NARRATIVE UNIVERSE
In this universe, some men are born with the ability to carry a pregnancy (no omegaverse), they are know as "Carrier", and they face a severe form of sports sexism, systematically viewed as weaker or inferior (just like women).
TIMELINE
Canon timeline up to the 2017 All-Star Game, except that Shane and Rose had a PR relationship.
January 2017 – September 2017
8th Season: Shane - Montreal / Ilya - Boston
January: All-Star Games
February: Ilya’s father dies
May: Shane injury (concussion and broken collarbone)
and discovery of pregnancy
June: Scott Hunter and Kip kiss
Late June: Cottage Trip
Shane and Ilya became official and plan the future
August: Ilya move to Ottawa
Last August: Shane comes out as a Carrier to Hayden, revealing the whole truth
Early September: Shane and Ilya welcome their first son: Aleksandr (Alec) Yuki Hollander-Rozanov
September 2017 – December 2017
9th Season: Shane - Montreal: ON HIATUS
Ilya – Ottawa (1st)
Both live in Ottawa with their son
October: Shane begins to suffer from an eating disorder
November: Ilya begins to suffer from depression
Early December: Shane and Ilya come out to Centaurs - Shane becomes a Cens’s WAG
December: Shane comes out as a Carrier to Metros – THEY DON’T TAKE IT WELL
No St. Stephen's fight
January 2018 – June 2018
Early January: Shane returns to play for Montreal
Alec mostly stays with Shane - Yuna is with Shane and David is with Ilya
January: All-Star Games
February: Centaurs plane crash - Shane proposes to Ilya
April: Ottawa make playoffs but exit early
June: Shane wins his third Stanley Cup with Montreal
Late June: Shane and Ilya’s relationship goes public with Hayden’s Fanmail video
July: Shane and Ilya get married
Over the Summer Shane leaves Montreal and signs with Ottawa
September 2018 – June 2019
10th Season: Shane (1st) / Ilya (2nd, 1st as CAPTAIN) - Ottawa
Shane and Ilya live in Ottawa as a family
December: Establishment of the Irina Foundation
January: All-Star Games
June: Ottawa makes playoffs but fall in Quarterfinals
September 2019 – June 2020
11th Season: Shane (2nd) / Ilya (3rd) - Ottawa
January: All-Star Games
March: League break due to Covid-19
August: Shane and Ilya win their First Stanley Cup togheter with Ottawa (Ottawa’s First Cup ever)
Late August: Shane finds out he is pregnant for the second time (twins)
September 2020 – June 2021
12th Season: Shane (3rd): ON HIATUS / Ilya (4th) - Ottawa
December: Shane and Ilya welcome their second and third sons: Sebastian Kei and Christoper Yuri Hollander-Rozanov
Late March: Shane returns to the ice
June: Ottawa win their Second Stanley Cup (back-to-back)
Several veterans retire over the Summer
September 2021 – June 2022
13th Season: Shane (4th) / Ilya (5th) - Ottawa
October: New rookies join the team
The roster undergoes a heavy transition
January: All-Star Games
February: Shane and Ilya welcome their first daughter: Isabelle Irina Hollander-Rozanov
June: Ottawa makes playoffs but falls in the Quarterfinals, finishing 5th overall
