going to let you walk away. They’re going to come for you!"
Wemmbu finally raised his head. There was no regret in his eyes, only a profound, exhausted clarity.
"Let them be," Wemmbu replied quietly. "Let them see that there’s nothing left to take. And I wish them good luck on finding us."
He offered a weak, lopsided smile.
"Now, let's just go. We should go stay with Linn and fish together." Wemmbus said as he walked away, Egg just stood there silently, staring at Wemmbu with mounting guilt...
Jaden, who had been standing awkwardly, let out a long breath. He dropped 16 gapples onto the ground to Egg, and then followed Wemmbu and gave 16 gapples to him too. It was a pathetic offering compared to what had just been traded away, but it was still something for now.
Egg finally follows Wemmbu and Jaden who are walking away...

Wemmbu, Jaden, and Egg spent hours on a boat on the great sea to return to Old Man Linn's place. Egg was the one rowing, and Wemmbu just leaned his head against Egg and slept the whole way.
Meanwhile, Jaden was behind them, he rowed and looked after the two of them if suddenly another player attacked the three of them.
Throughout the journey there was only silence.
After finally arriving at Old Man Linn's place, Egg, Wemmbu, and Jaden are welcomed back. They tell Linn what happened. And Linn offered for them to stay with him here, and that they could get and use the gear in his stash.
Although Egg was a little hesitant, Wemmbu agreed. Wemmbu wanted to stop, and leave everything behind. He wanted to start something new here, he still wanted to play on this server in peace... with Egg.
They will stay at Linn's place for at least a month, then they can return to the main server to mingle with other players again without being the center of attention like before.
They would keep a low profile. And rumors would have already spread by then, that Wemmbu wasn't as strong as before if Yungy was spreading what he saw correctly, so Wemmbu and Egg wouldn't be a target anymore by that time.
"Let's Explore the world Egg. Linn said there's still a lot we don't know," Wemmbu said as they fished together.
"Yeah? Let's go dude, it'll be awesome." Egg said as he smiled.

"You sure you don't want to take the Prot IV sets?" Linn asked, as he pointed toward his stash, chests filled with gear he’d hoarded over the years.
Wemmbu shook his head, adjusting a simple diamond chestplate. "No thanks, Linn. We’re going low. Iron and diamond are enough for where we’re going."
Egg was already in the boat, checking their supplies. He looked different, more relaxed. The frantic edge he always had, the fear of being the "weak link" that someone would use to get to Wemmbu, had evaporated.
"Ready when you are, bro!"
After finishing talking with Linn and Jaden, Wemmbu approached Egg and then got into his boat. With a final wave, Egg began to row.
This is their new beginning. And they will do what they want without the fear of the danger that has plagued them for the past two years.
