Chapter Text
~
Two twin brothers, far too young and too naive
~
Wemmbu had a problem, and a big one at that. He had been kidnapped at the right age of 13. Perfect. Now you might be asking who kidnapped Wemmbu? Who could have ever kidnapped the biggest and strongest human on the whole of planet earth. While it wasn't a human, no he wouldn’t be kidnapped by such boring means. No, he had gotten kidnapped by aliens.
Ya thats right. Aliens.
He got his ass kidnapped by aliens.
Now most people would have just cried in a corner but Wemmbu couldn’t do that. He had his twin brother Re-joice with him. He was afraid for Re-joice, because his brother wasn’t a fighter, he was the kindest human on earth.
And these aliens were not kind, they were monsters. They had experimented on them without a care. And well, now he was alone with no brother to hold him when he cries. No brother he loved with all his heart. Now it was just a cell.
A cold and empty cell.
Wemmbu was pretty sure he wasn't 13 anymore, maybe 15 or 16. It didn’t matter because even if he was older he still felt like a small and terrified child.
Enough of him moping around about his brother's death. He quickly looks over at the hole in the wall where his meals would be placed when those aliens would come and give him food.
Speaking of the aliens that were holding him. They were a mix of a lot of different aliens. But the main ones he see’s are this long slender fuckers with four arms. They have legs like a chicken so he has deemed them as chicken leg Aliens. But they also were quite colourful. All kinds of colours from red to neon purple. They were at least nice to look at.
At first he thought he could trust them. Since the bright colors made him think of safety and not danger. Yet now he knew that bright colors meant danger and that nothing was kind.
At least the cell was interesting.
There were soft lights that allowed him to see and the aliens to see him. He had this small bed made out of rags the aliens had thrown in here. It wasn’t the best sleeping spot in the world but it would do. Not like he wasn’t used to it, after all being an orphan comes with its fair share of life learning experiences.
But other than that the walls have these odd white banners that have a yellow sun ring and dot in the middle.
The banners must have been whatever the aliens served under.
So this must be an organisation or a country.
He tightened the rap around his forearm to finish the rap. It was a makeshift bandage, but Wemmbu knew that the wound would heal wrong and if he was unlucky it could get infected.
Wemmbu let out a sigh and leaned back against the wall, closing his eyes.
God he needs to take a nap.
And Wemmbu listened to his body. It was something he did now, because his body was mostly always right about these things.
He got up and went to the rag made bed, and lay down in it and made himself comfortable.
It only took him a few minutes to fall into the peaceful black void of sleep.
-
The sound of screeching and struggling woke Wemmbu up with a start.
He had been dreaming of a flowerfield of sunflowers which Re-joice and him were running around and playing tag.
His brother had been smiling like the world would be the same the next day and the next and that nothing would change. Nothing was meant to change but yet it did.
He was reminded of that when he woke up. Reminded that what he had dreamed about would always be a dream now. He would never get his brother back; he would never get to run through sunflowers with Re-joice again.
Wemmbu shook his head. He needed to focus on what was going on around him. And that was the loud straggle outside his cell. Which was getting louder and louder. Now he could hear talking and screaming in the alien’s language. The chicken aliens talked in chirps and clucks, but there was also this humming wubble sound along with insect-like chirps.
Maybe the chicken aliens had captured some more aliens again, and while he felt bad for the guys. After all, the chicken aliens were not nice to prisoners, only mean and brutal.
One time he had been made to fight one of the aliens and while the poor guy hadn’t lasted long. He still remembers the gurgling of blood as the alien tried to speak through the blood in his throat, and the power as well.
He was so caught up in his thought that he jumped and fell over into the rags bed and got tangled in them, as something alive was thrown into his cell. It had an insect chirp sound before it went up in panic.
The door to his cell closed with a click.
It took Wemmbu an embarrassingly long time to get untangled from the rags he had fallen into. When he FINALLY got free he turned to the entrance to see who or what had been thrown into his cell and let out a scream.
The thing near the door also let out a scream and tried to get away from him. The figure had mostly green skin and had mandibles where his mouth would have been on his face along with armour plating around his black bug-like eyes and antennae. It was also rocking some nasty looking claws and four legs.
But what really made the thing look like an insect that only an Australian would love was its deadly stinger on its arms.
Wemmbu was not about to go up and touch the thing but it did look kinda small.
Same height as Re-joice now that he thought about it. Thinking about Re-joice brought back his brother's last words.
“Forgive and Forget.”
Wemmbu took a look at the alien one last time before sighing and rubbing his hand down his face. He guessed he could do something for his late brother and let the insect live. Besides, it was still tied up.
“Don’t make me regret this insect.” Wemmbu snarled, before getting up and walking over to the alien.
