X walked though the halls of the mothership with a frown, the conquest of earth was starting to go south. The EFD used to be scrambled too thin under the might of the Kaiju, but one monster stood out from the rest, the one hidden the ice, this Godzilla was a wrecking ball. It plowed through all the monsters thrown at it, even being victorious in a vicious three V one fight! Now it was on the tail of the runaway humans in a ship flying to their location. No matter. The Xilien fighter ships were ready & waiting to strike, they had ‘Gorath’ zooming on course for phase two, and still one more surprise for the people of earth. X entered a large holding bay where sparks flew & tec whirled along the body of a cyborg Kaiju.
“Ah! Gigaannn!” X grinned like a cartoon villain and rubbed his black, leather clad hands. This mighty war monster was a forgotten gift from their ancestors when they scouted new planets for conquest. After awakening from his slumber in earth and a fight with Godzilla, the monster was now under repairs after his battle.
“Rerraaa!” cawed Gigan from his repair bay at the sight of his leader and lifted one of his hooked sickles to his face as a salute, only to slice though several support beams & machines next to him. “Errr…” groaned the monster and looked else where from embarrassment.
“Is it just me…or has he been working out?” X blinked and pointed both fingers at Gigan.
“We upgraded the monster as we repaired him, sir.” An Xilien worker said with all the grace of a voice mail machine. “Head upgraded and braced, laser retuned for ample power,”
“We also added serrated disks into the monster’s chest,” another Xilien presented a 3D hologram schematic showing off said disks. “they shoot at high speed and loop back for another slice.” X hummed as he watched the screen, thumb stroking his chin.
“Well, that’s a big upgrade. But I was hopping for more…pizzazz!” he spread his hands out and grinned. “Something new for those hooks of his…something sharp, ya know?” The workers began to craft 3D images of new weapons on their work consoles; X began to pace back and forth as he watched the screens. “Too big, too slow, too gun-like too- wait! There! Right there!!” he zoomed over to a screen and pointed at the schematic. “Begin the upgrade prosses!” he hollered and pressed a few buttons on the workstation. Two drones emerged from ports in the floor, flew to Gigan’s level and hovered in place. “Gigan,” X folded both hands behind his back. “prepare to engage.” The kaiju nodded to the Controller and raised his arms. The drones attached to each of his hooks, then the metal began to shift like it was melting, it first split into a V shape then straightened to form two rods, the metal hardened and a row of toothed spikes popped out from the sides.
“Rrraaa?!” Screaked Gigan, his beak hung open at the sight of his new weapons and began to wave his chainsaws around wildly, their spinning blades wooshed around in the air. X began to cackle in a goofy tone as he watched Gigan shred into more support beams. He turned back to dead inside Xiliens and jabbed a thumb in Gigan’s direction.
“Upgrades, people, upgrades.” He grinned.
