Ghostly Owner

Summary:

You find yourself learning about something terrible that happened in your new house many many years ago. And the ghost of a man who haunts the property to this day.

Chapter 1: His beginning

Chapter Text

The only way you were able to buy this house was from the money your family had lent you, they knew how badly you wanted this little house. It wasnt like your family was rich, but they each chipped in enough money to allow you to afford the cottage house youd dreamed of. Beautiful flower garden around the house, black paneling, a gorgeous deck in the back. Everything was perfect. The inside just as good, open concept with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with an unfinished basement and a large room on the second floor. It took you three days to get your new home all unpacked, and it looked gorgeous. You couldnt be any happier in your dream home if you tried.

But soon after you moved in, things felt off. Cool drafts of air, light sensations of a hand on your skin, your items getting lost and found in random places. You didnt know if you were going crazy or if your new home was haunted. But being a non believer of ghosts, you brushed it off as stress. But things only got worse. You could feel a pair of eyes watching you every second of the day. You became incredibly anxious inside the supposed safety of your own house.

The keys of your keyboard clicking away as you typed, nerves on edge as you could feel a hand on your shoulder and a pair of eyes burning holes through the back of your head. You couldnt focus like this. No way. Pushing away from your desk, you stood up and made your way to the kitchen, the eyes following you the whole way. You filled a glass of water quickly gulping it down. A clink can be heard as you set the glass back down, the presence still lingering behind you.

With a loud sigh you take shakey steps back to your room and continue to work at your desk. After all, how will you afford anything if you dont get paid? But a touch along your thigh stops your typing. Whatever kind of ghost was haunting you was getting bolder. Your heart pounding in your chest as the feeling gets closer and closer to your core.

Shaking your head you stand up and flop onto your bed, there is no way its a ghost, you tell yourself. Its practically midnight anyways, you just tired, your minds playing tricks on itself.

So you close your eyes.

But the handcuffs that lands over your mouth fills your body with dread. This is too real. You cant deny it any longer. Your being haunted. Your eyes shoot open to see a man with messy black hair and deep red eyes looking down at you. But to your horror, you can see right through him. You reach your hands out to push him away, get him off of you, but your hands slip right through him. Even when you try to pry his hand off your mouth, your hands cant touch his, only slip right through.

His body leans forwards with a sensual smile on his wicked lips. But what you expect to be a kiss or some chilling words is only the sudden disappearance of the ghostly man.

You lay in your bed, eyes wet with tears, as you think about what just happened. That man you saw, who was he? Is he really a ghost? Did all of that really happen? But you didnt have a clue to any of those answers.

Tomorrow youll have to look around.
