Charles was on facetime with Niko talking about anything and everything. It’s been about 2 months sense they have seen each other in person. Charles missed Niko so badly, Charles was in France visiting his family during the new long break Blue Lock was taking.
“Ok, but Niko, hear me out,” Charles spoke up slightly louder than he was previously saying. “I'm hearing ya,” Niko replied, waiting for Charles to continue what he was saying. “What if I go to your hometown or something?” Charles spoke up hesitantly.
Niko blinked slightly a small blush on his cheeks. “Wait no please don't Charles.” Niko said quickly making Charles confused. “Oh..” Charles replied back in a small voice the call going quiet for a minute.
The silence was broken when Charles spoke up. “Do you not want to see me or?” Niko quickly shook his head. “No, of course I want to see you more than anything, just..” Niko trailed off. He then let out a deep sigh “You know how your birthday is soon right?”
Charles eyes lighted up slightly at the mention of his birthday. “Shidou and I bought plane tickets to visit you for your birthday and both of our moms agreed to keep it a surprise.” Niko spoke nervously feeling guilty spoiling the surprise.
Charles nearly jumped out of his chair “WAIT! You and Shidou are visiting me soon!” Charles spoke with excitement. Niko nodded “yeah just 4 more days, Char’s” Niko said with a smile on his face.
The next few days felt like torture to Charles just wanting to see his bf and best friend again, but he could wait. He was excited to show them around his hometown and for them to meet his mom in person. The excitement overflowing him he couldn't wait.
When the day finally arrived Charles was waiting at the airport with his mom his mom had a smile on her face not aware her soon already knows who they are seeing here. He sat there practically bouncing with excitement.
“Hey Charles happy birthday” Charles mom said with a smile on her face. Charles looks over at her with an even bigger smile. “So Charles can you guess why were at the airport?” Charles mom asked him.
Before Charles could reply, he felt someone's hands cover his eyes “Guess who” Spoke someone behind him. Charles quickly turned around and hugged the person tightly. “Nikooo!!” Niko quickly hugged back a huge smile on his face.
As Charles started to pull away to look at Niko he saw his best friend Shidou approaching from behind Niko with Sae. Charles quickly greeted Shidou while not letting go of Niko.
“So how long are you guys staying for?” Niko asked after greeting both his bf and Best friend. “For about a week and a half.” Niko replied with. Shido nodded “Yep but me and Sae will be staying at a motel near by but we’ll see you daily and hang out” Shidou said with a grin.
Charles nodded with a huge smile “Ok! Wait does that mean Niko will be staying with me!” He said while looking back at his mom with big eyes. His mom nodded “Well obviously where else do you think he would stay?” Charles mom said stating the obvious.
After Charles got all the plans they went back to his house Charles quickly took Niko’s hand leading him inside his house and showing him around. Once they entered Charles room Niko quickly stepped closer to him clashing their lips.
Charles quickly responded back with kisses to and pulled away with a smile “I Missed you so much Niko...” Charles whispered to Niko.
“I missed you more” Niko said in response. “Yeah no way that is possible” Charles said, denying what Niko said. “Yes way!” Niko protested. “Hell, no man I was yearning for you. Like Ivan level yearning.” Charles spoke back.
“Stop referencing Alien Stage Char’s” Niko grumbled then crashed onto his bed, opening his arms open. Charles quickly crashed down next to him and wrapped his arms around him too.
“Thank you for this.” Charles spoke in a low voice against Niko’s chest. “For what?” Niko questioned. “You know what, I mean coming all this was just for my birthday” Charles responded back. “Of course, you’re my boyfriend it’s your birthday and I missed u a lot.” Niko said back.
The rest of the night they just cuddled and played video games every now and then. It was the best birthday Charles could ask for.
